 Sam walked to the last place on her list. She told Max to wait outside and she went in to ask about working there. Sam came back outside and huged Max " I got the job!" She said happily " I cant wait to start! I get to do dishes but they said i might be able to help decorate cup cakes or cookies." Sam laughed " Guess we better get you home, your owner is gonna be home soon." She said and walked home with Max fallowing her.

With a sigh Alex found a bench in the park and sat down. 'what to do what to do? *sigh* so much time and nothing at all to do....'

Sam droped Max off at his owners appartment then went to hers " I'm back Mr. Plant." She said and walked over to a dead plant that was on the kitchen counter. " Your looking happy today." She said and laughed going to the fridge and getting out a V8 and shakeing the can befor opeining it. She walked over to her liveing room which had no furature other then a small tv, a dvd player and a coffee table with a bunch of books and a few dvds on it. She grabed a book and layed on the ground reading it.

"okay okay...so...i need to think about how to meet her more often....maybe i should fallow her around tomoarrow??...no that would be a little creepy...but then again what else am i suppose to do?...i'll have to risk it..."

Sam woak up and looked at the timer on her dvdplayer. " Only 5:40...." She closed her eyes then opened them again " Darn it..." She got up and hurryed to the bathroom to take a quick shower and got dressed quickly. " Great gonna be late on my first day!" she complained as she hurried out of her appart ment. When she got down stairs she looked at the time. "5....03....?" One of her nabors sighed " did your forget to change your clock again?" sam blushed " Um.... possibly...." She said then headed to work to get there eairly.

Alex groaned and shifted in his seat as he woke,he had fallen asleep in his chair and was more then a little sore his back popping as he tried to sit upright. "ugh! if i knew that being immortal would make me so relaxed then i never would have..." His thoughts were quickly interrupted by a smell in the air. It was smoke the sickening smell was so strong he could almost taste in on the back of his tongue. He quickly starts to look around and try to find the source.

Sam got to her job early and started washing dishes. She hummed softly while she worked. ' wonder if they will teach me how to bake...' she finshed the dishes and watched the other workes decorate cakes.

Alexander groans as he sees the reason why the smell of smoke is so strong. A house not too far from the park is on fire and with no sounds of a fire truck he can only assume that no truck has been called or is near enough yet. "Looks like I'm gonna have to play hero today..."

Sam watches the cheffs for a while becomeing kinda bored. She grabed a broom and went to go sweep the front of the shop and was tables.
