Was standing here all along.  Ian GuaritoreOnce Cece had calmed down completely and was quiet, Ian let go of her hands, got off of her and then placed her arms back by her sides. He let out a sigh of relief as he began to turn toward Gabriel, Melleney, and Dema. "I honestly have no idea what she was seeing,...but whatever it was bad enough to scare her that much..." he said with his faced filled with worry about Cecilia. He absolutely hated to see her in pain like that.....Once Dema fell, Ian ran over to her and began to look at her wounds. "Its ok, I'm sure whatever it was, it was an accident." he told her looking at all the blood. He couldn't be mad at he right now, even if he wanted to be for attacking Cecilia.
"Gabriel can you move her for me?" Ian asked looking over his shoulder at Gabriel. Gabriel nodded and carfully moved Dema over to one of the beds. He tried to do it without it hurting to much....but judging by the cuts, it must have hurt anyway. "Alright, Dema I'll help you out now." Ian said rolling up his sleeves and then placing his hands on her arms. He focused his power to work faster then he usually would. After the cuts on her arms were gone he just continued with the other cuts until they were all healed. "Now, usually I wouldn't pry into someones private life, but could you explain to me what just happened and why you are so badly scarred?" Ian asked looking over to the sleeping Cecilia and then back at the scars on Demas body. He didn't see the one on her back however. And I will take

"One heck of a power, huh?" Dema said, laying on the bed, grateful that he had missed the wound on her back. It stung terribly but she hid it well. "It's just what I do. I can make people see their very worst fear. They're trapped in a powerful illusion. No harm comes to them physically, but it's one heck of a mental battle to be in there," she explained as best she could. She thought hard for a moment about what to say about her own scars. 'If anyone dares get that close, they'll see what you really are,' the words taunted her from within her mind. "They're from a long time ago," she said unhelpfully.

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore So you put her through her worst fears?!....Oh poor Cecilia, I have a bad feeling that she saw people hating or hurting her...... He thought as his expression became more sad. That certainly is a strange power.....he felt bad for both Cecilia for have to go through it and Dema for having to have it. It must be terrible on both ends of it....."Do you have any idea what Cecilia saw?" he asked Dema with concern in his voice. He didn't know how Cece would react when she wakes up and if she saw something to bad, she might do something reckless.....he was honestly worried. Ian let her answer about her scars pass since she obviously didn't want to talk about it and it truely wasn't any of his buisness...... And I will take

"I can check. That won't hurt her at all. The most anyone feels is a shiver down their spine or like someone is watching them," she said as she took a deep breath and felt out what Cece was afraid of. "Something with rejection or being unwanted," Dema said after a moment. She could only get vague ideas. "That's the best I can get. I'm not actually in their fears unless they put me there, and that would only be an illusion."

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore Ian let out a sigh. "Damn why must I always be right..." he said out loud, though it was more ment to be an inner thought. "She has always been afraid of how people veiwed her....I've been trying my best to help her fight that fear and get closer to people but I guess its not working as well as I had hoped......Well thanks for telling me." He told Dema as he walked back over to Cecilia and placed his hand over where he injected the needle. He knew it must hurt so he used his power on it. "Oh and that reminds me for some reason..." he said turning to Gabriel. "You need to learn to not be so rough with girls. You should never put your hands on a girl, under any circumstances." He nagged at Gabriel. Gabriel had sat in Ian's desk chair after he put Dema down. He figured it would be best to get out of the way. He watched Ian heal her and then go heal Cecilia. "Yeah, yeah. It's not the first time I've been told that. I really don't need to hear it from you too." he said a little annoyed. "I just did what I knew would be most affective....It worked right? So I don't see a problem." he said to Ian and then looking over at Dema. Knowing how Dema usually gets hurt from work, a small slap to the face wouldn't really even hurt her that much....though looking at her now he sort of feels bad. "Um....yeah, I'm sorry I hit you Dema....." And I will take

"People's fears are hard to change. The worse the fear, the harder it is to change. You may have helped suppress it, but you probably can't change it. Whatever progress you'd made probably was just undone with more damage than it began with anyways," Dema said. It was unfortunate, but true. "And don't worry, you're not the first person to hit me," she said, only realizing exactly what she had said a moment later. She made no attempt to lie though. There was no point to it. Covering it up would only make the statement seem more suspicious.

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore Well I guess I'll just have to start from scratch then." Ian said trying not to let it get to him. He looked at Cecilia and put a smile back on his face. "Who knows maybe I can make the impossible, possible." He said with some confidence. He wanted to believe he could save Cecilia from her fears even if he can't. Gabriel's eye brow raised a bit to her comment. She has been hit before?....I guess she must have used her power like that on people before.... he thought to himself...trying to convince himself not to think about it more. He knew that was more than likely the wrong answer but he knows better then to make people remember and talk about what they want to for get. "I guess you just need to be careful on controlling your power next time, so you won't have to be smacked awake." he told her with a shrug as if to rub off the subject. And I will take

Dema shrugged, wincing as her back screamed. She forgot that it had not been healed for a moment once the stinging had subsided to throbbing. "Reaction. Can't really change it much," she said. She was actually happy to have been slapped awake. It was better than driving Cece crazy. She would never have been able to live with herself if that had happened.

He walked over to her and was about to fully check her. "I'm not going to force you to tell me things that you don't want to, about yourself or personal things, but when your hurt you have to tell me." he said with a mixture of a little anger, from her hiding pain, and sadness, for not noticing it earlier, in his voice. "You don't need to worry bout it," Dema replied, again careful not to lie. She did not want to accidentally do to him what she had done to his sister. If she moved however, she knew there would be blood left behind that had soaked through the shirt. She had been so careful to hide it from everyone, well except the EMTs that had found her and the doctors that had treated it. Nobody else had ever known ans she was hoping to keep it that way. There very well could have been a touch of panic in her eyes.

Was standing here all along. Ian Guaritore "If your hurt then, yes I do have to worry about it." Ian said getting a little mad at her stubbornness. Usually Ian is nice and weak willed with things but when it comes to his job. he isn't so quick to back down on his opinions. He walked close to her and was about to force her to move alittle, so he could figured out where she was hurt and fix the problem....but then he heard a small groan come from Cecilia. Cecilia moved a little on his bed before opening her eyes and sitting up. She instantly began crying loudly, as if she had woken up from a nightmare....and technically it was her worst one. "IAAAAAAAAN!" She whined out loud for him. He quickly made his way over to her, sat next to her on the bed, and wiped away some of her tears. "It's ok Cecilia, it was only a bad dream. I'm hear and no one is gonna hurt you." he said trying to calm her down. He figured it would be best not to mention it was Dema's power so Cecilia wouldn't fear Dema more then she already does. Cecilia quickly grabbed onto him and cried into his shirt. She didn't say anything but held him tightly. He was actually there and was caring for her....it was only a nightmare she was so relieved but still so scared...she really didn't even know what to say. With Cece like this, Ian couldn't exactly help, or force help on Dema at the moment. He patted Cece on the head trying to comfort her and then looked over to Dema. "For now your off the hook on this one." he told her and then turned over to Gabriel. "Can you grab ber some bandages, peroxide, and a shirt from my dresser?" he asked, since he couldn't do it himself. He figured she could close the curtain and treat herself at least. And I will take

But here we are, we're here tonight.  Gabriel Radieră "Sure." Gabriel said as he fished around the different Cabinets and pulled out the peroxide and a roll of bandages. He then walked over to the dress beside Ian's bed and grabbed a shirt out of it. He walked them over to Dema and placed them on the bed, on top of her lap and then closed the curtain. Gabriel could pretty much guess thats what Ian wanted him to do. Plus Dema could easily talk to Ian from behind the curtain if she pleased, so it wasn't going to close it while they spoke. And in the air the fireflies

Dema Physically sighed in relief. Nothing could be worse than having someone see that. Well, actually making it had been, but she would never be able to stand herself if anyone saw that. took the supplies Gabriel had placed on her lap and quickly took off the first shirt Ian had lent her and cleaned the wounds as best she could. The bandages went on haphazardly, but she did not care. Usually she did not even do that much to them. She put on the second shirt and opened the curtains back up. "Sorry about having to borrow so many shirts," she said, not bothering to hide the bloody mark that her back had left on the bed. If he knew she was injured, hiding how badly would do nothing.

He was to busy with Cece and had a feeling he would not only flip but he would have Gabriel hold her down as he healed whatever the wound was, if he looked at her. "I have before," Dema replied simply. She hated it, but she had recovered before and would again. She could not help but feel that Ian was angry with her though. "Don't be upset about it, please. Soon it'll just be a bad memory again," she said, not being careful enough with her words. For some reason that little saying from when she was young popped into her head. 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.' She decided whoever came up with that was smoking something strong.
