"I enjoy rock, too," Keiko said, dropping her hand to her side. "Good luck with the band!" She smiled and glanced over at Justin's friends and noticed Yuki was making her way over to them. Keiko rolled her eyes and returned her attention to Justin who was fiddling with his goggles. "Is... is there a reason why you wear goggles?" Keiko asked, curious about Justin's accessory.

Justin flashed Keiko a grin. "These goggles are my trademark. I never leave home without them. They're a gift from my mom. I never knew her, since she died after I was born. My uncle says they're a piece of her. Plus, they look awesome on me!" He explained. Meanwhile, Kain and Takeshi noticed Yuki coming over. Kain flashed a smile, while Takeshi just nodded at her.

Keiko's heart sank. Never before had she met someone who had lost a parent. Most of her friends' parents were still together or remarried. "Oh..." Keiko said, embarrassed that she had asked that question. "They... they do suit you, though... She smiled slightly and looked down at her feet again. The band switched to one of her favorite songs and Keiko started to move her tail to the beat.

Justin probably shouldn't have brought that up. However, he never knew his mother, so he didn't feel bad about the topic. Just curious about who she was. He then saw Keiko's tail sway to the music, causing him to smile. He then began to dance, slipping the goggles over his eyes.

Keiko looked up and giggled when Justin put his goggles over his eyes and started to dance. She smiled and started stepping to the beat before dancing as well. Justin was really goofy but he seemed as though he did not care; he acted like himself and was proud to show it off. Keiko wished she had as much confidence as he did. Well she did have confidence... just not around boys.

Justin smiled when he heard Keiko giggle. He then continued to dance, pulling some crazy moves, until he ended up breakdancing on the floor. A few spins here, a handstand there, and then jumped back up to his feet. He sure had moves, and he was lucky he didn't crash into the snack table. Well, not THIS time, anyway. Kain gave him a thumbs up, while Takeshi simply smiled at his outrageous friend. Justin smiled, then looked to Keiko. She may have said she was bad around boys, but she was fine around him, from where he stood. She seemed like a really nice girl. Plus, he had to admit, she was freaking cute!

Keiko laughed and clapped when Justin broke out his real dancing shoes. He was really amazing. She saw his friends watching him and saw Yuki was hanging out with them now. "Where did you learn how to do that?" she asked when he was done. ((OOC: Read my siggy!))

Justin pulled the goggles back onto his forehead, smiling at Keiko. "To be honest, I got that off of TV. I only started practicing after I crashed into the snack table at a party for my cousin." He explained, chuckling at the memory. "On the bright side, though, I got to keep the chocolate ice cream cake they had!" He joked.

Keiko laughed when she heard Justin's story. "That's funny," she said with a grin. The band switched songs again to a song that was not as upbeat. Keiko's tail kept time as she looked up at the band. They were really good. She then turned back to Justin. "Would... would you like to get a drink with me?"

The sound of the band playing was quite relaxing to Justin. His eyes then shifted onto Keiko, and a smile formed on his face. "Sure." He said. He was glad that he could meet Keiko, and help her let herself loose. She was really a great girl, once the shyness problem started to clear up.

Keiko smiled and led the way over to the snack table. She grabbed a glass for Justin and handed it to him before getting a glass for herself and filling it with punch. She took a sip and her tail froze and her lips puckered. It was really sour. Not wanting to waste her drink, Keiko slowly continued to sip it. As she turned to Justin, Yuki came up behind her and grabbed her tail. Keiko spun around quickly, knocking over a few glasses that shattered when they hit the floor. Her face turned bright red as she looked at the mess she made. "Yuki..." she groaned to her friend. People who heard the racket were now turning to see what had happened.

Justin saw the crowd of people turn to face them. He didn't want Keiko to be embarrassed, so, he had an idea. "Damn. Sorry about that, guys. Just a little accident. My bad. Please continue what you were doing." He told the crowd, who let out a few laughs at Justin. Sure, he took the fall, but it was to keep Keiko from getting nervous again. He simply turned to Keiko with a wink, signaling her to play along. Kain and Takeshi, however, only laughed because they thought Justin was a goof for taking the fall. They also knew his heart was in the right place.

Keiko looked at Justin with wide eyes. Why was he taking the blame for her? When people began to laugh, Justin winked at Keiko and she laughed along nervously. What would the girls from her school think of him since he took the blame for breaking the glasses? What would the girls' principal think? As people started to return to their dancing, Keiko looked at Yuki who was just as surprised about Justin's actions. Keiko's face slowly started to lighten up as she turned to face Justin.

Justin gave Keiko a smile. "I didn't want you to be embarrassed, or anything. I took the blame because I'm a total goof. People expect this kinda accident from me." He explained to her. He then grabbed his drink, sipping it happily. Sometimes, he liked sour things.

"You... you didn't have to do that," Keiko said softly. Her eyes were still wide and they started to sting. She felt like she was about to cry, she was so embarrassed. "E-even if you are a goof... Don't... don't you worry about what other people think of you?"
