Avery groaned as he laid her down. Mia set on the edge of the bed.
The nurse looked Avery over and gave her pain meds, and looked at Jeremy, "She will be fine, but I think its best for her to go home, Jeremy will you take her?" she asked sweetly, "Mia you can go to," she said with a smile.
After Avery took the meds she fell sleep.

Jeremy bowed his head, "Sure..I don't mind" He said quietly sitting down on a different bed. He rubbed his neck slightly shutting his eyes'. "I'll go get mine and her stuff" He added standing up again sighing softly. He wasn't usually use to talking to so many people...even if it was only three

Mia stood up, "No you stay here ill get it, Avery would kill me if i let you go back in there with Scott, and you cant go in to the girls locker room," she said and left the room back to the gym. The nurse smiled and looked at Jeremy, "It was nice of you to stand up to Scott and bring her in here, Watch here while i go sign you three out," she said and left.

"Oh yeah..girls..locker room" Jeremy shook his head before turning his attention to the nurse, "It's all I could do..I don't like seeing people hurt." He said sitting back down, bringing his knees to his chest giving a small sigh. He just relaxed for a little bit, waiting for Mia to come back. "What a fun day this was" He said sarcastically

"S...sorry," Avery said from the bed across the room, in a groggy voice, "I...I always mess..things up," she said softly and turned away from him, knowing that he must hate her, for causing all this.

Jeremy opened his eyes', looking over at Avery, "Hey, no you don't. You didn't mess up anything..it was Scott's fault. Don't blame yourself" He said standing up walking over to her. He lightly place his hand on her arm, "It's just fine...you shouldn't move though, it'll make the pain in your neck worse" He said worryingly.

Avery turned and looked at him sadly, "I meant me kissing your cheek....I just wanted to prove to you that I'm not like my friends....I don't even want to be a cheerleader, I hate it, bc people think that your just some know-it-all, and that we are all just snobby rich kids who like to be mean, nut im not...and i didn't want you to see me that way...I don't care what my friends have to say," she said softly , blushing likely, though she didn't know why.

Jeremy blinked, kneeling down by her bed. He stared at her, "Then...why don't you quite cheerleading?" He asked tilting his head slightly looking like a child. "But....I...understand about you proving that...it's fine...that you did that..At least I trust you that your not the mean kind" He said quietly rubbing her arm lightly.

Avery shrugged then winched, "B...bad idea," she said softly, then looked at him, "And i dont know why i dont quite...cheerleading has been apart of my life since i can remember," she looked in to his eyes and smiled, "Your eyes are really pretty," she said giggling.

Jeremy blushed a little, "Ahem...um...thanks" He smiled a little at her. "But..um...maybe it's just best I guess If you do quit. If you don't like doing it anymore...what's the point on to keep on doing it?" He said shutting his eyes'. "Buts it all up to you" He opened his eyes' slowly looking at her.

Jeremy sighed, "Don't move your head..." He said wiping away her tears. "Wow....Mia is taking her sweet ol' time...isn't she" He sighed

Avery sighed, "I hate being helpless, and yea she is, but you don't have to take me home...if you don't want to," she said softly looking away from him slightly, a little nervous.

Jeremy shook his head, "It's fine...I'll take you home...it's at least what I can do" He said leaning down and gently kissed her cheek. He stood straight smile a little realizing what he did, he blushed deeply

Avery smiled and giggled lightly, "Thanks," she said softly. Mia walked back in holding Avery and Jeremy's bags, "Alright so I can't leave but I'm sure you will find her house," she said smiling. Avery smiled, "Umm Jeremy do you have a car? cause if you do that's going to be a little hard," she said looking up at him.
