"It was good. It was very nice of you to bake," Jericho called from the bathroom,"Don't be sorry. Its not your fault." He sighed and unlocked the door. Of all things to say after that...the cake was definately not one of the top things Jericho would have thought of. Did he take that little time to realize he didn't digest food? He had been hoping to let that slide...

Ryo gave a little smile. "Thats good. So how long have you been alive for?" He was a little curious to know, just like a cat.

"I was alive for seventeen years," He replied, slipping out of the bathroom,"I have been dead for longer than I can count...or bothered to." He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

Jericho couldn't help but flash a grin in responce to that. He had never seen someone so naive as Ryo clearly was. The guy didn't even care that he was dead for crying out loud! "Yeah," he agreed,"I guess I do. Thanks."

Jericho sighed,"Cold. Always cold. Here I'll show you." He stood up and went to the sink. Then he turned it on and put one finger in the water and watched as it froze over instantly.

Ryo's hands were warm, he slowly reaches over to him and touches his hand. "Why do you go to school then?"

"Nowhere else to go. I was tired of living alone in the woods," he replied, smiling when Ryo touched his hand. He didn't remember the last time he had felt warmth. "Thanks."

He nodded, fighting off the sudden urge to hug Ryo. He had never been a hugger...not even in life. What on earth was wrong with him? He was getting emotional. How did that work to be more emotional in death than life? Didn't that defy physics? Of course...everything about him defied physics? What could one more thing do? "You don't seem like the person who would like to be alone," he agreed,"That isn't a bad thing." He shrugged, lightly squeezed Ryo's hand, and pulled his back.

Ryo smiles and looks down. "It would be nice for a while, but I would want someone to talk to. I like peace and quiet but i dont like very long silence..." He blushes feeling his hand get squeezed a little and looks over at Jericho.

Jericho nodded, pushing his concerns to the side. "The quiet was nice for awhile," he confessed, slipping his gloves back on,"Don't go so far north though if thats what you want to try out." He didn't know how he was 'alive' or if everyone who died there came back to 'life'. He certainly wasnt advertising going there. "Where are you from?" He asked hesitantly, moments later.

Ryo looks over at him. "Well, I was born and raised in Tokyo, then later I moved here. So I'm from Japan, but I speak English..."
