I think it's fascinating to think about. However stubbornly taurean you think you are, Aries are also stubborn. And pushy, and fiery, independant, and head strong.
I'm actually trying to be open to the possibilities. My astrology teacher made a valid point today about growing up with these traits and almost shaping ourselves around them because we believe in this system. But what my astronomy professor is teaching me is different from what my astrology teacher does.
We can still believe in the old system, you just can't claim it has anything to do with the stars anymore.
Actually, I didn't know jack about Astrology until a couple years ago. I knew I was a Taurus, but had no idea what that meant. So I certainly didn't simply fill into the mold I was taught. And I know lots of people who know nothing about astrology and don't believe in it at all. But they're still very much their sign.
And as headstrong as Aries may be, he's many things I'm not. Hotheaded, pushy, ambitious, careless....
So no, it's not really a valid point.

Ok, but you're still ignoring my points about actual astronomy.
That's because it's irrelevant. It's been a known scientific fact, for a long time, that the stars are no longer aligned with the traditional zodiac. And people have gotten on with it, just fine. The issue is that some scientist randomly decides to alter a system of spiritual belief, that has had little to do with science, since it was first formed.

Eli is probably pisces. Especially with the jesus fish reference.

Salmoneaous.... Sagittarius perhaps?
Velasca.... Aries with a Capricorn moon.
Ephiny.... Libra... maybe?
Eli.... definitely a Pisces. whee

I agree with you on Virgil, and Eli, definitely. (lol jesus fish)

I don't disagree with you on Velasca, but I'm curious about why you think she has a Capricorn moon.

For Salmonaeous, I think he's more of a Gemini, and I think Ephiny is a Virgo.

Yeah, I agree with Ehmi on Ephiny. (Hey, they sound alike!)
And I see Velasca having some Leo, too. (Over sensitive pride, much?)

The whole sidereal zodiac is new information to me. I always thought that when the moon changed signs, it was because it moved in front of a new constellation. Those terminologies just don't make sense anymore. I'm fine with the sun signs being season based, but what about all the other planets? We say they transit, and move into different signs. Is everyone saying that they assign seasons to every planet, moon, and floating ice chunk in our solar system and keep track of the zodiac that way? If they do, then I don't care about Ophicheus or whatever, but if it is about the stars at all, then I think it should be used.

No way is Sal a Gemini. He's always got his foot in his mouth! He's totally a Sagittarius.
