Justin's home wasn't too far away. Just a block away. He kept on walking, making sure NOT to run into anyone this time. He finally reached his home, went inside, and returned to his basement bedroom. He actually felt too tired for games right now. He simply jumped onto his bed, thinking a bit more about this girl, Rouge. He sort of envied her for having a more interesting life than him, but the envy was outweighed by curiosity.

"You're free to go now, Rouge. We'll call you if we need you again." Rouge nodded, then walked from the room. She left the base and took flight, going back to the city she'd met Justin in. She'd never really met anyone outside of work. Anyone who didn't freak out upon finding she was part bat, to be exact. So he was interesting.
I wonder what he thinks of me?

Justin zoned out yet again, staring out the window. He craved some kind of change of pace. Sure, he loved video games, and he had a good life, but something exciting had to come along at some point. Rouge was an unusual person, so she counted as something exciting. He stared into the sky outside his window, slightly hoping to spot her. Or a UFO. That would be cool, too.

Justin almost fell over from Rouge's sudden appearance. He then smirked. "Right now, I'm looking at the girl who just popped out of nowhere on my windowsill." He joked. He was actually glad she showed up. For one, he didn't have company much, and second of all, what kind of straight man DIDN'T secretly want a girl popping up out of nowhere?

Rouge smirked very slightly. "Hmph. Not much of a welcome. I fly all the way over the ocean and then up to a secondstory window, and my reward is finding that you're another pervert." Rouge sighed, laying down on the windowsill.

Justin laughed a bit. "I'm no pervert. I'm just commenting on this event. I mean, wouldn't you stare if someone popped up on your window out of nowhere?" He asked, smirking back at her again. He wasn't a pervert. Sure, Rouge was easy on the eyes, but Justin wasn't some skirt chaser. Besides, from what he saw before, even with his Taekwondo background, she'd kick his a**.

Justin nodded. "Interesting. Your friends sure sound cool. Kinda wish I had a few more friends myself. Most people call me a turbo nerd because I spend too much time playing video games. That's the life I chose, so I'm cool with it. Gets kinda dull sometimes, though." He told her.

"They're idiots like that. Makes me happy to know I'm mostly bat." She heard a beep, indicating someone was trying to contact her. She sighed, sitting up. "Now?" She pressed a button on her wristwatch. "Hello?"
"Hey Rouge!"
"Oh, hi Sonic." Rouge brightened up a little. "What's going on?"
"Tails got this great new video game!"
"Another? How many does he have?"
"About a thousand. But still, it's sooooooo cool! You go around shooting zombie heads off!"
"Since when do you play video games? And isn't he a little young to be playing a violent game like that....?"
"Eight years old is good enough. And I play some. I just prefer killing real life robots, as all."

Justin was kinda curious about the game that this Sonic guy mentioned. Then again, he's played a few zombie games before, so maybe he might have the game too. And the thing about Sonic killing robots...well, it's not THAT unbelievable anymore. Hell, Justin is standing in the same room as a half bat treasure hunter right now. He then had a thought. Maybe he and this Tails kid could play a few games together sometime. It was always fun to play against someone new.

"I mean seriously! You can see the guts and organs and everything! Even Knuckles is enjoying it! Well, I think he's mostly here because of the fact that one of the main characters is really sexy." In the backround, Rouge could hear someone in the game cursing their head off. "Tails turn it down! You don't want your mom finding it, do you?"
"Sorry Sonic!" came the reply.
"So let me get this straight. An eight year old, a fifteen year old, and a sixteen year old are playing a M rated game with language, gore, and sexual themes?"
"Pretty much, yeah."
"You three are ridiculous. But, I'm not you're mom, so what do I care? Hey, is it OK if I bring a friend over?"
"Sure. Who?"
"Some guy named Justin."
"He a mutant?"
"Nope."
"Wow, and he doesn't mind the fact you're a bat?"
"Uh-uh."
"Sweet! Bring him!"
Rouge smiled slightly. "All right, see you there."
"'Kay, see you!" She pressed the button, closing

Justin almost found himself laughing at the conversation. From the sounds of things, Rouge's friends WERE truly ridiculous, but they seemed cool. Even better that he was gonna get to meet them. The thought of meeting new people who would probably accept him was enough to put a smile on his face.
