Maia recorded Sassolite's desription leaving space for a name and the proceeded to star Tanz and Wolfy as priority, 3 for Tanz, 2 for Wolfy. She looked up to Ares, her look determine, eyes a blaze and stated she wanted to keep tabs on Wolframite. Cadet or not, green as she was in regards to the BMC, she was a super and with Wolfy it was personal, not only that her attack was extremely affective against him. Despite what happened before, she was confident she could hold her own against him.
Her head dipped back down to make another category. Do not approach, research only. It would be for the General-Kings and Queens. She felt productive and for now she was sufficiently distracted from the desire to be out of her fuku and plus a shower.

Leto half-smiled at Ares and nodded in response to her noting that she’d missed a lot this evening. Even without explicitly saying so, she could tell their leader was pissed. She quickly moved closer to the group and sat down, taking in what she had overheard outside and what they were discussing now. She assumed that these people being name-dropped, Tanzanite and Wolframite, were Negaverse agents. She’d only encountered Negas once before, way back at the Halloween Ball, and at the time she didn’t know who or what the hell they were. She mentally stored those named on a list in her mind and winced at the mention of one of her fellow Cadets being killed tonight.
One thing ran through her mind: Holy crap do I ever need more training. Getting killed was not on the top of her list of priorities, that was for damn sure. Neither was allowing her teammates to get their asses handed to them.
Leto looked down at her hand as she pulled her senshi phone out. She immediately started clicking away to follow along with the group as to which Negaverse agents they were talking about. She clicked through pictures of each of the names mentioned, paying particular attention to Tanzanite. She silently wondered to herself why Ares particularly wanted this one. She closed her eyes briefly and took a deep breath. She knew very well that another battle was coming- and it would likely come soon. Was she really ready for that? At this point she was absolutely terrified of what was to come. What if these Negaversers came after her next? Camoflaging sure as hell wasn't going to do much to save her, if she was on her own. She absolutely needed to become closer to her teammates, and remember never to patrol on her own.

Still clicking away at her phone, Birhan kept looking for the others mentioned. The redhaired archer that Maia mentioned had a likely canditate. "One archer in the database, red hair, mentions of upgrading from useless suction-cup arrows to proper metal-tipped ones. Name: Sassolite," she read out.
The idea that it might be rude to be using her mobile during a meeting didn't occur to her. Hopefully any unintentional insult would be lessened by the fact that it was technically research. Birhan was just happy that this kind of stuff was written somewhere so she didn't have to try and keep track of it with her bad memory.
Eventually she looked up to Ares, expression contrite. "Nothing in here about other General-Kings or General-Queens. This might be the first time any senshi have encountered new ones, after Charonite..."
Not that Birhan had any clue what had happened to the original General-King. If someone had mentioned it, she'd since lost that info. All she could remember was that he hadn't been mentioned in any senshi meetings for some time now. Dead? Disappeared? Retired to live in the Bahamas? Birhan didn't much care, except for the fact that the senshi had had information on him and now he was gone, replaced with completely unknown new enemies.
She shrugged, then shot Maia a bright grin at the mention of training. "Excellent, a new victi- er, student!"

Nemesis knew that look on Ares' face - she had seen it often enough to know vaguely what was going on in the parallel senshi's mind. She released a soft sigh, feeling irritated already at Ares' response. Did the senshi have ANY faith in her? Nemesis was beginning to doubt it. If Nemesis did not want to be a part of the BMC, she would not be a part of it, and that was that. So what if she had other loyalties? Would Ares really want someone in her court that would so easily break ties for the next bigger and better thing? Nemesis doubted it, so she thought that the senshi of smoke should promptly shut the ******** up and have a little faith. Nemesis believed in the BMC, she thought they could do something, get further than any other senshi had managed to get in this battle.
"If you start letting yourself get caught up in all the little details, you're going to lose sight of your goal," Nemesis answered with a grimace. Sure, that was a little over-dramatic for the current situation, but it was something she'd like Ares to keep in mind.
"I don't know about you, but the fact that Helios has that sort of power in her... his realm, makes me think we should do anything to help her... him." Nemesis was attached to Pegasus, even if they had been drifting apart lately. Pegasus was her captain, was one of the few senshi that Nemesis had ever come to respect. The only senshi that came on par with Pegasus was Ares, in Nemesis' esteemed opinion. Nemesis trusted Pegasus. "Come up with some brilliant strategy or some s**t, and duke it out on this Elysion place where we have the advantage." It wasn't as simple as that, Nemesis knew it. Of course, she was very well going to act like it was easy as that.
"If you want to pit us against certain Negaversers, I totally want to dibs Tanzanite." It looked like Nemesis really wasn't going to be much help. From time to time it looked like she'd contribute something genuine to the conversation. Her eyes would light up with a thought, and she'd dismiss it herself instead of sharing it with the group. Nemesis was comfortable in her position as a Mercenary, though she very well thought that she deserved more. She had her own little niche, and she wasn't quite expanding out of it.

One useful thing the White Moon senshi had put together was this Negaverse database. Birhan Isat was the window that Ares had into it, lacking her own cellular hook-up to whatever mainframe the others could access. When the name was said, Ares nodded curtly to Maia, encouraging her with her eyes to be certain to record that name. In order to beat the enemy, they had to know who they were going after. “We should verify that,” she added idly, fading immediately back into the listener role.
When Nemesis piped up, Ares looked at her coolly – but she had a point. “Helios is the key then,” she echoed. “I highly doubt he will interact with me. But… Nemesis. You have a relationship with his host, Pegasus.” Duh. “She would talk to you.” Double duh. “If she can give us any information or how the Negaverse got into Elysion, or how we might keep them out… we need you to find out.” Her eyes flickered over to Lyra then. They were both from the same former team, one of the stronger one as far as Ares could tell – prior to the BMC of course, in her opinion. If Nemesis denied her, she would perhaps need to go through Sailor Lyra.
“Nemesis is right,” she said. “Another battle is going to come. We need to make sure the advantage is on our side. We should work with Helios on this, in whatever way we can.” No doubt Helios would be none-too-pleased to have a parallel in her vicinity. This was a private matter that Ares would have to see to herself. Any bargaining or campaigning could not be done by her. She would need one of the others to build that bridge.
Difficult as she was, Ares would need Nemesis. She respected her stubborn zeal, but they would need her cooperation now. They would need her candor.
Her head was pounding, palms sweaty. This had been a good recap, but from here, they would need smaller groups leading up to a major meeting. The Senshi of Smoke closed her eyes. “We should all go home now,” she said quietly. As if to prove her point, Ares slipped the small sheet that had been over her legs off and sat up, fighting the bout of nausea that rattled her. “Scylla, settle the tab?” she murmured quietly.
Two hands squeezed at the side of her makeshift hospital bed-chair. “We survived tonight, but this is not the end of it. No one will patrol tonight who fought today. Take the night off and recuperate.” Ares summoned a smile for the senshi around her. They had failed tonight, but she still felt a pinch of pride, though muted, at their hard work. “Play it safe, senshi. And if you need anything… just ask. Someone.” Though perhaps not me.
Tired, beaten, and blaming herself for the death of a cadet, Sailor Ares followed up with her soldiers for a few more minutes and then slipped out into the darkness to dehenshin and call a cab home. There was much to do, much to learn. The ISS would need to call a meeting. Ares would need to ensure that Nemesis pursued Pegasus for information. All the others, the hit lists, the death arrangements… it weighed on her like a heavy burden.
But alone in the cab, the wounds still burning at her shoulders, Fallon Novette-Naim buried her head in her hands and cried the entire way home.
