"Aaah, so we missed them?" Elysia asked, feeling a bit remorseful. She knew Ari had wanted to hear a story...but if they didn't find something else to read, she'd be sure to have storytime for him when they got home. "My Little Pony? Oh wow, they had those when I was a kid," she added, laughing. She did remember My Little Pony, and a bunch of other cartoons from her childhood. They were all pretty quality, she thought. "Masculinity is overrated when you're a dad," she said with a giggle. It was good to see a father that wasn't afraid to do girly things with his daughter.
"Sissy's fun, tho time I saw her last I put gwass in her face, an' she not like dat," he told her, coming clean about his incident with Mia. "Never know!" Ari exclaimed. "May bee you get a sissy too."

"I guess so. When she and Ting starts playing dress up I guess I'll have to be the fairy godmother. I'm sure I'll look just lovely with a tutu and wand," he laughed, seeming a bit amused of the prospect. He wasn't much of a macho guy, but a tutu was pushing it just a bit. "I used to have to play with my sisters, so it's not that far of a stretch to play with my daughter," he explained, tipping his chair back a bit.
Isa's face lit up with a wide grin and her ears instantly perked up, "Reay?" She would have loved a sister, even a brother if the case should be. Her mommy, her old mommy that Ting had told her about, was different than her mommy Ting, but maybe she would bring a little brother or sister for her when she came to visit? A little brother or sister for Isa! That would be the best ever.

"You'd be lovely as a fairy godmother!" Elysia said, turning a bit to flutter her wings at him. "And you can have some of these too. They'd look wonderful with your tutu and wand." The silver-haired woman giggled, glad that he had a sense of humor. Not everyone would like to think of themselves dressed as a fairy godmother. "I'm sure Isa will love having you to play with," she smiled, nodding.
Looking down at her watch, she realized that it was far later than she thought. My, had the time gone by so quickly? "Gosh, it's late! I should get home. It's about time to start getting dinner ready for the family..."
"YEP! Mebee one day," he told her, nodding like he knew what he was talking about. Hearing his mother pipe up about leaving, Ari's expression turned into a frown. It was time to go already! He liked Isa, and he was having a good time. "Gosta go Isa. Isee you 'gin?" he asked her.

He nodded, glancing at the time himself, "Yeah, it's about that time isn't it. I think I'll be grabbing something for dinner for us, doubt Ting'll be up to cooking. Or rather, I don't think I'll be up for her cooking." More often than not they just ate out, since he was usually too busy to cook and Ting's food was usually somewhat... Toxic. He got to his feet, tipping his sunglasses back down over his eyes. "Isa, ready to go home with daddy?" he asked, crouching down to be closer to her eye level.
"Have to?" Isa asked, her expression a pout for her father. It worked when her mom did it, and most of the time when she did it, but this time it didn't seem like it would. When he nodded, she turned back to Ari, "Yeah, 'gin!"

"Well, good luck with the dinner-finding," Elysia said with a smile. "It was great to meet you Andreas. I'm sure we'll do it again sometime. The kids look like they really like each other." She leaned down and picked Ari off the ground, grunting a bit under his weight. He was getting bigger (and heavier) every day, she knew. Soon, he'd be a child--and boy, would that be a change! "C'mon kid, let's get going."
"Otay mama," he said, nodding. "See yous 'gin Isa!" He waved at daughter and father, and kept his gaze on Isa on the way out of the Agency. He'd decided that she was a good friend.

Andreas smiled, nodding a goodbye to Elysia and Ari, "It was great to meet you too." Isa didn't weigh very much, and even though she had been growing like a weed she was still tiny. He easily scooped her up, holding her up in front of his face for a moment to say, "How about we get chicken for dinner tonight?"
"Yeah! Chickie!" Isa squeaked, nearly forgetting about her playmate as he left. Remembering him for a second, she waved fiercely, yelling "Bai!" as her father still babbled at her. She snapped back to attention when he tucked her up against his shoulder, slowly falling asleep from the rythmn of his walk.
