Even though her laugh still had a slight nervous and panicky edge to it, it was still rather pretty. Alexander grinned in happiness that she was not clamming up like he had been afraid she might. "Don't worry, your now dubbed 'Cia and that shall be your name." he chuckled, not bothering to ask why she didn't want to be called Eva as he didn't want to kill her returning good cheer. He smiled reassuringly at her when she brought herself to admit what her preference was.
He knew it was a big step for her and he was glad she could take it. "I didn't have many plushies, any I got Poochy would get a hold of." he laughed and winked before giving her a soft look, skipping over why she joined as that could wait for another day. "That's right, you wont be alone again. Even if there is no human around you can remember that you have your pokemon so not to get lonely. And not you have Conrad and I as friends."

Nodding with mute agreement the light-haired medic relaxed further into the soft folds of the couch. Sighing deeply Acacia now dubbed 'Cia' shook her head very slightly at everything that was happening. She had never expected to actually tell someone about something so personal much less a man, much less a man that really understood and showed compassion.
“Cia it is then,” she mused softly while keeping her crimson hued eyes closed as she spoke. “I feel really awkward right now, I don't know what to say or do. It's like, there is this huge weight off my chest and I can breath. But I don't know what to say to you now. I am like so happy and at ease right now. I have never felt like this before Xander, never. What do I do now? I said it to you, but I don't think I could tell anyone else. Is that normal?”

Alexander watched Acacia relax more into her seat and he started to pet Conrad, who had been pretty silent for a while now. He glanced down and saw the Eevee half asleep and he gave a soft smile before looking back up to Acacia.
"It's always awkward after the first time you admit to anyone you like more then the opposite gender, or in like your case when you only like the same gender." Oh boy was he speaking from experience. The first time he had admitted he was bisexual had been both mortifying and liberating. "It's ok that you don't know what to say or do just yet, your most likely still reeling from the ups and downs you just had." he said with a nod. "You'll figure it out after your emotions and brain finally come to complete terms. Don't worry bout feeling like you can't tell anyone else just yet." Alexander gave her a soft knowing look. "You took your first step and if might be a while before you feel safe enough to tell anyone else your preference."

That really did make sense, what her new friend was saying. More sense than anything anyone had ever told her before.
'My daddy knew---he always knew---since I was little---he was trying to get rid of my disease but he only made it worse, he thought he could cure me, but then every single time he enjoyed it more and more, until it wasn't about me anymore---maybe it never was really about me---'
Cringing and stiffening her closed eyes snapped open violently. Glancing around the room Acacia 's eyes rested on the wall mounted clock, the mechanical tick-tock, tick-tock, caused her to flinch and lightly tremble. “I hate that sound, ya know the sound clocks make, watches, I can't stand it. Daddy always had his watch on, it is a type of first-aid watch used by doctors to keep time with pulses and heart rates. And he had this, huge brass alarm clock, ya know the really old ones with the bells and hammer. It was like he tried to keep in pace with it, like he had something to prove to the damn thing. The bed would make the same sound, ya know that steady pattern. I hate clocks---ya know---I can't even wear a normal watch, I have to have a digital one.” Deeply ranted the woman, her eyes were focused unlike they had been before, she was fully aware that she was telling Alex so much dark information. “The clock was the only thing I could focus on when I was a kid and now I can't stand listening to them. Messed up huh?”

Alexander's eyes gained a sad glint when it looked like Acacia was being tormented by her thoughts again. He was just going to say something, anything really, to try and distract her when she started to speak again. As she talked he placed his hand, the one not still petting Conrad, on the armrest of the chair she was in. It was close yet far enough that he hoped would give comfort rather then make then make things worse. "It's not messed up. You were traumatized so it is no surprise that you feel that way. If you want we can find some place with out an analog clock to talk or I can take that one down for now." He wasn't about to let her suffer through more dark memories when he wasn't sure if she was ready to face them yet. Of course he knew that he could be wrong and she could be ready to face more but better safe then sorry.

Continuing pinching the bridge of her small pointed nose the fair complexioned medic nodded mutely, her voice had escaped her for just a few moments but within a heartbeat the slender woman spoke up with a small wavering tremble. “I would like it if you took the clock down for right now. I mean it isn't like it will hurt anyone if the clock isn't up, ya know,” sighing slightly Acacia pulled her hand away from her face and glanced to the side where Alexander had placed his arm, a thin wan smirk twitched at the corners of her mouth before shifting in her seat as if trying to get more comfortable and moving a bit closer towards the man's arm but still maintaining her comfort distance. “you are the only person that has ever listened to me---read between the lines. My mommy, noticed a change in my attitude when I was about ten, she pegged it to hormone changes but when I cut off all of my hair and dyed it. She got a psychiatrist for me. But---the things that were written about me---he didn't listen to me, he called me a compulsive liar. Said that I was just trying to get attention, turn my parents against each other, said I was manipulative and conniving. I know what happened to me, I know it wasn't something that I was making up. But the doctor just didn't listen---but it didn't stop there, Xander.”
Acacia shifted again in on the couch and looked at the man with conviction in her eyes, pain burning through her gaze and seemingly anger as well.
“He wasn't the only psychiatrist I had, then when my mother took me to get physical exams, and that is what killed me the most, they always said the same thing. I was healthy, of average weight, and showed no signs of physical abuse. It made me feel like I was insane, like maybe I was just making it up. I just don't understand it. I have my suspicions on it, my father was very influential in the medical community and having something like that come out would ruin him.”

Alexander watched he shift closer and felt satisfied that his comfort was being accepted and not hindering. "Ok, I'll take it down." he nodded but didn't move just yet, letting her finish talking first. "I was raised believing that everyone needs to be listened to, not just in what they say but also in what they do. Granted I'm not always able to read between the lines but this time... you whole being was screaming for something." his father has taught him it was important to look beneath the beneath too but he wasn't good at that most of the time.
"It sounds like your suspicions are correct, there is no way all of those people would have missed what was going on, something was definitely up." Alexander took that moment to shift the now sleeping Conrad into Acacia's lap, half for comfort for her and half so he could stand up. He moved over to the clock and quickly took it down and moved it where the ticking wouldn't be heard. He then turned to her and gave a slow evil tinted grin. "You know 'Cia, we're in Team Rocket, and evil organization... No one would think twice if you managed to take your revenge on that b*****d in some way."

As Conrad shifted ownership to her lap the woman smiled and absentmindedly stroked the furred creature resting on her legs. It was different the silky soft feeling of the eevee, she was used to stroking the smoothed scales of Ampule but there was something oddly pleasant about the feeling of fur against her skin.
'You know 'Cia, we're in Team Rocket, and evil organization... No one would think twice if you managed to take your revenge on that b*****d in some way.'
A sinister grin that manifested across her face, Alexander had struck a sweet cord within her soul. If only he knew what she had planned for her father, he would end up praying for a death that would never come. She would never grant him serenity for the transgressions that he committed against her.
“Trust me,” she sneered aggressively as she stroked the fur on Conrad's back, the image was almost a humorous mock of a scene from the Godfather. “He is gonna get what's coming to him. Daddy's little princess doesn't know her way around a scalpel and sutures for the fun of it. I will make him hurt just like he hurt me every single time. I have a few things in mind, I am just waiting for my chance.”

Conrad shifted lightly in his sleep and let out an almost purring sound at the petting.
Alexander had actually shivered slightly when that evil grin grew on Acacia's face. Half of the reason why was because of anticipation of a man he had already grown to hate getting what he deserved, and the other half was because he had to choke down laughter at the over all picture. He walked back over and sat down in his previous spot with a grin. "Good, if you need any help then let me know even if I'm completely sure you could handle him." he said and he meant it. He may be part of an evil organization but that didn't mean most of the members didn't have some morals and 'do not's'. Murderers, abusers and rapists were the top of his list of people he would love to cause an 'accident' for.

