Amrita looked thoughtful...perhaps that might help him out, and if he liked it a lot, he could...just always stay in that corner! Maybe she should get both! A Heated blanket AND a heat lamp! That way there'd be no reason for him to leave the corner, right? Well, outside of getting food or something. Hmmm...
"That'd work!" She seemed quite pleased with the idea, so much so that she was pretty ready to climb out of her chair to go to the Pet store. "I'll...I'll do that then! Thank you, Jericho!" There was a little pause, and then she stopped to look at him. "Oh! Uhh...I-if you want, you can come with me...?" She didn't want to be too rude about just up and leaving him, but...she was pretty excited to get a heated corner for DC!
DC's head lifted off of Jericho's shoe with a loud, wide yawn. The cat-sized fire beast climbed onto his paws again, stretching back and then forward before shaking himself and sitting right back down under the chair, waiting to see what would happen next.

Grinning as she liked his idea, Jericho got up from his seat after quickly finishing off the rest of his food.
"Not a problem, and sure I'll come along," he replied. There might be different grades of the lamp and such, but most likely the hotter it was, the better it'd be for the minipet. That was his guess at least. Looking down at the smaller dragon, he suddenly had to wonder if it would ever get as big as the one that had attacked them all.
... It probably wasn't too likely.
"What do you usually feed your Death Charm, by the way?"

Oh, yay! Jericho coming along would probably make this whole thing easier; she didn't know much about heat-generating things. She gave DC an uncomfortably hestitant look before shuffling away, walking on the balls of her feet with slightly raised heels to make the process just a little easier. Not that walking was ever remarkably easy for her! With no immediate danger of death there was no reason for her to move fast, and poor Jericho was stuck with a rather slow walker.
"Feed it?" She parroted, scratching her jaw a little bit. Hmm...what did she feed him, again? "Just...the regular food?" Looking curiously up at him, she had to wonder where that question came from; what ELSE would you feed a pet?

Walking alongside Amrita, Jericho glanced back at the Death Charm while wondering what counted as regular food exactly. It could mean vegetables quite easily and he didn't think that this particular minipet was much of a herbivore.
"Well... like what exactly? Meat? Charred meat would probably be best for him but... that might be tricky for you to get a hold of.." he mused. The dragon was basically going off of his own preferences here. He figured it was safe enough to assume that the smaller fire dragon would have similar tastes to his own.
It sure seemed to like those bat wings quite a bit!

She wasn't quite sure how to elaborate anymore...she didn't really know what else to say!
"J-just...regular kibble? From the store." She gestured to the store they were headed towards; it had some regular brand that pretty much had the necessities but not much else. She clearly put the same amount of thought into her pet food purchases that she put into dressing herself daily; she had a lot of things to think about, and thought processes could be slow and difficult for her on a good day!
"I...wouldn't know where to get charred meat..." Besides, charring meant fire and fire was bad for her; that, and DC usually charred his own food anyway! Food wasn't top on her priority list, so she shuffled right past those displays and to the heating lamps and blankets.
"Which of these, do you think...?"

Frowning as he looked at the store ahead, Jericho didn't seem to like the idea of feeding the Death Charm plain ol'kibble. He supposed that was fine, but it probably wasn't the most preferable thing out there.
"Well... there is regular meat too. If you give it some now and then, it'll probably be happier as well," he nodded as he followed Amrita towards the warming stuffs. Peering at the various ones, he glanced down at the Death Charm, then back at the goods.
"That flame resistant blanket there would probably be good," he pointed, "And... maybe that lamp?"
The heat lamp he referred to wasn't too big or small.

"J-just regular meat? Like...I don't have to char it?" She asked tentatively, almost afraid of the answer. Then, of course, she ammended her statement: "Or...be near it when it gets charred?" This pet was getting more and more stressful to be around...and here everyone else was, just adding to it! Malcolm wanted her to actually touch the creature, and Jericho wanted her to give it charred meat...too much, too much!
Though...maybe a happy DC would leave her alone all the time.
"Do you think...it'd bring too much heat to my room?" She questioned next; her room (rather, the entirety of the undead dorms) was extremely cold. It didn't bother her so much and she didn't necessarily have to worry about her body decomposing (a fun thing to note about the Vetala...once they were in a corpse the decaying process stopped instantly), but she still wasn't a fan of the heat. Usually because heat meant fire.
Before she could worry too much about it though, she spotted DC - who had taken time out of his busy schedule of stalking her - laying under the display for the same heat lamp Jericho was pointing to.
"Sold." She decided instantly, and without skipping a beat she went to pick up one of the heat lamp boxes. "I...I should have gotten a cart or something..." She whined, though it was very much intended on being a mental whine; she still had to get the blanket or pad or whatever!

