Ball And Chain Crushing | Brutal | Unstoppable This is a heavy hitting style. Only Four classes can even use this style : Paladin, Knight, Shadowknight, and Warlord. All other classes cannot handle this weapon style, no matter their strength. With this style, you either dodge, or get sent flying by the sheer force and weight of this tremendous weapon.
Kick Start Rank: D Description: While spinning the chain vertically, the user alters the course of the ball by interrupting the spin with their foot, thus sending the ball in the direction they aim at. Technique Contributed by: The Urban Superstition
Turtle Waxing Rank: D Description: While spinning the chain, the user will swing as hard as they can as they crouch, sitting on their rear and sending them into a sporadic spin. Technique Contributed by: The Urban Superstition Buzz Saw Blur Rank: C Requires: Energy Description: This is one of the most basic techniques of the Ball-and-Chain style. The user focuses energy into the chain as they begin slowly spinning the weapon. This lightens the load of the weapon, allowing the ball-and-chain to be spun much faster than normal. This technique is deceptively simple, as this reduced weight only lasts until the user releases the ball to fly at its target. The weight then returns, and combines with the heightened speed, to crush iron defenses, and dent steel.
The Upswing Rank: D Description: The user spins the ball horizontally counterclockwise, then using brute force brings the ball around to their right side so that it is spinning clockwise by their right shoulder. They then step forward, trying to bring the ball up into their opponent. If this connects, it will send unprepared opponents flying upwards.
Reverse Polarity Rank: C Requires: Knight Class Description: The user spins the ball as normal, and sends it flying out towards a target in front of them. Before it can connect though, the wielder hauls back on the chain, causing the ball to fly towards them. They then dive out of the way at the last second, sending the ball into an opponent behind them.
Buzz Chain Rank: C Requires: Energy Description: This technique allows the Ball-and-Chain user to have a hidden weapon. They focus energy around the excess chain that trails from their off hand, gathering energy around it. This energy causes the links of the chain to vibrate at incredible speeds, creating a buzzing sound, and if they are used to strike, can tear skin and leather through high friction.
Ripcord Shot Rank C Requires: Energy Description: This technique is a surprise attack in the Ball-and-Chain style. The wielder focuses energy into their hand closer to the ball end of the chain, then rapidly slides their hand down and slams it against the ball. The energy used in this technique causes the ball to launch out in the direction that the user was aiming it. Can only travel twenty five feet. Rip Ball Rank: B Requires: Energy Description: This is an interesting and deceptively ranked technique in the Ball-and-Chain style. The user focuses energy into the center of the ball, which in turn causes it to begin vibrating. This vibration is not noticeable just by looking at the orb, only by actually touching it. If this strikes someone or something though, the vibrations suddenly kick into overdrive, and the orb will tear through A-rank defenses.
Skull Crusher Rank: Description: The user, while spinning the chain counter clockwise from their view, will leap into the air. While in the air, they will swing down as they fall, bringing the ball crashing down into someone's head. Technique Contributed by: The Urban Superstition
Chain Chomp Rank: A Requires: Energy, Expert Rank, Description: This is one of the most surprising and devastating technique of a Ball And Chain wielder. They focus a tremendous amount of energy into the ball, a process that actually takes a fair bit of time. (Two posts) After this, when the technique activates, a split opens up in the ball, and teeth appear. The ‘ball head’ becomes semi-sentient, and will actually pursue target a fair distance, trying to bite them. The Chain Chomp can only travel one hundred yards away from the user though, as the chain that appears when this technique is used only extends that far. The Chain Chomp’s teeth can punch through steel. Lasts for fifteen posts.
Tornado Strikeb Rank: A Requires: Energy, Buzz Saw Blur Description: An intimidating technique of the Ball and Chain style. The wielder performs the Buzz Saw Blur to lighten the load of the ball and begins spinning it above their head, identical to the Buzz Saw Blur. However, the wielder encases the ball in a thin envelope of energy, one that shifts to create a trail in the air behind it. By changing the angle of the swing on each rotation, the user creates a veritable tornado , one that gains an effect from the user’s primary elemental leaning. -Fire: Tornado is created of fire -Water: Thin streams of water are laced throughout the ‘tornado’, creating a slicing effect. -Wind: Tornado drags stuff towards it via a vorpal effect. -Earth: Small stones fill the tornado, adding crushing damage onto the attack beyond just the normal ball.
