Kari made a step with his hands to help Tsuke up to be able to get to the vent. "Use my hands, get out of here!" He tried to act calm, but his arms were shaking slightly, his eyes scared.

Julie stood standing infront of the door her arms blocking the way as she looked at him

Kari reached up for Tsuke's hand, but he was too small to reach. He tried standing up on his tippytoes, but the dragon's hand remained just out of reach. He could hear Mayes getting closer to the door, trying to push back the desperation in his eyes as he strained to reach the boys hand. He flattened his chest against the wall, the sharp blades hanging there digging into his skin, making small, shallow cuts. He gave up, slumping against the wall, his head down. "Go...." he whispered. "Save yourself..."

Julie sighed running into the room pushing Kari up to the vent"just go and escape. i'll try to hold him off for a bit" she said running back to the door looking at him standing in front of the door way

Kari pushed Tsuke down the vents, not sure where they lead.

 "You insulent little brat!", Mayes sneered as he raised his whip to strike Julie "You have helped them! That means you will face punishment as well!" he struck her across the back with the whip, he didn't want to punish her, but she had drawn the line.

: Tsuke heared the crack of the whip echoe through the vents, "JULIE!", he said as he pushed his way around Kari When he got to the opening, he jumped and kicked Mayes across the face "YOU a*****e! HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!?", Tsuke screamed at the inu, he was pissed, no one would hurt his friends, especially Julie. He charged at Mayes, but he dodged it, "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY!? ARE YOU TOO MUCH OF A ******** COWARD TO FIGHT BACK?!", this inraged Mayes, he threw down his whip and grabbed the dragon by his throat, still Tsuke managed to speak "W-what are y-you going to kill me? Go ah-ead", he managed to say in a choking voice

Kari tried to hold Tsuke back, the fabric of the dragon's shirt slipping through his fingers. He watched in horror as Mayes grabbed his neck. He yelled, launching himself from the vent to hurl himself towards Mayes.

Mayes dropped the boy dodged out of Kari's way " I TOLD YOU BOTH NOT TO GO IN HERE!", Mayes yelled in rage as he grabbed the whip to strick Kari, as soon as he cracked the whip Tsuke jumped in front of it, "Get out of the way dragon!!!", Mayes said threatingly

Kari hit the floor as Mayes dodged, flinching slightly as Mayes cracked the whip. He stood up, standing behind Tsuke. "M-master, it isn't his fault! I was the one that suggested we go in here! I practically dragged him in here!"

Julie looked at them both and whinced a bit feeling the whip as it healed up quickly as she grabbed Tsuke and then grabbed kari by his hand and pulled them away dragging them some where safe. "stay here alright, i will be fine what else can i get then a whipping. i've had so many its just normal" she said kissing their forheads gently then locking the door and takeing the key with her "you leave them alone master" she said putting the key in her pocket as she jumped back down to where he was and looked at him "if you want to hurt them you have to get throught me first" she said turning around and running