The smile flickered then faded from the sinister grin to something airy and sweet within a matter of seconds as she listened to Alexander speak. If she needed any help with the task he certainly would be someone that she would come to without a question. “You better believe it, I might look like a goody-two-shoes but after everything that I have been through, I can really be a heartless, evil, b*tch.”
Once again her demeanor was calm and relaxed, she seemed to be back to her average state of mind and temperament. Dragging her long bony fingers through her bangs she gave the blonde grunt a large genuine smile before shifting Conrad on her lap slightly. “He weights a ton. What do you feed him, whole Milktanks?”

Alexander made a mental not that she had a pretty smile and was glad he had already dubbed her off limits in his head. He knew that once he put his mind to someone being of limits and physical attraction he might have felt for them doesn't go farther then 'yeah they're cute'. "I doubt your heartless, but have a good castle built up around your heart. Maybe even have a moat seeing as you already have a 'crocodile' on hand." He joked with a grin.
He laughed softly at her words and wordlessly held his arms out if she decided she wanted to hand his little fuzzball back. "Nah, I'm convinced that he can some how make his self ten times heavier in his sleep because he's rather light when awake and I carry him."

“A moat,” laughter erupted from her lips as she slid the eevee back over to his owner. It was a cute joke especially the crocodile part. “That was priceless, Xander. Totally priceless. Hm, I just need a princess to live in the castle in my heart. Maybe then I won't be so unhappy and bitter. I mean, there is this girl here, I really like her and when we hang out I don't think about the bad things as much. Which is something that is rare. Ya know? When I am around her I get nervous and I just want to impress her and take care of her, I feel so odd just saying that. Ya know. Her name is Tambrey. I just I really like her but I couldn't ever tell her that ya know. But I really want to but I am too scared. Gah, this is so weird talking about it.”

Alexander took back Conrad and cuddled the Eevee to his chest, a soft look on his face. He then looked back at Acacia and smiled brightly. "Glad you liked it." He watched in amusement as she got a slight wistful look on her face as she talk about her crush. "Well maybe you could feel her out, see how she feels about gays and lesbians. If she doesn't seem to mind them and doesn't specifically say she's strait you could always drop some subtle hints of how you feel. But if she doesn't pick them up sit back and watch how she acts towards you vs. other people and see if she might have feelings other then friendship for you. I wouldn't suggest telling her how you feel until you know it wont upset your friendship and you're sure your ready to try."
(Sure, then we could always have them meet up again soon X3)

“That sounds hard---” Acacia muttered at the advice. “How would I even go about doing that? I don't think I am subtle enough to just hint about that sort of thing. And I don't know how to read people well enough to tell if she has more than just friendly feelings towards me. I mean there are times that I make her blush but, I don't think that proves too much. I have no idea about how to even approach this with her.” Sheepishly muttered the slender built woman as she herself brightened up rosily in her cheeks and ears. “She likes to read, maybe I could buy her a lesbian romance novel then discuss it over a cup of coffee, is that subtle enough? Or just lame of me?”
Lifting her hand to her mouth the light-haired medic naively pondered the correct path in which to take while suckling the tip of her well-polished nail.
“I don't want to lose her as a friend. Alex, tutor me on what it is I am suposed to be doing. Please?" Acacia pleaded in a low almost broken pitch that cracked with nervousness.
(Yay! I like RPing with you Natsuko, so I would enjoy another RP very soon.)

"It's not that hard, you can start with watching how other people react to each other as practice. I wouldn't get her a lesbian novel but maybe one that has mixed gender pairings. I know a good fantasy book that has het and les pairings in it."Alexander said before he was taken aback at her plea and nervously scratched his right cheek with his right index finger. "I'm not sure how good of a teacher I would be..." he gave her a worried look. "I might make it worse since I have never taught someone to do something like that before."
