Jasmine thought about it. "A boy who isn't too cheery..." she thought harder. She would never forgive herself if she said Zeke, he was too jerky and idiotic. Keith was her cousin, but Cody? It would be strange, but they would fit. "What about Cody?" she asked.

Jasmine nodded. This might be hard, but she had a trick up her sleeve. She had a northern hawk owl, and so did Cody. They were both females. The only difference is that hers has slightly darker yellow eyes, but Helena didn't know that.
