I agree with mehulk, but the fact that they keep making new ones is a great thing, mainly cause, although they should've done this a LONG time ago, they're adapting to what nature has. If it wasn't for the new Pokemon, we wouldn't have seasonal ones, which is actually interesting to me. But I despise having to waste about 50 bucks just to get a new damn game. I would rather wait until they quit and make a single game that includes all Pokemon or some crap, or better yet, emulate all of the games.
But yeah, they're getting close to 1000, which is sort of... boring now. I only liked Gen 1 and 2. I suppose that 3 was okay, but only for a while. The feeling that 1 and 2 gave me just felt very Pokemon-y. Made me feel like a true trainer, rather than... well... idk. Something just felt awkward about the new ones.

i like the first three generations. they actually had a challenge. i have soulsilver and its nothing like the original silver version. like omfg silver version back then was ten times harder than soul silver. and its like "we had to do freakn hard as hell stuff back then and your letting the newer players get it easy?" like come on give them a challenge

Yeah I agree, they did soften up on SS and HG. It probably was just the immense amount of new things that sort of alleviated things, cause now we have just about enough to play with strategy, unlike back then where everything was based on luck and you wasting hours on maxing their stats and stuff. What would be interesting to see next, although I'm not really a fan of it, is a remake of Ruby and Sapphire. I'm just curious about what they would do for it.

Forever Red, Yellow, and Silver...
Red because of the memories. I literally remember myself being in Wal-Mart, the day I got my first one. Though all I remember is me standing in front of the cashier area with the box in my hands. o-o Good times...
Not sure how I got Yellow, but Silver... I remember being in some department store with the cartridge in my hands, me staring it down at how shiny it was............. ;-; GOD I'M GETTING OLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD................... *plays "The Kids of Yesterday"* I'M AN OLD-TIMER TO THE NEW GENERATION..... crying

I didn't read past the link, but once I saw Cloyster, I lol'd and my first instinct was to say something about it. xD Guess that proves the conspiracy that all Pokemon can not escape uh... whatever Anonymous rule it was.... o-o Rule 34, I think.
Charmeleon is pretty cool, one of my favorites. p: And Croagunk looks bad a**. Latios and Latias look like some sort of... idk, typical anime with seriously bad a** suits. I think it reminds me of one of those pixie things from Bleach that Orihime has... >_>

Out of all of em, you'd find me to be Poliwrath. wink Or Poliwag. p: Was my first Pokemon card ever, so it became a symbol of my life. I find it interesting how a lot of people post up Pokemon pictures on facebook. Most of the time, it matches their looks and personality. I think it's a very curious thing. I even proved that it's possible to determine someone's Pokemon when me and a crew of mine were arguing about that, and we tried to identify someone, and me and a friend called out "Machop" at the same time. The guy's a jock, but he has that very small stature which makes him look like one lol. p: It's fun stuff, though I can't really say I see a Poliwrath in myself. Can't say I have one. >:
