Admiral Lord Cochrane The status might say 'not currently searching for editors', but it never hurts to ask. 3nodding Regarding the earthquake in Japan, Gaia Online already has far too many threads dedicated towards rants, debates & open everyday conversation upon the topic to justify GOM to do likewise, and therefore there is no point in creating a GOM:JAPAN thread/forum - UNLESS, someone wants to begin a charity fundraiser we can independently setup through the Red Cross. *hint hint*As far as GOM-HQ is concerned, there will be a mention of our best wishes towards the recovery efforts currently taking place in Japan in the next issue - which was scheduled for the 1st, but due to widespread illness & life issues ( because this is a volunteer magazine - no one is paid) the date has been pushed back a week or two. A definite publish date is still to be determined. We'll keep you informed.
I'd really like to help you guys in any way that I can, I've already told a few users about you and applied for crew/assistant for Nymph...

As a rule, I instruct my crew to get as much sleep as possibly feasible.
This applies for my applicants as well. What good will you be to me should you not be well rested?

Truthfully I haven't used skype in years, just made the new account yesterday in case I needed it for you guys if I ever got into the crew or anything. I'm kind of... oblivious to it?

A typo? Perhaps - why don't you try adding 'Sidney_Cochrane', and we'll go from there. As for Skype, we have two production chat windows we use (one business and one leisure). Skype is our main communications link because it not only allows for a mass conference panel, but makes it simple to transfer files back and forth. And yes, if there is a need for calls, we can do just that.

Alright. Well I guess I should be reading all the how-to things for skype. Please excuse my inexperience with it... I haven't really had a need to use it, you know?
I figured out why I never got your invite, though. Somehow it detected my old account from way back when, and I guess it thought I wanted to log into that account. Well, now it's not allowing me to get into the one I made yesterday. *is a bit frustrated*
I think I need some assistance sir!
