About Sterope: Residents are called Steropians, nicknamed "Sparks". It is a matriarchal Monarchy, but the Princess is also supported by a Council of Elders. Far from a bureaucratic nightmare the general population is encouraged to get involved and can submit petitions to both the Princess and the Council. The Capital buildings are not restricted from anyone and neither are the Council meetings and open Court sessions.
Being Princess is not an inherited position along family lines. When the old Princess dies or is close to death the "Divine Spark" will find the girl that is to become the next Princess. It should be noted that the word Queen is never used because the Steropians do not believe in it. The Princess rules side by side with the Council of Elders and not does not have absolute power. Therefore they believe that she never becomes "Queen" in any traditional sense.
The Senshi usually awakens young and is raised by the Princess in accordance with ancient tradition. There is no usual gender for Senshi. They are sheltered, cared for, and educated during their formative years and usually emerge into society in their early teens. Since there is not an active military presence in Sterope the task of protection generally falls to the senshi who shows strong offensive capability.
To date Sterope has not involved itself in any wars and has not had any significant threat from outside forces. Mostly because it doesn't have a whole lot to offer interlopers besides some nice farm land.
Sterope is a sprawling place with quite a lot of color. Walkways are paved with pale smooth stone. There are large rivers that run even through the cities, lined with the same pale stone that paves the rest of the city. The architecture is actually quite elegant emphasizing classic structure and geometrical lines over more curved and flowery looks.
The wealth on Sterope is sort of a strange thing. The Steropians works more with the barter system than they does with actual currency though currency does exist from the tourism the planet receives as well as all exports. They import very little since the planet is lush enough to maintain both crops and animals. There is a lot of light everywhere. The population is actually relatively small for this planet with a majority of the people tending their own fields or farms. There are people that cluster in the cities and see to the tourist attractions and other such businesses. The Capital is by far the largest of these cities and is linked to every other by magnetic rail.
The main ways to travel on Sterope are by horse, by magnetic rail, or by electric carts that funnel power from the central grid.
In every way they can the Steropians use natural energy. There is an annual annuity granted to Capital scientists to this end. Farmers use practices to replenish nutrients in the soil that are depleted in crop growth. The cities are build in order to maintain nature's harmony and will not disrupt or destroy any natural landscape such are rivers, hills, or rocky outcroppings.
The weather is usually sunny and light but the planet is also known for occasional and violent lightning storms. To combat these lethal storms there are large lightning rods built throughout the planet that catch the bolts and store them in a central grid through many miles of wire. It is their main source of power.
A certain vined flower grow in abundance all over the verdant fields of the planet. It can take over existing bushes where it finds them, threading through and taking over their structure for its own. If not carefully managed these vines can choke the life out of the plant it takes over. Despite this the flowers are largely left alone by the population. They are the national flower and are called "Zap Flowers." The legend is that if someone gives one to their beloved they will feel a spark if the love is really meant to be.
Because of these flowers Sterope is a large tourist destination and they also export the flowers to other neighboring planets. Under no circumstances are tourists allowed to leave with any root structure of this vine. Certain whole plants have been granted to other rulers and to own a flowering vine off of Sterope is considered an honor. These plants also come with a warning lest they disrupt and take over the native vegetation.
Other than the purple flowers orange, yellow, and green and white are the predominant colors of the world. Native animal life is not just limited to the grazing and farm animals brought into the planet. There are, in fact, a myriad of animals native to the fields and forests.
A popular pet among households are called "squits." Squits are longish, furry, intelligent, and very cuddly. They do not grow larger than most domesticated cats. They can be very colorful in shades of red, orange, yellow, tan, and brown and prefer to eat vegetables though they are technically omnivores. They are especially fond of sunfruit. They are also protective creatures and some are used as guardians against prowlers or stray wild animals out in farm country.
