Shifting her stance she turned at his gesture, leading the way out of the base and toward the steps that lead to the outside. Giving the guard on duty a polite nod of greeting before she climbed the steps out into the city.
"I must admit, I've been in this part of the city more in a month then I have in my entire life." She said as she glanced around the filthy buildings, pausing only for a moment to let will join her at the top before she continued down the street toward the car. She was cautious here, as was Umbreon, he trotted forward, ears perked and on alert as she scanned the aria ahead. A behavior of hers that carried over from the stories she heard here, and not wanting to be followed to the base, or where she kept the car.

While Will did spare a few glance around, he didn't seem to be quite as cautious about the area as Faleen was. Perhaps he was just use to being around these parts more than she. The fact that he was in civilian clothes again didn't draw much attention either.
"Really?" Will asked, casting a glance at his companion. "What part of the city are you from?" Komashi followed after Will, her tail wagging happily and claws clicking against the concrete. Such a stark contrast to Azrael, this little Growlithe was!

At the Question he asked, Faleen glanced over at him, before holing a hand up and gesturing it out toward the East of the city "Uh, up there quite a ways" She answered "by the beach"
Thats where she used to live anyway, the home she grew up in. it was farther down where the buildings of the businesses and sky scrapers thinned, mostly homes and smaller business, mostly relating to the beach are in that aria.

"Huh, really? That's a nice end of town from what I've seen." That would perhaps explain why she wasn't as familiar or comfortable in this part of town, which was pretty much considered the bad end. And for good reason.
He continued to follow her. But as the vehicle came within sight, he recalled Komashi back to her pokeball. She would have ample time to play in the park later.

"I guess you could say that" she replied, knowing full well it was a very nice aria, where the uppity and wealthy lived, she didn't choose to discuss it to much though, it wasn't a particularly interesting subject, and she didn't often get in the habit of talking about her life before Team Rocket.
When they reached the car she stepped over to the door behind passenger side, waiting at the door for Will to unlock the car before she opened it, letting her Umbreon jump in the back before closing it behind him. "Would you mind if I asked you a question Will?" Glancing over to car to the other Rocket while she opened her own door to get in the front passenger seat.

There was a click and a double beep as Will deactivated the alarm and unlocked the car. Moving over to the driver's side, he opened the door just as Faleen asked her question. Sitting in the chair, he inserted the key into the ignition and started up the engine.
"Sure, what's on your mind?" He asked while fastening his seat belt. Once Faleen and Umbreon were in the car, he put the vehicle into reverse and draped an arm over the back of Faleen's seat as he turned to look behind him and back out.

"I was just curious about your visor" She started, buckling herself in and getting as comfortable as she could. "Just go down this road, It'll take you all the way through the city, you'll hit 7th street from there" taking a pause to tell him where to go, before returning to her question. "I noticed you wear it all the time, or at least all the times I've seen you, I was just curious if there was a reason for it?"

Will's lips drew out into a thin line. He knew that would come up eventually. Someone else had already asked that question actually, and it was only inevitable.
"It's my eyes," he told her as he straightened up the car and then put it into drive. "All right," was his response to her directions as he pulled out into the street and got them on their way.
"I have weak eyes. Any kind of light hurts, so I pretty much have to wear it all the time."

Faleen was not oblivious to the man's features right after she asked the question, seemed she had pondered something that Will wasn't to thrilled about talking about. She did get an answer though, one that she had suspected could be a reason. it was for medical purposes. "I see" she replied "I apologize if that was a personal question Will, "
She certainly didn't hope it made the other grunt feel uncomfortable, she got the impression it wasn't something he wanted to discuss.

"No, you're fine," he assured her, although his tone was considerably more subdued than it had been previously. It likely could be a sensitive subject that he didn't want to get too much into. But he really couldn't blame Faleen for being curious. After all, most people didn't go around wearing a visor on their face all the time. It would be silly if no one took notice of it.
Releasing a sigh, Will shifted in his chair as he continued to drive down the street.

She took his word for it, not stressing over what she might have said, since there was nothing she could do about it now. "... do you think we can make a quick detour?" she asked Will, wondering about something. "Its a little out of the way," she leaned forward to get a good idea of where they were in the city, catching a street sign. "The last time I was here was during that one mission to the Poke Ball at the Grand hotel, I think you remember" she had seen him that night after the mission was complete. "Would you mind if we just drive by and took a look at what condition the place if still in?" It would need a lot of work, thats for sure, she wondered how far along they got.

At her request, Will paused, a little bit surprised by it. He did in fact remember that night. Very well actually. The raid team had come to the outpost in shambles, with several injured. Many of those that weren't injured were stressed and worn out. He had done his best to see to those who had escaped serious injury.
"Sure," he said quietly, seeing no reason to deny her request, even if he thought it was a bit odd that she'd want to return and look. Coming to a light, Will pulled into the left turn lane and waited until he got the signal to go. Once he did, he made the turn and went down the street, eventually coming to the Grand Hotel. "There it is," he said, taking his time in passing the building so that Faleen could look.
It had been over a month since the raid, and from the outside, things looked normal. The broken window had been replaced, but the beautiful chandelier that usually could be seen from the street, was no longer there.

Quietly Faleen leaned over to get as close a look on the hotel as she could, eyes scanning quickly with the few moments she had. "... We didn't know it at the time" she started, leaning back in her seat, leaning back into her seat once they had passed the hotel. "But it was the Galactics that blew that place apart" she ran a hand over her hair, frowning thoughtfully. "Thanks Will, sorry, just wanted to see it again" It felt strange being back there, considering new information they had gotten about that night. She directed him back on course to the cafe, it was easy enough, and it wasn't to far away. "Have you been on any other missions besides the one that ended horribly with the cops?"

Will frowned at that. "They've been causing us a lot of trouble," he stated obviously. Had the Galactics not interfered, there likely wouldn't have been nearly as many injuries in that raid.
"No problem," he then told her as he continued back on the course to the cafe per her directions. But it was her next question which drew a thoughtful expression from him. "No, I haven't, actually. But I've been thinking about signing up for one. I mean, there's only so much I can do by just being a guard at the outpost."

Faleen smiled when she heard Will say that, pleased that he sounded like he wanted to do more then guard duty. "I think thats a good idea, and with Komashi you'll have a good pokemon you could use" Despite how dangerous raids were, there was a certain pride about carrying them out, and even more so when the team accomplishes something for the organization.
