Rayearth nodded his head. "Stay here. I will come back with a vine." He said, taking a moment to see if she had any qualms before running towards the forest. He did not want her to be a sitting duck in cold.

She nodded and watched him go off, shifting her wings to keep the basket warm, but not too hot.

Rayearth entered the forest, glancing around for a sturdy vine. Searching the trees, he tried to find a vine that was not dead or frozen from the cold. Coming a cross one, he tucked it loose from its grasp to the tree and when he came to a good amount that would wrap around the basket and Tori, he snapped the rest of it off. He was not going to waste his time trying to untangle a vine from a tree for the rest of the night. He made haste to return back to Tori.

Tori wasn't in any trouble, nor was she growing impatient, though the setting sun was starting to make her a bit anxious, wanting the basket in a safe place for the night.

Rayearth came back to Tori, because she was safe set his mind in ease. The stallion stopped by her side and flung one end of the vine over the basket and around her back. "Tori, can you move the vine towards me? I'm afraid I might stab you with my horn if I try to grab it underneath you." He said with a soft tone, and unsteady because his words were disturbed by his soft pants.

She nodded and turned her head to grab the vine, tugging it over her back and folding her wings down to make it easier on them both.

Rayearh moved from one side of her with the other end of his vine in his mouth. He waited for her to step over the vine so that it would go under her legs to meet the other tossed end. He then tied the vine into a firm knot so that basket would not shift around so much.

She moved when he needed her to and felt the basket become more secure on her back. When he was done, she looked behind her and was glad to see the basket sitting there and she nodded, a soft smile on her muzzle.

Rayearth just nodded to Tori before continuing on his way to his home. He at least did not have to worry that the basket would just plop off of Tori's back and somehow get injured in its current state. He did not want that to happen.

She followed after him, now able to move at a faster pace now that the basket was safely on her back. Now she was quite curious as to where Ray lived, feeling a bit ashamed she never tried to visit before.

Rayearth started to make the trek up the mountain. "Go on ahead of me. I will tell you where to go." He said softly. The stallion wanted to trail behind lest the basket comes loose and slides off her back or Tori herself starts to slip backwards. The climb was a difficult one that only mountainous animals or smaller prey can manage up the tough terrain. "Be careful. This will not be an easy climb." He wanted her ahead of time, taking in consideration that the trail might be icy due to the snow.

She followed after him, wishing she was strong enough to fly with the basket, but she wasn't taking that risk. When he told her to walk ahead of him, she made sure to pass him by, and nodded when he told her to be careful.

The stallion watched after Tori, and made sure that she was alright. "If you need to stop, just tell me." He said, not wanting her to get tired.

She nodded her head, keeping her attention ahead of her, making sure not to step on any rocks that would trip her or cause her to slip. She had to slow down when the path became a bit steeper the higher they went.

Rayearth noticed that the entrance was coming up soon. "Tori. We're almost there." He said. "Just head to your right, and we'll be inside soon."
