Aksaja's little yelp caused Amrita to provide one of her own; sadly this made the Death Charm stare right at the dragon, his lip curled in a thankfully silent growl.
"Y-yes..." Amrita murmured with a sigh to Aksaja's question, twisting a section of her hair with both hands. "I...I woke up from Christmastown and...it-" The lack of affection in her voice was painfully obvious. "-was in my room. It hasn't left me alone since." Another whimper...and then she heard the crash. Poor Shehk! She immediately regretted not trying harder to keep DC in her room.
"I...I'm so sorry!" She called out to poor Shehk, sounding about as panicked as the other ghoul looked. "It won't start a fire!" 'I think' was added under her breath as an after thought, but she was still mighty guilty about the reaction given; she had mostly gotten used to the Charm being nearby but she forgot that others, especially other Undeads, did not.
Before the overprotective beast could could do too much about all the unhappy sounds Amrita was making, he found a larger nose in his face...and he was being growled at? Really? The Charm's curled lip was turned towards Skoll instead and his surprisingly deep and rumbling growl rising to match the Wolf's. Despite his show of not backing down in the face of a much bigger creature (including snapping right back at him!), he actually was backing up. There was a difference, of course! He wasn't giving in he was just...moving. That's all! Moving into the hallway, where Skoll herded him. Amrita couldn't help but stare in amazement. She definitely wanted one of those puppies now. If the Parent was a DC-Buffer, then...
The Vetala turned back to the Pricolici.
"...So...about that Puppy?"

"Just take good care of 'em. I'll always be around to get questions about things if you need them." Shehk replied, peeling herself off of the floor across the room from the door. Hati walked over to sit by the Pricolici's side, watching DC curiously, but not going after the pet at all. Skoll had taken care of it and the wolf had already been rewarded for his efforts.
"i-It's okay, Amrita. I just wasn't expecting that." she replied, sighing as she walked back over to her desk to take up another one of the necklaces from it and offering it to the ghoul, Hati seeming somewhat anxious to see what was going on. Certainly the pack-alpha could be trusted, but still......
"I don't know if you heard me saying it earlier, but my only request for people is that they come around now and then to let their pup visit Skoll and Hati a bit." she nodded, before placing one hand on each of the wolves' heads.

All right, while his reaction might to the Death Charm might not have been entirely . . . rational, Shehk's was weirder still. Until the lightning dragon remembered the whole Undead-do-not-like-fire thing. Oh. Well, that made sense then. His eyes widened a little as the wolf actually managed to drive the mini-dragon back, and a new sort of respect for these particular minipets rose up within him.
Nodding at Riley's thanks, he turned back to Shehk and offered her a somewhat apologetic smile. "Well, that's what I remember about you and uhm . . . the boil you were with. Things were kinda crazy." Glancing down at the wolves, he tilted head a little. "Maybe if they have more puppies later, I could ah. Put my name in for one?" They may not do much against the full-size Death Charm but if they could make the little one back up like that . . . well, in his opinion that made them awesome.

Amrita took the pendant that was offered, holding it closer to her chest. After seeing what it's parent could do she was very excited for the chance to get one of her own...and the conditions that Shehk laid down were rather easy to abide by.
"Thank you, Shehk! I can do that~! I promise." The little Vetala nodded, speaking her promise more towards the canine parents than it was to Shehk. DC stayed in the hallway, his growl having quieted to a low grumble, a terribly linger whine, and eventually to silence. He wasn't completely sure how he ended up in the hallway, but he decided it was much safer to stay here, and to just wait until his Master came back; she was still in his line of sight, he could deal with that.
There was a small pause and she turned to glance up at the Lightning Dragon. She...kind of wanted to offer to let him play with the Puppy Shehk gave her when it arrived, but...she really couldn't get the words out. It would be very weird, since...she didn't even know his name. So she pressed her lips together and ducked her head with a bit of a sigh, heading around him and out to the hallway.
"Thanks again, Shehk! And, um, b-bye, Mr. Dragon!" She called from the hallway as though it were an after thought. DC stayed sitting for a moment, though soon he did get back to his feet to trail after Amrita, heading back to their cold room.

"If there are more, I'll certainly be panicking to home them again." Shehk answered to Aksaja's inquiry, making a point to walk over to her desk and fish around for a post-it note to write on. Hmmm.
"I don't blame you for not remembering much about that entire trip. I sort of blank out somewhere past 'the workshop we're in is on fire dfjlaksdfdf'. Whole thing. In flames. It was pretty damn horrible." The Pricolici's ears drooped a bit before she sighed and shrugged a bit. Ah well~
"If you want to leave me contact information, however, that would make it easier for me to find you again, " as I get stolen away in the monster dorms, though she didn't share that, "should another batch of the brats show up."
Yeahhhhh She didn't even want to know if another would show up. But preset homes would be awesome.

Aksaja nodded at that, with a little grin. "Sure, no problem . . . here, I'll write down my number." Taking the pen for a moment, he scribbled a number on one of the post-its, actually attempting to make his writing somewhat legible. "There ya go. I've usually always got my eyePhone on me."