"Regular meat should be fine still. If you want, you could just toss it in its direction or leave it in the foodbowl," Jericho offered. He had a feeling she'd be nervous about hand feeding it. The dragon was basically trying to think of ways to make both student and minipet happy here.
He didn't get to think about the heat question all too much, as Amrita seemed to have made her mind up pretty quickly. Though, his instinct appeared to be correct that the little guy would enjoy the lamp.
"You could probably keep the lamp and his bed away from your own bed if you're worried about the heat. And you could always turn it off for awhile whenever it starts getting too warm in the room," he added with a nod, "And uh.. I could help you carry things if you need it."
The girl was considerably smaller than himself and all, so he imagined that she may have a bit of trouble with carrying the goods soon.

Just throw it? She could do that.
"I...I can do that." She said thoughtfully; apparently throwing it didn't occur to her! There was a nod to the rest of his suggestions, and soon she beamed up at him, as wide of a smile as a half-mouth could provide. "Y-You're very smart!" The little Undead commented happily, hugging the heat lamp box to her chest. The box was luckily small enough to not cause too many problems...yet.
"C-could you get that for me...?" She asked softly, tentatively, while nodding to the boxes of heating blankets; sure he offered, but she was still a little shy on taking him up on the offer.
"Is there...anything else, you think?" Mostly because she didn't want to have to come back if something else was thought up later. Of course, she was asking this as she headed to the cashier, not even bothering to call her curled up pet away from the heating lamps.

Looking to where Amrita was motioning to, Jericho made his way over and grabbed one of the heated blankets for her. There didn't seem to be much of a difference in the flame resistant ones, so he just grabbed one at random more or less. Once he had that, he went on towards the register where the little undead girl was headed as well.
"Hm.. this should be good for now I think," he grinned, "I can't really come up with anything else that might help you out here."
"But if you need more help with Death Charm, just let me know later on ok?" the dragon offered.

"Y-You've been a great help!" She beamed up at him again, letting the Monster Cashier ring everything through. Before she started to pay, she fished her eyePhone out of it's hiding place on her person, offering it out to him. "C-can I have your number, then? Just in case?" When it came to handling DC, she'd definitely be needing his help again. She was sure of it.
Once she paid for DC's new accessories, she held onto the bag she was given, staring up at the much taller boil, both waiting for her phone back and waiting to see if this was goodbye for the day; at least now she was actually looking at him!

Once at the counter, Jericho set the blanket onto it so the cashier could ring it up.
"Hm? Oh! Sure," grinned the dragon as he took her eyePhone and entered his number. Just so he'd have hers as well, he went on to call himself. Within the next moment or so, he heard his own phone ring, in which he quickly ended the call.
"Alright there we go," he said as he handed her eyePhone back, "Well, if you need any more help, just let me know ok? Thanks for lunch by the way."

She watched him curiously as he exchanged their numbers, and once the eyePhone was back in her hand it went right back into its hiding place on her person. He really was a nice boil, wasn't he? Answering her questions, helping her with DC...He had yet to spew fire in front of her (that she had noticed, anyway), and thus wrote off the whole being-a-fire-dragon thing.
"I will." Amrita assured him in a very serious tone, before smiling shyly at him again. "You're welcome...Thank you again for, uhm, saving me." It meant a lot to her; blasting into FEAR particles or being left behind in Christmas did not sound appealing at all.
"W-well, I'll see you later, then?" Now that she had bags it was much easier for her to carry them (or drag them, if need be), and she didn't really want to put him out anymore than he already had. She'd just...wander for a bit before going home, so he wouldn't feel the need to go out of his way anymore for her. Today, at least.
