Freak follows after Fusion, and tries grabbing onto his head with both hands. If allowed, he'd force his opponent face first into the top ring rope! Aiming to rub his wounded forehead into another part of the ring, this time the thinly wrapped cables that made the ropes.

Freak was on the constant offensive, as Nuke's face was rubbed against the ring rope. He screamed out in pain, as he aimed a retaliatory series of elbow shots back towards the general direction of Freakshow.
Anything at all to stop these relentless attacks, he was ready to do.

"Oooff-!" An elbow manages to catch Freakshow in the ribs! He keels over, gasping for air.. Wanting to get some room between himself and Nuke while he was momentarily stunned, Freak pivots on a foot to begin stumbling away from Nuke, still doubled over, it was sort of a half crawl.

Checking behind him, Fusion saw that he had Freakshow recoiling. Turning around, he was thankful for the space between them. The ref checked over both men, making sure nothing illegal had occured; by now, the blood coming from the forehead of Nuke was still flowing. But, using his arm band as a 'head' band (of sorts), Nuke was able to stem the flow temporarily.

Freak puts a knee on the ground, anchoring himself in the middle of the ring for a moment. Gradually getting some air back inside him, he got back to his feet, and, back turned to Nuke, walked towards the opposite side of the ring, trying to walk off the pain. He did this assuming Fusion was in no state to capitalize should Freak decide to take a small break.

Although Freak had assumed that Nuke was in no state to attack him, it's really something that you shouldn't assume, when thinking about either of these tenacious competitors. Head band now in place, Fusion walked forward, and tried to get on the blind side of his opponent. Without the ref seeing, Nuke reached in to his pocket and slid on his brass knuckles, before slapping Freak on the back. He would get his attention and .. well, you may be able to tell he was aiming to take him out with a hard shot to the head.

Freak, elbows rested on the ropes, smirks to himself, unaware of Nuke coming up from behind him.. He's startled by a slap to the back, and quickly spins around, only to be nailed with a brassknuckles shot! He falls backwards, with no control of his limp body, he tumbles through the middle rope, to the outside of the ring.. While nobody saw it yet, he was cut above the eyebrow.

It now seemed like the odds were even, as Nuke discreetly threw the brass knuckles to the side. Looking over the top rope, he decided to give himself a quick breather.
The ref started his 10 count.

Freak rolls over to his back and the fans let out a small pop! Glad to see both hated wrestlers bleeding so early into the match! A growing streak of red ran down his face as he reached for the ring banner to slowly pull himself to a seated position.

Sporting quite the gusher, Freak leans, his chest against the side of the ring, head rested on the edges. He's breathing heavily, the fans are getting rather pumped up as the ref continues counting. He'd gotten to five by now..
Six...
Seven..
He straightens up into a standing position, his legs where a bit shaky still. The audience half wants Freak to stay out so he'll lose, and half wants him to roll in for a further beating..
Eight..
Nine...
Finally Freak manages to pulls himself in at the last second! At the spot where he'd been resting his head, a small, but still quite noticeable splotch of blood had accumulated. He rolls onto his stomach, it had started to get into his bleached hair, staining it a light red..

Nuke immediately went to roll Freak in to the center of the ring, and hook his leg for a pinfall attempt!
As the saying goes, there's no rest for the wicked.

Grinning, Fusion rolled to his feet, and went to grab Freak by his hair. He would then rain down a series of blows upon the cut part of his head.

The punches all connect on target, drawing even more blood. At first Freak squirms and flails a bit, but with each punch his actions become more sluggish, until his arms are limp at his sides, his cut exposed for the punchin'. His eyes are glazed over, either from being knocked out, or because he didn't wanna get blood in his eyes.
