With a sudden swell of pride, Lenore made a breeze rattle the windows inside the room on a whim. Grinning, she cocked an eyebrow at Dei.
"I'm gettin' really strong with Air, too. I could help give us a little bit of lift," She said slyly. The breeze grew stronger and unnaturally directed, blowing across the room and lifting loose items around in a mad whirlwind before settling back down, scattered around the floor.

Deimos felt the wind and looked around, watching the items fly around, admiration shining in his eyes. "Awesome.. This will help so much! My Air pwoers aren't much at all, but I've been getting much better with my fire!" He said, well, he hoped.

Puffing out her skinny chest with pleasure at Dei's response, Len nodded eagerly.
"Really? What can you do? Mum's brother - Julian, I don't think you ever met 'im - he can do fire stuff too. Probably not even half as good as you, though."
The compliment sounded a little brown-nosing, but she meant it. In her eyes, Dei could do no wrong. Anything he could do that was special had to be incredible.

Deimos smirked widely. He looked around, spottting an unlit candle on a distant table. "Watch this.. I've been practicing.." Pointing his finger at the candle a spark emerged and fire flared on the wick. Closing his finst, the fire vanished.. He was rather proud of his ability.

"Cool!"
Deeply impressed, and wanting to impress him even more, Len willed the breeze back to life. The air current picked up the candle and made it spin in midair, then snap in half with a loud crack. Pleased with the destructive force of her power, she willed the air to set the candle down gently back onto the table.
"I'm really good at breaking stuff with it," she said happily. "All I have to do is think of what I want the air to do, and it does it."

"I can.. burn thuff.. and melt things.." He said, chuckling. Watching Lenore and her abilities, he felt more motivated to practice and train. To be stronger.
"Put out that fire, Deimos!" Phobos chirped, repeating something he ead heard Jizzy shoutone day.

Snerking at Phobos, Len shook her head.
"Spoilsport," She said to the little creature jokingly.

Deimos chuckled. It felt nice to just hang out with Len, no Erebus, no nothing.. He smiled at her, just as the clock on the wall went off, indicating the time.. His face fell.. This was the time Jean Claude went out to feed and he felt bad at leaving his mother alone.. Looking back from the clock, he started to stand.. "I have to go.. But.. come to the ship tonight at.." he looked over at the clock again.. "9... I'lol show you all the cool stuff I've found..."
"Bye Bye Pretty Lenore!" Phobos piped up as they left the room, closing the door behind them. Shiny = pretty..

"Okay, then. See you later," Len said, smiling and waving goodbye. She clucked her tongue at Phobos fondly, cocking her head to one side. Charming little creature.

Bergerac was playing. Playing by herself, and quietly, but she was playing. She had both her Ed and Kii plushies with her today, and seemed to be preforming some sort of invisible tea party with them, or at least a gathering of sorts. The girl had the plushies and herself arranged in a triangular fashion, pretending to hold an invisible cup of tea. She had no tea set of her own, and since her father had little inclination to let her use a real tea set, she just had to improvise. Oh well. It meant less clean-up.
Between the middle of pouring a cup of tea, her blue eyes glanced up at Varlen, who was currently sitting in a nearby chair. He was absorbed in one of his spellbooks and was ignoring pretty much everythign at the moment. He was... often like this now. Reading his spellbooks. Of course, Bergerac didn'r know why he was doing it. Her questions only recieved his typical terse responses, if she indeed got one at all. Oh well. Father knew best.
Returning back to her game, her blue eyes flicked briefly towards the door. Had she seen some movement from beyond the doorframe? Perhaps someone was coming in to play as well...