Grand Chomp Rank: S Requires: Energy, Expert Rank, Knight Class, Chain Chomp Description: Possibly the most terrifying technique of the Ball-and-Chain style. The wielder focuses a gargantuan amount of energy into the ball, taking even more time than before. (Four Posts) When the technique is charged, a few differences are instantly noticeable. First, the ball swells to massive proportions, now easily twice as tall as a Giant, and just as wide across. Then, whether or not the original ball had them, three foot spikes appear along the orb. The mouth that appears is large enough to envelope a full-grown human or being of equal size, and the teeth are five feet long. This Chomp has a greatly increased range (five hundred yards) and durations (thirty posts), but can only be used by Knights. This Chomp can bite through anything that is less than S-ranked in toughness, and will dent S-ranked materials. It is also nearly fully sentient, and seeks to protect its user at all times.

UNIQUE TO HARUKI ONLY, YOU WANNA BOX, FIND THAT TEN YEAR OLD!!! BoxingDestuctive/Merciless/Greatest Since the dawn of time, fighting with ones body has been paramount to development. Boxing is among the oldest and has been constantly changed to fit the needs of every fighter. It's the strongest and fastest of it's kind and focuses on forcing the enemy to submit. Every single bone breaking strike is what made boxing what it is, but it's focus on not killing enemies may be a let down for more bloodthirsty combatants. A kill can be made by boxing if repeated blows connect to a defeated foe, but it's over all focus is peaceful resolution to conflicts of today's world in comparasion to other fighting styles. Boxing is the only style that stresses the use of combinations to it's limit, combos are what make fighters the greatest. Stage 1 Training boxing skills is simple and very rewarding. The one training often finds themselves beating on any object that's solid enough to take a few blows. The user knows next to knowing about the true power of boxing when they start. As they move on, they'll find their blows stronger and stronger, just like any other style. ShuffleRank E Description: Shuffling is a skill paramount to advancing as a boxer and is often chained to other techniques. The user uses their quick footwork to dodge incoming blows they can see. After doding the blow if they can, the boxer throws a hard blow to their opponent's torso if they don't chain another attack with it. This skill is simple and not as useful as it could be for starters, but it'll help. PunishRank D Description: A fitting name for this uppercut, as it punishes the enemy if it connects. The skill itself may look simple, but it has enough force to stagger all but the strongest foes. Their are no added strings except for one. If this skill connects with the enemy's chin, it sends them flying with the force of a C-Rank attack, but it's doubtful anybody will let themself get hit in the chin that easily. Stage 2This stage makes the boxer harder and stronger than ever before. While training, they must be running day in and day out, forcing them to gain the speed they need to be the greatest. One would find themselves as tough as stone and ready to beat anybody to near-death that crossed them. They also find themselves a little faster than before, their hitting speed increases to match good foes. Dirty FightingRank D Requires: Shuffle Description: After using shuffle, the boxer moves in quickly and steps on their opponent's foot to keep them from moving. They then quickly land a harsh blow in their opponent's weak spot for massive damage. Followed by an elbow strike to the face. One would say this kind of fighting is unhonorable for a boxer, but any technique helps when not in the ring. Rising StarRank D Requires: Punish Description: The boxer may have not connected the uppercut to their foe's face, but if they hit them at all with punish, they can push with a bit more force and rise in to the air with their foe. When in the air, both parties are defenseless, but if the boxer has enough discipline, this won't bother them as they begin to lay waste to their foe. A smart boxer would also think about fighting in places with edges, a good blow would throw the enemy off a ledge while the boxer remains grounded. Stun RushRank D Requires: Shuffle Description: After dodging an enemy's blow, instead of going straight for them, the boxer takes an agressive stance and rushes to thir side. If the enemy turns, then it's worse luck for them as the boxer begins a hard rush to stun them. Throwing every blow they can, the boxer quite possibly stunned their foe with the fierce power they held. It's basically just a lot of punches, but nobody can doubt it's power and it's numbers either. FangRank D Description: The user throws a vicious hook towards their enemy. If it connects and the foe is force to look down, the user brings down a heavy blow on their head, flooring them with enough power to make anybody hurt if it was them. This is one of boxing's easy techniques, it may look weak from a distance but it's power is real. Stage 3The boxer becomes even more of a wal of pain in this stage, adding even more punishing combo's in to their repertoire. They are still focused on ending their opponent without killing them outright, but as blows become stronger, they need to try harder not to kill their foe. They train themselves by swinging their fists quickly, so fast that they can barely be seen. Shadow BoxingRank C Description: This is a simple punch, but it's power could easily knock an opponent to the ground in intense pain. A forward strike so fast it can't be seen will catch the opponent off guard and possibly strike them in the face, the force is