And still, there she remains...
As soon as Raven had got what she considered to be a good distance from the area where they had encountered the shadow wolves she tilted her head back and howled. It was a long low howl, beautiful and filled with sadness. She had seen the look in the red wolf's eyes when they had been playing their game. It was like the other wolf had been so exited about having a wolf from another pack to run with, about being out of Shadow Clans dead land. She let her howl slowly get softer until it finally ended and lay down on the cool grass underneath her.
"I understand that you want to get out but you're doing it the wrong way. A war with the original clans will not end well." Raven's voice was soft as she rested her head on her paws, sliding her eyes closed. She didn't want to be alone at the moment but she also didn't have the energy to move. The encounter with the other wolves had not worn her out physically but it had hit her emotionally and mentally. She started to drift into a light sleep, not caring that she was still out in open land where anyone could attack her.

Hiro walked over and lay down next to her nuzzling her before saying "One day we will be able to reside in the lands of light I will keep my promise to you my Alphess."

Bullet pawed at the dry dirty in front of her. Her eyes drifted back to the twilight land. Gazing at its beauty her eyes focused on the barrier. With a heavy sigh she stood up and turned away from it.
Taking a few steps Bullet stopped to watch Hiro. If it wasn't for him she'd have given up hope of seeing light long ago. She took in a deep breath and wished there was something fun to do.

Hiro saw that she was sad and looked down before looking up and walking over to her he said "Lets go back to the woods...there is a place in there I want to show you." he began to walk looking back to make sure she was following him.

"oh really now?" a smile formed across her maw. "I want to see!" her tail slowly twiched back and forth. Bullet quickly went to walk at Hiro's side.

Hiro took her to a place in the forest where the sun shone down onto a small grotto with a waterfall and small pond on the bottom of it. All around life could be seen with beautiful flowers and butterflies and many other colorfull insects flying about. He looks back and says "This place I have been meaning to show you and now would be the perfect time."

Stepping into the light hurt her eyes and she yelled back into the trees shadows. She looked out to this wonderful place Hiro had brought her too. Her eyes moved from place to place as she came through the trees slowly and soaked in he sun. The light felt warm and quickly her thick fur started to make her too warm.
"surely there are other who know of this place," she spoke in a whisper as she felt this was too beautiful and wonderful for no one else to know of. With the sun beating on her pelt dark shadows began running from her fur to hide in the trees. As the shadows left her her fur lightened in color and density. All of a sudden she bolted for the clear blue waters under the falls, how long it had been for her to step into clean waters.

Hiro looked at her and said "No one else knows of this place because I have been hiding it in shadows. No one steps into a place they think is filled with shadows." he took a step into the light and as he did his red eyes turned blue and his darkness seemed to disappear however his fur was still black. He looked at her and said "This was the place I was born as a pup of shadow."

Bullet watched in amazment as Hiro's shadows pulled away from him. Somehow he did not look as crule, yet still he was a very scary wolf. The light had lifted her spirits and she was surprised he had kept it hidden this long. Bullet moved through the water. "Born of shadows, yet in such a wonderfully light place.. Its so much warmer here than I am use to in the shadows."
In the back of her head she felt something wasn't right, she felt it was to good to be true, and her face showed it. Walking out of the cool water she laid down on the bank, letting the light rays dry her coat.

Hiro looked up to the sun and said "This place is fueled by magic..the same magic that created the packs in the first place." he took a step on the water and did not go in but instead was walking across it as if it was ground not making a ripple on the water. He sat in the center and let out a howl. The howl made one single ripple fly across the water and suddenly there was an image of two large wolves one was a female with black fur and she was laying on the ground in pain with a big belly. Next to her was a male twice as big with fiery red eyes and he was nuzzling her as he whined and breathed heavy.
Hiro looked to Bullet and said "These are my parents...and this is my birth..."

