As she went on the ground, she spotted that Anthony was feeling ...uncomfortable maybe ? not sure she didn't know him that well to tell.
But she stopped speaking about herself quickly maybe he felt she didn't trust him.
It was not the case, it was much she didn't trust herself. How can she explained she was a sort of magical girl reincarnated and fighting against strange things ?
Without realising it made her laughed at herself. How come her mother actually believed her ?
She returned to Anthony when she heard him talk.
"Oh yes it is one of my favorite spot. But we don't have a lot of time to stay today, because night will be here soon and we need to go back."
She made her horse drank and then jumped back on the saddle.
She saw Anthony watching his watch.
"Well will take a faster way to go back." she paused, "someone is waiting for you?"
maybe it was not a good idea to ask about his private life, but she thought it could help showing she was happy talking with him.

Tony nodded his head.
"I can see why it's your favorite," he commented thoughtfully, still taking in the area. He didn't get away from the grind of the library enough, perhaps. Or the chaos of the city. While monster attacks and life or death battles certainly broke up the monotony of the day, they did little to improve the sights. This was different. Nature was nice.
He patted the horse he had been riding as it drank leisurely, feeling very at peace with the whole thing. He would have to do things like this more often, as he hadn't felt this without stress in some time.
When she spoke, he realized he had lost track of time, and she was sitting on her horse again. Making to climb up, just as gracelessly as before, he nodded and spoke with difficulty from his efforts.
"Yes, my son. He'll starve if I'm not there to put his disgusting choice of food into the microwave."

"So you have a son. How old is he ?" she thought he was pretty young looking to have a son. Her curious side wanted to know more and one part of her was actually wondering if because he had a kids maybe he would understand her situation better.
She just wanted an other point of view than her mother. Because it was her mother, she would accept her without problem because she loved her.

Tony chuckled, nodding his head.
"Seventeen. I didn't know him until, ah. Just recently. It's uhm..." why did he say that? That was too much information, and now he had made himself uncomfortable. He shook his head, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
And trying not to fall off the horse because he dared to take one hand off the reigns.
He had no idea his own son was a senshi, of course. As far as he knew, Nathan was just a punk kid with no direction in life, and no will to make anything of himself. He did not like Tony much, and didn't treat him with any respect. And Tony was unsure how to make things better, and often his efforts just made them worse.
"Ah, it's a long story, but... anyway. Yes."

Ariel understood the little embarrasment, everyone had his own story right, it was not her right to judge anything and so she didn't asked for more details.
"Seventeen, so he is the same age as me, maybe I met him once without knowing" she laughed a little to calm the atmosphere. What she didn't know was she actally met him already but not as a civilian but as a senshi and it was not a really good meeting.
But because she felt comfortable with Anthony she decided to ask on her own story. The horses had a good pace, the sunset started at the horizon, the situation was just good to ask.
"If I can ask you a private question, how would you react if you meet someone who is different ? I mean different not like illness or handicap, more like unaturaly different....." she paused, not sure if it would explain enough what she wanted.

Tony smiled and chuckled.
"I think if you met him, you would know," he said, not realizing his son was a senshi and that the duo had, in fact, met. He didn't know she was a senshi either, of course, so that whole world was far beyond his knowledge. To him, there was little chance she had run into him, if she didn't have a terrible memory about a very grumpy jerk of a teenager giving her a hard time. That was commonly how people who had met Nate remembered him to Tony.
Tony looked at her as they were heading leisurely back toward the stables, pondering her question. His chest tightened in a strange way, and he tried not to look too obvious about it. He knew some people who were very different, of course. Senshi. Not his own son, perhaps, but a girl that had been like a daughter to him. He knew she was a senshi. He knew other senshi as well, though not their civilian names, and he cared a great deal about them all.
"Ah, well. There are a lot of differences in the world," he said vaguely, not sure what she was talking about and not wanting to dismiss whatever difference she meant. It didn't occur to him that she was talking about senshi, as well, "and in my job, my life, I see a lot of different kinds of people. I try to treat everyone with the respect they deserve, and the care they require of me, whoever they are."

They were almost back at the stabble, she needed to be more clear maybe. For sure he was a gentle man so he will be nice with everyone. But a senshi was a little different, some people may thing it was scary.
She stayed a little vague but she tried to develop. "I guess yes, but if it is someone really different, like human like you but not human too in one way". She was not really sure if people were aware about the fact senshi existed, so she couldn't say the word.

Tony looked at her, getting the feeling that she was talking about senshi. Did she know of them, too? Was friends with one? It was a complicated existence, considering most of the populace hated them, and thought them terrorists. Or didn't know of them at all.
Something seemed to block his thinking, and he did not assume that she was one at all. It simply did not occur to him.
"Ah. Do you mean the senshi?" he asked carefully, "ah. Terrorists, I suppose, is the common name... they're not, though. They're good people. Uhmm... if you mean them, I've met... a few. They saved my life. A lot. I... owe everything to them." He smiled, nodding his head thoughtfully as he recounted in his mind all the times he had been in danger and a senshi came to his rescue.