so strong it could easily break a nose. This can be aimed anywhere, but is more effective against the enemy's face. Heavenly ComboRank: B Description: The user gets in to a defensive stance and attacks without warning. Not only are they defend against up to C-Rank techniques, including weapons, but they are striking the enemy quickly, leaving reminders that when the punch hit, it hurt. A possibility of this combo is knocking the enemy out if every hit connects, the combo itself will leave anybody speechless. This move is pretty graceful for a style that focuses on forward rushing and flatout hitting the enemy until they faint. Stage 4In this stage, the boxer is toughened to the point of being able to stay awake by pure willpower. Their intense strength came from the training they did that turned children in to men, that seperated the strong from the weak, that made them the ultimate fighting machine. As long as they are focused on their body, nothing could go wrong, but they must now constantly condition their body to ensure they don't become weak again. This is where the true power is. Hellfire ComboRank A Requires: Shuffle, Heavenly Combo, Rising Star, Fang Description: The boxer changes up their style up a little and attacks with enough force to break the toughest materials. Dodging their foe, the opponent opens with a heavenly combo, but attacks with so much force one would think that the devil himself were fighting. After they injure their opponent to a signifigant degree, they uppercut them in to the air and follow after. To finish them off, the boxer punches them in to the ground with a fang. If you're caught in this attack, escape is near impossible. K.O!!!Rank A Requires: Shadow Boxing, Energy Description: The boxer uses a skill that can take a foe out with just one touch. If they connect a punch to their enemy's chest they can push out a large amount of energy and increase it's force, breaking their enemy' bones and putting them in intense pain, also throwing them off their feet. This technique drops mobility in the user's arms and turns their strength to 0 for ten posts. It can only be used twice per battle. If the user misses, they won't lose the use of their arms and can try again, even though they just wasted one of their tries. Stage 5This is the final stage the user must master to become the greatest boxer alive. All their training needs to pay off as they learn the strongest techniques their style has to offer. They now run solely on the power of will, only death can stop those crazy enough to get to this stage. Their body is tough, they are quick, and every blow they land makes the enemy quiver in fear that it'll be the last thing they feel. Luckily boxers are all about "peaceful" solutions. UnleashedRank S Requires: Energy Description: The user does a tough body blow that sends everything it hits flying. Hitting a normal human would likely cause internal bleeding. If one were to inspect the wound that followed, they'd find a red fist imprinted in their body. After three posts, the user's S-Rank energy explodes on the target in a show of brilliant fireworks, a fitting show for the greatest. The damage it does is A-Ranked and it will never kill the enemy, horribly injure and possibly mentally scar yes. Kill, no. Berserker Only TechniquesHype Up Rank C Requires: Energy Description: The boxer uses some of their energy to get themselves psyched up for a fight. For ten posts their strength and speed are increased by one. As soon as their moral drops, they lose one point in strength and speed for fifteen posts. Hopefully the battle would have been over by that time.

Akira Style Elegant, Silent, Fast

--The Style was developed by a Rogue Succubus, named Akira. She developed the technique for a quick kill on men that she had seduced, after time had spread of her mass killings, people began to hunt her. They came rushing in to kill her in the country of Nocturne where they were tipped off she was staying. In the night which she was cornered, it was said that 50 men were killed with the style. The Style consist of a basic slim figure and a Fan that has a solid bladed side. --
Rules and Restrictions - Users of the Style must have a slim figure - Users must have a speed of 5 or more - Fans can have add-on's to it (ie, Senbon's, needles, grip) but be realistic please... It's a Fan, not a backpack. - Users must have TWO fans, not one. - To move onto the next Stage you must finish the stage before it.
Stage 1: Akira- Speed: The most basic of all stances, movements are simple and often revolve around solid foot movements with watery arm gestures. The user begins with both legs together and their arms to their side…
- The First Akira: Blade Rank: E Description: The user’s hands come up to elbow height and are then extended outward until straight. Fan(s) are then flicked open, and the user cuts quickly with a backhanding motion.
- The First Akira: Motion Rank: E Description: The user presses their weight to a leg, leans forward, and sweeps with the opposite, knocking most off balance.
- The First Akira: React Rank: E Description: With fans open, the user crosses their arms across their chest, forming an ‘X’ slash. With a simplistic motion, the user returns to the Stance One position.
- The First Akira: Complete Rank: D Description: The user raises both arms till they are straight, then flicks both wrists, causing the fans to open wide in a back slashing motion- meanwhile, the left foot is shifted forward. The user will then lean forward, arms curling to their back, and perform a sweep kick with the right. If successful, the user will finish by slicing their target in an ‘X’ formation by swinging both fans forward, and finally return to the Stance One position.
