"Yep. I obviously couldn't live as long as him. He's been passed down through my family for a very long time. He sticks with one person until they're too old then he'll choose a new member. The last time it was me. It's actually worrying me a little because I'm the youngest in my family at the moment. Unless me or Uncle Baxter have kids soon, Gairbith will have no one to go to. Till then it looks like you're stuck with me old man..." He smiled up at the dragon, laughing softly.
"Yes... The company is good at least." The old dragon slowly stood himself up, careful not to knock anyone over. His 75' long wings streached upwards, a deep purr rummbling in his chest was enough to feel through the ground.
Salem slid to his feet as the dragon stood himself. "Yeah... Hm?" He blinked as the little wasp mishap spoke up. "Oh, I'm fine. Just need a little water. Not used to talking this much. Made my throat dry. Well, if there's no questions you guys are free to go. Make sure you're not late!"

They tiny wasp mishap sat there in her wagon, finishing the rest of her notes. Looking back up at Salem she then pointed at the cooler next to her. "Mama made you lunch and brought water and my medicine." She grinned. Blinking at the dragon for a moment, she took a second to think. " ... Where do most kinds of dragons live? I know Red dragons like to live in volcanos because they are immuned to fire.. but what about the others?"

He laughed softly, opening the cooler and getting out the lunch that had been made for him and starting to eat. "Tell your mother I said thank you. Heh. Don't jump the gun now. We'll keep going with the lesson after brake. I'm going to go over the different kinds of dragons next. That includes where they live and what they're like." He spoke softly to the tiny one, the tip of his tail twitching lightly.

Upon the announcement of break, Deimos scurried off. He was looking forward to taking some giant grapes from the garden as a snack. Grinning slyly he slunk off, his stomach rumbling slightly..

As Deimos scurried off, Rex glanced around him looking for something - anything to attach his attention to while break commenced. The boy looked down at his extremely short notes and snapped his notebook shut. He'll copy the rest later, from someone else.
Meanwhile, King narrowed an eye up at Gairbirth. Huh. How can anyone, except Jabir, be bigger than him? Without further delay, a rumble started from within the tyrannosaur and developed into a throaty growl soon after.

Salem smiled slightly as he saw Daimos go off by himself then blinked as he heard a growl. Oh... He hoped King didn't frizz up too badly at his friend. He kept his eye on the twins as he continued eating quietly.
The huge dragon looked down at the small growling one with his only good eye. Gently rumbling back. He slowly brought his head down to lightly sniff at the dinosaur half of the twin. The dragon seemed friendly enough, but whether that could keep him from getting snapped at by King was a different story.

Aphrodite sighed, resting inside the wagon, looking up at the swirling clouds she took a moment to think. "Salem, the cloud looks like a duck."

Salem blinked up at the sky, smiling as he spotted the cloud. "Yeah it kinda does..." He was only half paying attention at this moment however. He was still a little worried about how King would react to Gairbith getting that close. He was sure that there was no way the little t-rex could hurt the dragon, but he didn't want anything to go wrong either.

King's growl was cut short as Gairbirth's large head came up close, then the sniff. Ew, dragon breath. The tyrannosaur screwed up his nose and bared his left teeth, before huffing into the large dragon's face with equal, if not more, moisture.
"Krr crph!"
Rex, meanwhile, blinked at Gairbirth. "Hi Gairbirth," he whispered, smiling, though not directly at the dragon. Let King interact with Gair, while he focus his attention on other things. Like the clouds, for example.
Looking up at the sky, Rex grinned as he noticed one which looked decidingly tasty.
"Hey look, a sub!"

Salem nickered softly as he watched the twins. Well, it didn't seem to be going badly so maybe he didn't have to worry. He quickly took in his lunch before going off to get the next part of the lesson ready. He pulled out a stick and started to draw a large circle, drawing anothing one that was slightly smaller inside to form a ring that was about 2" or 3" wide. Within that he drew a large star, each of it's five points touching the inner circle's edges. That done he started to write in an odd language. Salem came from a family that held magic to be a greatly important thing, and so, every member was expected to be skilled in it. Salem couldn't cast a spell on his own if his life depended on it. However, he'd made up for this lack in personal ability by taking up a more wizard like path and simply using other things to cast for him. In this case he needed a magic circle to help him. Ironicly, the one thing he could do on his own was create anti-magic fields. Either way, once he was done with his circle he looked it over to make sure everything was set and ready. Once he was sure, he sat back to wait for the rest of the brake to end.
Meanwhile, Gairbith smiled slightly at the two before him quietly responding with a, "Hello. Having fun?" He blinked his good eye before cocking his head to the side to get a look at the sky. "Actually, yeah, it does... And that one looks like a puppy doesn't it?"

Aphrodite laid lazily inside the wagon, sipping from her nectar bottle. Stretching she sat back up, seeing Salem getting ready for the next part of the lesson. Opening up the notebook before her she grabbed her pencil tip and watched and copied the circle Salem drew into the ground.

Coming into the giant garden, Deimossmiled contentlyy at the benches of giant grapes hanging from the branches. Moving over to the tree, he grasped the tree trunk and shook it, hard. Grapes plummeted around him, some landing with sickening squishes.
Picking up a yunharmed grape, he sat down under the sahde of the tree and took a bite out of it, looking up through the leaves.. It was now official. He rather hated classes..

Salem sighed softly. He knew the brake would be over soon. He wondered how the second half of class was going to go with having to explain so many different kinds of dragons. Just the basics, but still... Aw well. It'll be fine he supposed. Hmmm... What would he show them next class...? Dragons was a great way to start with a bang, but something they could do a little more hands on...? Hmmm... Something small and cuddly maybe, that they could hold... Eh, he'd come up with it later...

"Mm." Rex shifted his gaze to Gairbirth and smile, nodding. Looking over to Salem, then the circle drawn into the ground, the boy blinked, and copied the diagram a few pages ahead in his notebook.
"What's Salem doing?" Rex queried, tilting his head to a side. "And what's the next part of the lesson, do you know, Gairbirth?"
King made faces at nothing in particular, before a familiar feeling made intself present in his stomach. Time for a snack~
Rex, I'm hungry.
What? You've just eaten!
Nope, that was a long time ago. The ball game took away everything I ate. King chuffed, followed by a long chirr. So it's your fault I'm hungry again~
Rex rolled his yes, chuckling as he did so. Yeah, yeah. You're getting good at excuses, aren't you? The boy reached for his backpack and fished out a sub from within. Unwrapping the cling foil, he split it into two, gave one part to King, and the offered the other to Gairbirth.

The dragon looked over at the circle for a moment before turning his attention back to the twins. "We're going to be going over the most common kinds of dragons. That's what the circle is for. There's no way we could bring ten other dragons here. Besides, five of them are quite dangerous. You're going to get to know illusionary ones instead. I don't really need to stay here anymore, but I think I'll watch from the side-lines anyway. Besides if there's any questions Salem can't answer, I'll probably step in." He spoke softly so he wasn't too loud, almost laughing as he was offered half a sub. How cute. It didn't matter that Rex and King were quite tall for their age, Gairbith dwarfed them quite easily in size. It was less then a bite size, but it was a very sweet gesture. "Thank you, but I'm fine. I ate before coming. You can have it."
The catfolk sighed softly, looking at his watch for a moment to check the time. Just under ten minutes left. He wondered who would make it back on time.
