redheadsrule13 it's not really from an orchrestra band or anything like that it's from this band called Apocalyptica and the songs called Ruska. This band is amazing they all play the cello, and they don't sing either but this piece had me tearing up the first time I heard it. I know what song you are talking about! Their pieces just make me feel so much. Gosh, I am such a dork...

Frank Ticheli's Shenandoah. And Amazing Grace, too. Unfortunately, I don't know who this belongs to, but I'll put it anyway: Yosemite Autumn.

Please forgive me some day......... As much as I dislike playing Pomp and Circumstance, it'll always be one of the few pieces that I tear up for. ......If I disappear completely without a trace

lil_kitty_TNA Please forgive me some day......... As much as I dislike playing Pomp and Circumstance, it'll always be one of the few pieces that I tear up for. ......If I disappear completely without a trace I played pomp and circumstance so much i was impervious to its effects. The song that made me tear up when I was a senior, I cant even remember its name... darn it :/

Oh so many pieces make me cry, really; if the piece has the right feel to it, I'm pretty much done. There are a few specifically that I'm certain to start tearing up to, and a couple I'm guaranteed to just bawl.
Just to list a few:
~Each Time Your Tell Their Story by Samuel Hazo, as has already been mentioned. Just to read the poem is enough. ~What Love Really Means by JJ Heller. There's no way I'm not crying at this. ~Tears of an Angel by RyanDan ~I Wonder by Kellie Pickler ~Heartstrings from the Mercy Project CD ~Amazing Grace. I'm a sobbing mess after just the first two notes.

I tear up whenever we play Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl It sounds amazing. Every time we get to bar 181, when Will turns into a pirate...I just want to cry because it's like I can feel it.
I'm a proud orchestra nerd!! mrgreen

Currently we're playing October In band, and it's simply beautiful. and how our band director (swanny) contucts it with so much emotions. YOu can just see it on his face how beautiful this piece of music is. I love being a part of it. He said (and I quote) "If the audiance isn't crying by the end of this, we played it wrong." He's so true there. ~۪B۫۰۪l۫۰۪a۫۰۪c۫۰۪k۫۰۪H۫۰۪e۫۰۪a۫۰۪r۫۰۪t۫۰ heart