Bullet was shocked as he stepped across the waters and stunned as the image of his parents formed. She didnt understand what was happening but knew he would explain. she watched him carefully

Hiro looked down and said "This is when I was being born..." and as he said that his mother started to howl and that was when the baby popped out. Hiro was laying there as a baby and his mother was not moving and was not breathing but neither was Hiro. His father looked to his son and howled angrily to the sky saying "This should not have happened! Please help me gods!" his voice was one of pure strength and anger which matched his looks perfectly and that is when a wolf made purley of shadow appeared on the ground and a wolf purley made of light appeared next to it.
The wolf of shadow looked to the boy and said "To bad for the little weakling..." but the wolf of light took a look and said "I can help you by giving him light so that he may live..." and with the the wolf walked over and breathed into Hiro's face and instantly light filled his body and he was alive breathing and looking around scared. The wolf of shadow growled and said "I will give him the power of shadow but at the cost of your life..." and with the the wolf of shadow shoved its paw through Hiro's dads chest and removed some kind of ball of energy. This was Hiro's dads power and with it the shadow wolf placed it on top of Hiro's head allowing it to sink in. Hiro suddenly grew very large for a newborn and his eyes turned dark red. The shadow wolf smiled and said "What makes you deserve my power wolf!" and Hiro not even thinking went straight for the wolves neck snapping and growling violently.
The wolf smacked him away and said "I like the visciousness that your father has given you...very well." and with that Hiro started writhing in pain as shadows swirled around him and started to form into his body. He roared from the pain and stood up on two legs for only a moment before falling back down and gaining huge muscle mass. The shadow wolf was weak now as he had not imagined that the pup would actually start sucking away at his powers like a spounge but it made him smile as he said "Soon you will make a excellent war machine." but the wolf of light gave a angry face at the mention of war and said "You will not give this pup the chance to love and to care but I will..." and with that she let her power explode outward which made all the trees and flowers spring to life and the area where his mother and fathers bodies were was instead transformed into a waterfall with a small statue of two wolves on the top.
Hiro twisted and turned as light shone down on him and for a moment his eyes turned blue and the darkness slunk away. He looked around then up to the two deities and said "Who am I..." and the two looked to him and said "You are Hiro as your mother wanted to call you and now you choose your path and remember that the dark is not evil and the light is never always good..." and with that they disappeared leaving Hiro to himself.
The vision ended and Hiro stood there looking into the water before looking up to Bullet saying "That is why this place is what is it and I the way I am..."

Bullet was stunned and didnt know what to say. She was utterly confused on what had happened and how it happened. Not recalling that she sat down she stood and her body went into defense mode. Watching Hiro as she moved to him, Bullet was unsure what else he could do.
Her eyes glanced around to area and took in the beautiful sight that once held so much power. "How long ago was that?" Bullet had always wondered how much older he was, but now that he never had a childhood she was even more clueless to his true age. Bullet moved through the area sniffing around trying to see what she could find, she was still in a defense mode with her head down and constantly focusing on Hiro.
It was hard for her to believe what he was telling her, but she had seen it happen with her own eyes. Unless he was just so powerful that he could conjure something like that.

Hiro looked to her and said "I was born at the time these lands were created...when the first of the gods had come here to create the lands." he looked at her with his blue eyes and said "I was born at the very end of the time of normal wolves when wolves had very little power before each wolf actually had only one element..." his voice was full of sorrow and his eyes now showed just how much wisdom he had.
He looked to her and said "I was truly the first of the wolves of shadow but i was bestowed the powers of light which take over when I go into sunlight." he looked directly into the sun something shadow wolves normally wouldnt have been able to do as he said "I have come in search of you...for you are the princess of shadows born from the god of shadows himself the wolf who gave me what power I have..." he looks to her with a gentle expression saying "Please dont think im dangerous I am here to serve you and when the great war comes I am here to die for you..."

Hiro's words tab through her head but it didn't seem to sink in just yet. She took a step back from him but didn't relies she was doing so. "princess of shadows? But I don't want to be forever in the shadows!" she was starting to panic and her voice showed it. She looked up to the sun like Hiro had and it burned her eyes. Shadows rushed to her and she folded them around her like a comforting blanket. Her shadows pulled her into the darkness of the trees were sun couldn't force them away from her.
" I don't want to live in shadows all my life," being born of the shadow god made sense, her puppyhood was not as good as it could have been. "why have you come in search of me? What could I do that you can't?" power pulsed through her skin as the shadows grew and started coveringthe trees around her, though they never crept onto the sun lit ground infront of her.