- Grace Rank: D Description: The user tightens their leg muscles, but still retains their swiftness. For a short while, the user cannot be knocked off balance by D or C ranked techniques Duration: Lasts 6 Posts
Stage 2 Akira- Balance: The user has a rough understanding of how to retain balance in most positions, but is still clumsy in awkward positions. The movements of this stance are based around sturdy yet soft footing with fan utilization. The user begins with hands at torso level and knees are slightly bent
- The Second Akira: Snap Rank: D Description: The user sends one of their feet forward, causing them to assume a near ducking position, it is a simple maneuver to dodge
- The Second Akira: Chop Rank: D Description: While in any form of ducking position, the user will slide their fans together from chest level, causing a pair of parallel horizontal slashes
- The Second Akira: Fold Rank: C Description: While the fans are atop one another (horizontal or vertical), and at torso level, the user will emit a very light blast of energy by clapping both fans shut. This burst of energy is elementless, and capable of pushing most people away, it can also deflect D ranked projectile or weak bullets
- The Second Akira: Complete Rank: B Description: From any ducking position, the user slides their fans together from chest level, once horizontal, and once more vertically. After the hit is confirmed, the user will snap both fans shut, letting loose a burst of null element energy that deals moderate damage and pushes the target back roughly two yards. During the time the target is sent away, the user will either spin around once rising and assuming the Stance One position, or continue into a combination
Stage 3 Akira- Elegance: The user is now accustomed to strange positions, and is able to retain strength and grace even within the most pressing of situations. Quick and sturdy movements can be performed even when ducking or bent backwards. The user begins from a bent back position or almost fully ducking position…
- The Third Akira: Flip Rank: C Description: From either a ducking position or bent back position, the user will slide back on their hands, performing a hand stand. From this position they lift one of their arms, and quickly extend the opposite leg, equaling the weight. If the opponent is close enough they will likely be kicked by the extending of the leg, or will be within slashing reach of the free hand and fan
- The Third Akira: Slip Rank: C Description: The user will bend their arms while standing on them (or one) and slowly slide to a held position on their forearm(s). From here, they will bend in their legs, and slip under or around an opponent. While sliding on the ground (on either back or stomach) the user can very easily slash with their fans.
- The Third Akira: Rise Rank: B Description: By recovering from a sliding or downed position, the user will lift themselves with either leg and use the momentum to force forward or backward. With the boost of movement, they will then beautifully spin, bringing both arms in full circular slashing motion. (Can be performed with fans open or closed)
- The Third Akira: Complete Rank: A Description: From a bent back, or almost completely ducking position, the user with lift themselves with either arm, quickly bringing up their opposite leg in an attempt to kick anyone in the immediate area. From this single hand stand position, the user will bend till their elbow makes contact with the ground, whence this has happened they will curl their legs into their stomach and press off with a mighty oomph- causing them to slide on the ground to their target. When the desired distance has been reached, the user will lift up with either leg and use the momentum built up by the slide to spin around, arms balleting in a circular fashion
- Enhanced Step Rank: D Description: The user channels chakra through their feet to perform a quick strike or dodge
- Energy Slash Rank: D Description: The user channels chakra through their hands into their fans before striking, or to send a wave style slash towards their opponent Range: Max range of 10 meters
- Elemental Burst Rank: C Description: The user channels their elemental energy into their fan to send a gale of wind with a simple back waving motion. The wind shares the element of your choosing, which could result in a searing wind, if fire, or say a chilling wind, if water. Range: Max range of 15 meters
Stage 4 Akira- Coordination: Having understood Elegance, Speed, and Balance, the user now learns how to use the fans as if an extension of their own two hands. They can now perform a wealth of weapon attacks without requiring a hard grip upon their fans. It is also likely by this point that the user is completely aware of their fans, and no longer have to carry the troubled thoughts of self-harm…
- The Fourth Akira: Twirl Rank: C Description: The user will motion their fan, open, upon a single finger, spinning it like a pin wheel. The bladed fan will likely be able to slice through flesh as if a rotary saw
- The Fourth Akira: Exchange Rank: B Description: While spinning both fans at once, the user will flip them up into the air and catch them with the index fingers on the opposite hands, continuing the spinning motion. Though this seems trivial, it becomes apparent why the technique was developed later on
- The Fourth Akira: Point Rank: B Description: The user extends both arms, forward, and flips both fans together using their wrists- the two appearing as one. Again, using only their wrists, the user will flip both fans upward, and throw one high overhead. They will then spin around, to catch the falling fan. During this spin, the user is both nimble and deadly, as they have full usage of the hand still bearing a fan
