The change back was almost as fun to watch as the first, but not quite. There was something about shrinking that didn't fit the bill of awesomeness the way growing did. Nevertheless, the sides of her eyes crinkled in lieu of a smile when he was back to his humanoid self, and she glanced down at his hand before her own reached out and took it. Her long fingers curled almost completely around in his grasp.

Always.

With that response, Jericho started to head on towards the cafeteria with Riley. As hungry as he was, he didn't really mind having to deal with the food there.

"Since you said you haven't been to the cafeteria... where or what have you been eating exactly?" he asked while glancing towards her. Hunting around here didn't seem all that plausible. Well, at least without students or minipets going missing and trouble being caused. Then again, there seemed to be an abundance of certain minipet species that turning some into food wouldn't really do much to the population at all.

Riley rolled her eyes just thinking about the answer to that question. I have private meals delivered, frozen - I keep them in the freezer in my dorm. You can't imagine how dull frozen brains taste. I've been trying to season them with different things lately.. sugar has been my favorite so far. I've developed a bit of a sweet tooth. She barely stifled a giggle just thinking about how ridiculous her new affection for sugar was. I'll eat just about anything with enough sugar in it.

She took to the steps, careful to stay at his side without bumping into him. I mean, I can pretty much eat almost anything, as long as it isn't too big or too hard. But it won't give me the sustenance to survive, so it's pretty pointless. Hence, the frozen brains. She made a face, her features scrunching up. Blech.

Frozen meals certainly did not seem all that enjoyable, though the thought of Riley having a sweet tooth was amusing. Especially since.. she currently had no teeth to speak of. Jericho at least had something in mind if he ever wanted to give her food.

"Hm. Well, I guess the alternative is to take any stray minipets around. Though with the way some act I doubt there'd be much of a brain to them," he idly mused.

Oh, no, there's definitely a menu in the forest. I've been scouting, I look forward to an actual hunting trip. I have my eye on a few specific creatures that look like they have exceptional craniums. What a morbid subject, but she spoke of it as if it was lighthearted and easygoing. I simply haven't had the chance yet - the only time I actually went out hunting, I was assaulted by a large group of students playing a game of Truth or Dare. She covered her face with one hand. Never play that game, by the way. She murmured, turning a lovely shade of dark purple. Not while in this school.

"The forest hm? I'll have to check that out myself. I don't suppose some of the critters you saw there looked meaty did they?" he asked while pondering what might lurk in those woods. Jericho soon raised a brow at the mention of a game of Truth or Dare. Despite her warning, he kind of wanted to see how that went. Then again perhaps it was for the better that he was out for that. With a game like that, there was a chance he'd end up setting something on fire after all.

"What... exactly was dared?" he asked somewhat cautiously, noting that she was blushing. Had everyone been dared to strip down to nothing?

She didn't want to get into too much detail, so she generalized the more interesting dares of the night. There was a lot of kissing. A -lot-. And a few students were dared to undress right in front of us and switch clothing. There was also an abundance of alcohol present. All in all, it was a gathering of debauchery. Of course, none of the things Riley listed were situations she had really minded. They were simply the ones that she felt comfortable mentioning.

Don't worry. If you're so curious, you could always ignore my warning and go the next time they have their little meeting. She nudged his arm with her shoulder as she teased him. I'm sure they'll be all too happy to have you.

The things listed were what he expected really, especially since there was alcohol present. That stuff always seemed to make a situation more wild and all.

"Heh, that is very true. But I think I'll pass. I'd rather not have to swap clothing with another," he said, shuddering at the thought of having to wear something like... Sin's outfit or anything else exceedingly feminine. For one thing it'd probably be uncomfortably tight on him.

Arriving to the cafeteria, Jericho looked over the menu briefly before deciding to go with a burger. Whether or not that thing was really made of meat was questionable, but it was probably the closest thing he could get for the time being.

"See anything you want?"

Riley eyed his coat, reaching out with her free hand and tugging on the collar. Aww, are you sure? I'm sure you could pull off my outfit, and I here I was hoping to try your coat on. She snickered, and bent her head up to take a look at the menu as well. She had guessed correctly - nothing sounded appetizing. Nevertheless, she'd try something. The best choice was the jolly meal, simply because Malodore had told her to try it.

Not want, but I'll get a jolly meal. I'm sure I can find some use for it. Besides.. it comes with a drink. That drink is likely to contain vast amounts of sugar. I will not complain.

"Not too bad of a choice," grinned Jericho, "The drink is pretty sugary so if anything you'll get some of that."

After grabbing his food, he turned towards Riley with a quirked brow. Then, with a mild grin, he added "You know if you really wanted, you could wear my coat for a bit. Just as long as I get it back of course."

Riley reluctantly let his hand go, and picked up the silly looking box with one hand, and an empty cup with another. As she filled it with the green ooze, she briefly reconsidered whether getting the drink was a wise choice after all. Her tentacle reached out, sticking it's tip into the cup even as it filled.

Hm, not bad. Definitely sugary.

She lidded her drink, and carried her food away. As they headed for a table, she considered his offer. Really? She quirked, giving the coat an appreciative look, before chuckling. It would clash so terribly with my outfit. Let's try it. She put her food down on a table, and held out her arms. Her eyes were slit in amusement - it was such a silly thing, but it was fun.

It was interesting to see Riley drink considering she had no mouth, which made him wonder just how the tentacles managed to eat something solid. Maybe she did something similar to how some insects and arachnids ate... basically turning it to mush before drinking or absorbing it. Then again, maybe he didn't really want to know the specifics.

Chuckling at her, he set his food down on the table as well, before removing his coat.

"Alright, go for it," he said while offering it to her. It... definitely wasn't going to fit in with her outfit for sure but it should be amusing to see in the least.

Unfortunately, in asking Riley to come have a meal with him, he just set himself up to see exactly how it was done, whether he wanted to or not. Sorry Jericho.

She took the coat, and slipped it on one arm at a time. The coat fit snugly in certain areas, and loose in others - it was clearly built for a man. She did not attempt to close it around her bust, but instead let it sit open and looked at herself from side to side. She tried to take it seriously for a moment, but then looked up at Jericho and couldn't help but laugh.

I know. I look ridiculous. I can't believe how warm it is, though. Do you always radiate this much heat? She felt like she was wearing a heated blanket, it was soothing. What would you expect from a dragon's coat, though?

She held up the back and slid into her seat smoothly, then waited for him to do the same. He was hungry, after all.

First appeared a grin, but then Jericho couldn't help but laugh along with Riley as he saw her wearing his coat. Aside from not physically fitting her, it didn't mesh all too well with her in general.

"Pretty much. I guess it's more noticeable when I'm in this form than when I have scales," he nodded while sitting across from her, "It's a part of the reason why cold affects me as much as it does though."

Picking up the burger, he went on to take a bite out of it. As soon as he did, the thing let out a shriek as if it was in pain, causing his eye to twitch from discomfort. It was one thing about the meals that was rather unpleasant, but then again, some things he has hunted before made similar wails. The major difference was that those things were able to be silenced. He hadn't had much of a chance to figure out how to do that with the food here.

Riley was delighted to see that the burger Jericho bit into did indeed squeak. This was promising! Something that reacted to pain had to have some sort of nervous system, didn't it? Well, she was about to find out. She opened up her Jolly Meal, trying not to touch the part of the box that had a face on it in case that came to life at any point, and put her burger on the table. Four of her tentacles came to life, rising up menacingly behind her. They curved around, and their ends turned rigid, like solid spikes pointed dangerously at the burger in front of her. She paused there, and gave Jericho a look. The look said, 'maybe you don't want to watch this'. Looking around their table for a moment, she picked up one of those folded paper menus and unfolded it, then held it in front of the burger.

Her tentacles dove into burger like stakes, drilling effortlessly in. Splatterings of condiments hit the paper, and they soaked through to show spots that slowly dripped downwards. The sound of the burger's screams were cut quite short, followed by a gurgle and then.. silence. Or, silence from the burger, at least - the sound of Riley's penetrating tentacles still squished quietly behind the curtain of paper.

She had a look of concentration, but finally her eyes opened and then slit in happiness. Excellent. She murmured, as a soft sucking sound was heard and she put the paper down. The burger was now a monstrosity, but one of her tentacles held a tiny, meaty brain in her hands. VICTORY.

I was so hoping.
