He blushed a little as he smiled at her. She was really cute when she laughed and she had a point to what she said.
"Yeah I guess your right." he chuckled. "I would try to kick me too." He had been looking away when he chuckled and didn't notice she had moved on to the hill. He looked back surprised to see she was gone and jumped up quickly following behind her when he noticed she was up ahead.
"Yeah..." he peeked his head out. "So um... what do you want to do?"

The vixen giggled. "Why, fill our bellies, of course! We got to show these deer whose top of the food chain." With a quick like to Hazumi's ear, she burst down into the field with a battle cry that ended in laughter. One can't always be serious about hunting!
The deer freaked out and split, and quickly Subira targeted a juicy doe. She wasn't protecting little ones, so no guilt would come from this. "Huzah!" The swirled vixen flew through the air, her teeth and claws catching deer rump. Of course, it bucked and kicked and clipped Subira in the side, but she kicked back, tripping the doe, and in a second it was over. Licking blood from her muzzle, she looked back to see how the male was doing.

"Oh of course!" He then blushed when his stomach gave a rather loud rumble. He glanced around nervously then looked at her. "That wasn't me..." He gave a shy smile. "Cause you know... if it was that would be... well..." He cleared his throat. "Right behind you." He nodded as he response to showing the deer who was at the top of the food chain.
He watched her take off and couldn't help but just sit there for a moment and watch her. She was strong and a fast runner. He was surprised that she was laughing as she ran but that made him smile. He was always told that hunting was a serious thing, yet here she was laughing about it. He chuckled as he ran off after her. He flew down the hill with speed and managed to find his target. One of the males had strayed away from the running group.
Hazumi grinned as he saw his chance. He took off after the male. He figured it he could take him down it would impress the little vixen he was with. The male spotted him of course before he got close and it started a rather interesting chase. Hazumi had to really work for it. Finally after zig zagging and jumping over obstacles he managed to take it down. Catching it by the neck he brought it down to the ground.

By the time her new friend had succeeded, Subira was rolling on the ground in laughter. What a show! That deer led Hazumi this was and that way and up and around... That poor fox had to be dizzy!
She was impressed, though, with the determination and drive the male had once he targeted a deer. Nothing could shake him from the hunt, and though it was anything but fast it was indeed successful. "Impressive!" The vixen cried out to him when she was trying to stop laughing long enough to breathe. She wasn't amused, rather, but entertained and amazed at the whole flight. Had it been her that was chasing that deer, he'd have gotten away for Suba would have veered off after an easier catch. She wasn't worried about impressing others, she knew her strength limits as a vixen, and she'd rather not make herself more hungry by using up all her energy on a meal she knew she couldn't catch.
The lavender male, however, was quite able and strong and quick on his paws, and Su admired that. "Shall we wrestle these beasts to the trees over there, dine under the shade?"

once he finally brought the deer down Hazumi ended up falling to the ground panting. He had never worked so hard in his life to catch something to eat. He was tired and didn't want to move. He knew he could have easily picked another target but he was already close to catching that one that he didn't want to give up. He glanced up at the female watching him and blushed.
"Um... actually... can we just eat here...? Im not sure if I could move..." He gave a nervous laugh.