- The Fourth Akira: Complete Rank: A Description: While spinning their fans atop their fingers, the user will quickly exchange the fans to opposite hands…after catching each fan, the user will flip both fans upward, making it appear as though there is only one fan. They will then proceed by flipping the fan upward, as a distraction, spin backward or forward (depending on how the fan is thrown) and catch the falling fan with their open hand. During this nimble step, the user has complete control over a likely distracted target, allowing them to slice with the hand still holding a fan
- Return Rank: B Description: The user will attach a light line of energy to the handle of their fan before throwing them at an opponent, causing them to retract on the user’s whim. This technique can also be applied to the fans if they have been knocked out of the users hands. Range: Max range 10 yards
-
Stage 5 Akira- Focus: After coming to a complete understanding of the previous methods, the user is now at the point of learning the most important lesson- Focus… Through vast meditation, the user begins to discover how to control their powers with precession, and power, without seeming lethal. The moves of this stance are slow, but exact…
- The Fifth Akira: Crescent Description: The user shifts one foot to cross the other, bending it as they step. During this simple movement, they will also raise one arm, fan open, in a swinging motion, meanwhile, the opposite arm is performing an exact mirrored action…If in a condensed area, both fans should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor, but never actually make contact
- The Fifth Akira: Full Moon Rank: B Description: From a dipping and spinning position, the user will shift forward, twisting around while weaving both arms through the air, both fans open. Each fan should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor but never actually make contact
- The Fifth Akira: Shifting Moon Rank: B Description: With a twisting, rotating, step, the user will flip both fans overhead, coming to a full rotation, they will then catch both fans by the flat tips of the blades. This is a simple evading step technique that can also dazzle the opponent
- The Fifth Akira: Darting Moon Rank: A Requirements: Requires three additional posts to learn Description: The user will take their open fans by the flat tip of the blade and fling them like a disc at an incredible speed. Because of the beautiful speed, the fans become more like rotating saw blades than anything else, able to cut through most organic materials, aside tempered metal and crystal. But, their power and speed is not their only benefit…because of the way these fans are tossed, they will return to the user even if they make full impact on the initial toss, operating more like a boomerang than anything else. However, if the user is not very well taught in this technique, it can result in their own hand removal…
- The Fifth Akira: Complete Rank: S Description: The user begins by shifting one foot over the other, kneeling as they move forward bringing one open fan overhead, and the other in a lower swinging motion, mimicking the overhead. After the swing has come to a finish, they will perform a mirrored technique, on the opposite foot. With one arm and fan still high, the user will then throw that fan up, catching it as it comes back on its bladed edge. To finish, the user will fling the fan at incredible speeds, causing it to appear as if a solid razor ring- Because of the spin on the fan, the thing will return to the thrower even if it makes impact on the initial throw.
- Peace Rank: B Requirements: Cannot move for two posts Description: The user remains perfectly still for a short amount of time and regenerates enough energy to perform two additional B ranked techniques
Swordmaster Only Techniques
- Carousel of Death Rank: Description: The user spins both open fans amongst a single arm, after increasing their stamina and stability via energy infusion, creating a full spread pinwheel of blades- Due to the speed they are spun, it seems more like the user’s arm is simply enveloped in rotating saws. Able to cut through steel and dent Diamond if Sage Rank.
Succubus Only Techniques
- Flickering Beauty Rank: D Description: While performing any move, light flickers, or glitter are left behind, serving as a minor, tiny distraction.
- Kiss of Death Rank: S Description: The user channels chakra into the tips of the blades of their fans, causing each point to glow a deep purple color. Though this effect does not last long, the rewards are immense…If the opponent is cut by these glowing edges, they will be inflicted with a viral poison that will slowly begin to eat away at their body. If it is not cleansed within 3 posts, the user will grow faint- if it is not cleansed within 6 posts, the user will faint- and finally, if the poison is not cleansed within 10 posts, the user will die a slow painful death Duration: 4 Posts

azzurro: I'm liking this style, but two things before I take an in depth look into anymore of its skills. First I need you to mention how training should be done for each stage in the style. Second is that if your skill can be done normally without energy, don't bother making it a move. For example, the First Akira: Motion, where you just sweep an opponent's legs. I can get this might be a unique step to the style, but anybody could do that. There's no real reason why they should have to use energy to perform it. My suggestion would be to either talk with Flaming Amarant about this, as he's helped styles in the past with this similar problem, and instead of making a simple kick or motion be a move, turn it into a well-thought out combo.

I think that would be just a bit confusing azzurro. Can't you just describe the training method and let the users learn the stage skills on their own time like the other styles?
