In what would appear to be a measure of payback for having the boots put to him earlier, Draze began methodically picking apart Major Devastation's limbs with the Garvin Stomp, a move made famous by former NWA World Heavyweight Champion "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin.

Awwww, how nice...after stomping the hell out of Major Devastation, Draze went and helped the Marine up to his feet (even if only to not have to drag dead weight up to the stage). In order to conserve some energy, Devastation went along for the ride...but once Draze went for the box, Major D. would try to slip behind him and play through the pain to go for a German Suplex. If successful, the big Texan would attempt to start hog tying The Dragon's Haze with the bullrope!

Dammit! Major Devastation's suplex attempt was blocked...and to make matters worse, he was now being peppered with elbows! The elbow strikes were enough to get him to relinquish the rear waistlock and back up a couple of steps, but the Marine would quickly get back to work and attempt to deliver an axe handle smash to Draze's back. If successful, he would try to follow up by ramming his opponent's skull into the steel box containing EGW's top prize!

What was potentially about to happen would likely not feel very good for either competitor, but if it meant possibly putting an end to this and becoming the inaugural EGW Champion, then it would be well worth a little pain. Major Devastation would try to guide Draze back up to his feet and use his right arm to secure a front facelock while simultaneously trying to hook his left leg with the other. If successful, the Master of Disaster would attempt to lift his opponent straight up and twist him so that Draze was facing him before trying to sit out and drive The Dragon's Haze skull first into the ramp with The Devastator!

Looks like things weren't going quite the way that Major Devastation planned, since he ended up getting raked in the eyes before he could set up The Devastator. With his vision compromised, all he could really do at this point was attempt to neutralize Draze while he recovered by promptly going for a swift kick below the belt.

And with Draze neutered...er, neutralized (yeah, that's the ticket) for the time being, Major Devastation could focus on getting his vision cleared up so he could get back to completing his prime objective...becoming the first man to hold the EGW Championship. He would rub his eyes and start blinking furiously in an effort to see straight again, and try to catch a quick breather in the process.

Once Devastation's vision had cleared up sufficiently, he would look to return the favor for the Garvin Stomp earlier by serving up one of his own.

After methodically picking Draze apart, limb by limb, Major Devastation would try to roll his opponent over and attempt to start hog tying him with the bull rope!