Haze led her young charge down the stairs towards the doors leading outside the HQ and, naturally, the rest of Gaia. The idleness of her days had been getting to Retta and normally she could satisfy the Mishap by bribing her with something. Today, however, proved different. The sheep-child did not wish to be bribed with material objects, she wanted attention.
Haze was no good at giving others her attention unless she was getting something in return. And frankly, satisfaction in raising a child wasn't the sort of reward she intended for. Hence, she felt it would be a good idea to walk her around. Perhaps take a stroll in the garden.
Retta padded beside her guardian, brown eyes staring ahead in some form of anticipation, as if willing the door would zip towards them this instant. They were going to take a good look around outside, and it was to be done just for the sake of looking around.
Of course, as a toddler, Retta's attention span wasn't fully developed. And with only the door leading outside in her sight, it didn't take much for her to glance around. As they walked past the living room, she noticed movement. She paused and backtracked, peering into the room she had first encountered Deimos in.
Her ears wiggled as she bleated softly for Haze to stop. People! Although the small one looked different. Very different.
"Hay-ze." Retta called, shyly hiding behind the doorframe.

Oh! So there was someone. Bergerc blinked, her wrinkled face breaking into an equally shy smile at the girl. Since Daddy was sitting, she couldn't well hide behind him, but this girl didn't seem scary like most other people. In fact, she almost giggled at the thought that the girl seemed as shy as she was.
"Hi," she said softly, waving slightly at the girl. "Who're you?"
Seeing how this girl seemed to be a potential playmate, Bergerac couldn't hel but be friendly. After all, playing by yourself all the time really got a little dull after a while. And Daddy never wanted to play...
Catching Bergerac's form shift out from the corner of his eye, Varlen glanced up, his gaze trailing towards the door as well. Another kid? He let out a small 'tch' noise, crimson gaze immediately dropping back to his book. He wasn't much in the mood for putting up with children at the moment, but if Bergerac wanted to play, let her do as she wished.

What now? Haze rolled her eyes, walking up to the Mishap. When she peered into the living room she couldn't help but take a step back at the sight of Bergerac. By Yrast the child looked old. Or was it really an elderly woman who had gone senile and dressed like a child? She blinked, her gold eyes staring unsurely at the other mishap before her gaze shifted to find Varlen reading a book.
Ah, so she was another Mishap. They certainly did look different from one another.
"Do you wish to make her acquaintance?" Haze asked, knowing she'd rather leave the sheep-child with someone else than bother catering to the toddler's whims.
Retta nodded, biting down nervously on her nails. She waited for Haze to take her outstretched hand and lead her into the living room. She blinked curiously at Bergerac's appearance, never having seen anyone like her. At least not anyone with skin like that who was as small Retta was.
"Hello." She bleated, ears wiggling nervously. She was unsure about the larger person with the book, but he didn't seem to mean any harm if he was just going to sit there and read.

Juice bars were not meant for toddlers. That, however, did not stop Sabriel. After grabbing a stool to stand on, he leaned forward on the counter, turning his head so he could peer under each nozzle and figure out which meant which juice, and - if possible - tapping the button and sticking his tongue out. Anything was good, anything except for the really sugary stuff, which he promptly spat out. Hygiene was for lesser life forms.
Prince was perched over at the far end in memory of the lemonaid incident. Sabriel fixed up a glass of peach-lime-orange and slid it over to him, then got to work on his own glass. Now this was fun.
And where was Chin during this? At an appointment for the baby, which conveniently left him at home. It'd been easy as pie to slip through the portal and wander at will. Sabriel mentally congratulated himself and Prince and took a sip of juice, pleased with himself and the world right now.

"Two headed boy, all floating in glass, the sun it has passed, now it's blacker than black, I can hear as you tap on your jar-"
Lenore was on cloud nine, singing at the top of her voice and skipping in a truly uncharacteristic show of happiness. The ivory rose pendant Osso had given her swung on its chain, bouncing against her chest as she moved. Laughing interrupted the words of her song, and she repeated and giggled as she twirled through the hall.
Osso liked her. She liked him, and he liked her, and nothing, nothing was going to put a damper on her good mood -
She twirled into a random room and stopped dead, the words flattening into a groan.
Sabriel.
Cat.
"....Hey."
