Deimos face was stuck in a grin as he steered the ship by the banks. He.. This was better than sailing.. He looked around him onto the ice and made a daring move, steering towards the ice. She could hover over it now, right.

"Ack! DON'T!!!!" Birvan had to quickly take the helm and steer Dawn back over the water before it was too late
With a quick push of buttons the ship returned to tis original self and entered the water once more
"I said she can only hover over water! She'd crash and break herself in half!!!"

Deimos was shaken. He looked out onto the ice.. SO she could only hover over water then.. Well there went that idea. "It's a shame.. I was hoping to see more of the lake, but this ice.." He sighed. He hated having to wait.

"Nature is fussy like that. But you can take that time to know her better. That way you'll be fully able to explore the lake when Spring comes" he winked
Birvan took an odd watch from one of the pockets. There were little spheres floating about like small planets. Apparently it made sense to him because he stored it back after a little while
"My break is almost over. I can only show you the cannons before dashing off and let you discover the rest"

Well, cannons may compensate for that. "SUre, let's see these cannons." He said, turning to Birvan. The Dawn ahd so many things he didn't know about, he was feeling a tad overwhelmed.

Birvan proceeded to the lower deck and pulled a lamp hanging from the ceilling. Immediatly several hidden panels opened and the cannons rised from them
"They can't shoot real cannonballs, Jabir would kill me if they did. Actually she doesn't have any real offensive power"
He proceeds to the nearest cannon and pulls a lever close to it. The back opens and shows several coloured sacks stored inside it
"You'll need to empty them everytime before shooting. These..." he grabs one of the sacks and shows it to Deimos "... are filled with tricks. Some with nets, others with sneezing powder, sleeping gas, etc. And there's even a few that will cause odd effects like jumping uncontrolably for example. None lasts more than 15 minutes though"

A malevolent smirk had overtaken Deimos previous dissapointed face. "Wonderful.." He said, mischief shining in his eyes. "The Dawn really does have it all.." He said, moving to one of the bags and examining it. Sleeping Powder.. He'd have to borrow some of this stuff next time he had trouble sleeping then..

"Can I ask you favour? Don't tell any of the adults I've been here... specially Jabir and Maggie" his expression turned from cheerful to serious in a split second

Deimos smirked up at Birvan and held a clawed finger up to his lips. "I won't tell.." He said. He wouldn't. If he did, Jabir and Maggie may start asking question about the Dawn and well, he didn't want that, now did he..

Birvan smiled back in reply "Thank you. And here's a little something"
He pressed a specific board with one of the feet and another hidden panel slidded open behind Deimos, revealing a full wardrobe with pirate suits and weapons of all shapes and sizes The weapons weren't real ones ones but looked extremely realistic. And if one 'dived' within the depts of that secret space, would easily find more equipment and even a treasure chest
But if Deimos looked back at Birvan he wasn't there anymore, or in any other place inside the ship. He had vanished without a trace

Deimos had opened his mouth to say something but he trailed off at the sight of the closet. PIRATE CLOTHES! Lunging into it he began to loook around, specifially for a .. "HAT!" He exclaimed, placing the traingular lleather hat onto his head. Yes. The Dawn did have everything..

Another visit, another meeting
Again Birvan found himself wandering around the grounds. Strange how after being absent for so many years he was coming more and more often to the HQ
He stoped near the lake and sat by one of the trees, enjoying the view of the first signs of Spring

Ike leaped from branch to branch, crashing through the trees and sounding distinctly like someone had set an elephant loose. He grinned against William's frenzied yelps of discomfort and continued on his wild escapade.
He bent backward, compressing like a spring before...oh, no. That wouldn't be a good idea. He may be part squirrel, but no part of him was flying squirrel...and he certainly would not make that gap.
He sat on a low branch, panting and laughing slightly.
You could have killed me!
"You're...you're already dead. Heh."