Ariel heart skipped a beat for a second, Anthony knew about senshi ! And in a good way. Her smile brightened as she heard about his story with senshi.
They arrived at the stabble while they were speaking and she put feet on the ground first.
"Yes, it was about senshi." she paused a little waiting for him to went down from the horse too, maybe he will need help.
"I am happy you don't think they are terrorist, because.... I am one of them"
she was not sure if she could reveale it to someone else, but she felt confident about Anthony and trusted he will not betrayed her.

Tony managed to get himself down from the horse with more grace than he had so far. He looked fairly proud of himself at that, patting the horse on the neck and admiring the beautiful animal and listening to Ariel as she began to speak again.
He looked at her, and his expression faltered a bit. He was stunned.
"You... you're one of them?" He kept secrets to his chest, and the only way to get them out of him was probably straight through his rib cage.
He walked to her,putting his hand on her shoulder. She wasn't far, apparently very aware of his ineptitude with the horse and not wanting him to fall and break his head open. He smiled reassuringly. His eyes were always warm and friendly, but now they had a deeper understanding.
"You need to be careful, who you tell. I'm not one of them, the bad guys, but I imagine they can be just as nice as I am if they want to be. But I promise to you now, that I'll not tell your secret to anyone. Ever. It worries me to know end, hearing that you are a senshi. You could be killed for it. You could be hurt. If you ever need me, find me. Whatever I can ever do for you, I will. You senshi have saved me more times than I can count, and I owe all of you everything I have. Everything I am."
If she was just kidding with him, it was one hell of a joke, and he fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

Ariel smiled, she had met negaverse once she knew how dangerous they could be. If he hadn't told her he was saved by senshi before she would probably never had told him her secret.
"Thank you M.Darrow. I will not say anyone else I swear, it is just, only my mother know, but sometimes it is a heavy secret. And I am a little lost recently about what meant to be a senshi, so hearing you saying they are good people make me feel confident again about my role here."
She moved, taking the two horse saddled and put them back in their little room. She will take care of them after Anthony went home.
"And thank you for your offer I appreciate it. And actually it was not the first time you helped me" she winked. "This time at the library, I was looking for my identity, even if you didn't know, you help me finding the information I needed."

Tony smiled, nodding his head. He knew it was an impossible burden for people so young to bear, and he was conflicted in knowing their secrets. He wanted to help them, but more than that, he wished they didn't have to fight. The situations they faced, the troubles they were made to suffer, were far beyond what they deserved at their ages. What anyone deserved, at any age, and he marveled at their, at Ariel's, ability to deal with it all.
And go to school, or help with horses, or simply live almost normal lives at the same time.
He looked surprised when she reminded him about her trip to the library.
"I remember, you were looking up stars! I had no idea. Well, I'm glad I could help you then, and I will always be available to help you, whenever you need it most. Believe me, the work you do, as a senshi, is important. It is honorable and amazing, and you are an incredible young woman to be able to do it. You save lives, Miss Ariel, and you protect the world we live in. You deserve everything that's good, and even if most of the city doesn't understand or trust in senshi, that doesn't make what you do any less significant."

Anthony's word almost made Ariel cried, it was exactly what she needed to hear right now. She was really in a mess mentaly after the battle at Elysion and hearing all the bad things about Senshi. She almost didn't wanted to transform anymore, but right now, these words saved her.
She will not cried, she wanted to stand as a senshi right now, courageous and pridefull of her gift. She walked toward him again and offer her hand to handshake.
"Thank you very much for your word M. Darrow, I will remember it forever." She smiled. "And same goes for me, even if I hope it never happen, if you need help call me. As a senshi or as a professor" she winked.
She looked at the sky, they talked a lot and it started to be dark. "I think your son is waiting" she started walking towards the entrance. "Your are a good dad, I hope he realises it too. My mother is as kind as you, but she never really met anyone else like me so she has not your point of view about the situation. Anyway she accepted me like I am, like you did, and this is enough."
She paused, it was time for him to go home, and for her to finish her work, she knew that if she needed she had someone on her side now, it was a gift.
"Thank you for today, you did really well, I hope next time we can try to gallop"

Tony watched her and smiled as she offered him her hand. He took it and gave it a strong shake. Sturdy. Reassuring and, in his way, proud. If she understood that who she was went beyond just being a senshi, just being forced into a fight, then he had said something right. If she could believe in herself, and find the strength she needed, then he was proud of her.
And if she needed his help, he would be there to give it.
"You're welcome, Miss Ariel."
He imagined she was right, though. Nate wouldn't wait for his food for too long. He'd either wreck something trying to microwave it for himself, on purpose, or he'd just find some money to steal and go out. Neither option was particularly pleasing, so Tony followed her back to the entrance. He smiled when she said he was a good dad, finding the compliment oddly touching.
He wanted to be, he understood. He wanted to be a good father.
"Galloping? Well, I'll certainly try it. We'll just have to make sure to wrap my head in pillows first, just in case." He grinned and then thanked her for the lesson. "Stay safe," he said with sincere care. Then he moved to head home.

((took so much time because I had test crying ))
Ariel followed Anthony until he left and then went back at the stabble to clean up everything. It was pretty late so she hurried as much as possible.
Then when she finished she went back home, packed her stuffs for tomorrow morning and then go bed. A new week will start but she had a different feeling about the future now.
She fall asleep with sweet dreams for once