There are several well known locations on Sterope:
The Sandswept Dunes - one of the few deserts on the planet, this dangerous area is always under threat of electrical storms as well as sand storms. The air in this region is so heavily charged that tourists' hair will stand up even when they visit in the protection of cooled glass domes. The Capital City - known for its simple and elegant look the Capital has stood for hundreds of years and is where the Princess, Council, and Senshi reside. It is also the main tourist attraction on the planet. Two major rivers run through the city lined in white sandstone. There is a native population of about 10,000 but can reach a maximum population of about 40,000 or so in the height of the season. The Sun Forest - characterized by the yellow flowering trees that give it its name, this is where the majority of the sunfruit grows. The fruit is yellow and round with long spikes on it and comes from the large yellow flowers that blossom on the trees early in their season. Sunfruit has a sweet citrus quality to it and texturally eats like a pear. The blossoms are sweet smelling and catch the light making them appear to glow during the day. This is a popular destination for weddings. Highpoint Spire - In the mountains just beyond the Sandswept Dunes, Highpoint Spire is a lightning rod that catches no few of the strikes during the ever present storms in the region. Since it has become so safe tourists are allowed there as part of tours to see the lightning strike up close. Shrine of the Divine Spark - One of the few destinations with religious and cultural significance, this shrine is one of the oldest structures on the planet. It is where specialized priests can commune with the Spark to determine the new Princess. It is also where senshi are sent to fully awake with a ritual that has been used for as long as senshi have been on Sterope. The temple is mostly open walled to allow the spark to enter. There are no lightning rods around this shrine and yet lightning has never struck the building directly even in the strongest tempest. The Palace - Where both the current Senshi and Princess live, most of the Palace is not open to the public. There are occasionally festivals and special events held there that are open to the public. The Palace sits very near the Council building and is the only building that utilizes a "prettier" architecture style.

Minor Planet* - Chariklo * = Chariklo is technically classified as a Centaur OverviewThe centaur Chariklo is know colloquially as the Pirate Planet. Peopled by scavengers, criminals, smugglers and the like, it is at best, a port of call where one's excesses will be overlooked provided your tab is promptly paid and you don't kill. At worst, it is a stinking, seething hive of villainy where anything can be acquired for the right price. And we do mean anything. World InformationThe Pirate Planet. Chariklo is a sea-covered, island dotted planet. The largest island is considered the seat of power and is notable for the large and treacherous cliffs that rise up from the sea surrounding it. It is also quite notable for the way the fog and sea-mist enshroud the islands, leaving them in a cool, almost perpetual pearly gloom.
Notable Flora and Fauna Chariklan Gull. These fiesty and ferocious birds come in a variety of sizes and colors, all resembling, to some degree, Terran seagulls. However, it should be noted that unlike the seagulls of the Earth, Chariklan Gulls are able to communicate through what can only be called mind speech. They are also quite easy to bribe if you want one to go out and spy then report back. Some few will form permanent bonds with the Chariklans, but this is rare and seen most typically with the planet's Senshi.
Koanla. A small, quick moving fish that is highly prized as a delicacy. Living in huge schools near the surface of the sea, the koanla are mainly known for three things: the rapidity with which they breed, their tasty flesh, and their shimmering, iridescent hides which are valued for their beauty and toughness. Mostly hunted by the Chariklans and Gulls.
Humih. Living in the deeper waters of the planet's ocean are the Humih. Rarely seen unless one washes up on the beach, the humih are a mystery to the Chariklans. They are said to be gentle giants, but as they are so rarely seen, it is impossible to verify. When one does wash up, it is harvested for it's bone, hide and fat. The meat is considered too bitter for mass consumption as well as quite toxic unless certain steps are taken in its preparation.
Dafri Tree. Seen mostly on the largest island, the dafri tree is cultivated for it's wood (which shines with a delicate purple sheen when treated) and the dafri fruit which is eaten raw, grilled, juiced or turned into spirits. The fruit has a sweetly astringent taste and is considered a sovereign remedy for nausea.
Willaweed. An edible seaweed, willaweed is harvested from the cliffs and beaches where it frequently washes up. When dried or smoked, it will keeps for months and can be used in soups and stews or as travel rations similar to beef jerky. When cooked fresh, it has a pleasantly salty flavor and resembles cabbage.
Key Locations. Jokal. The largest island on Chariklo, Jokal is home to the planet's Senshi. It is also home to the largest and safest harbor. And as such, sees the most traffic in terms of merchants, traders and smugglers. The buildings on Jokal are loud, garish and tend towards the eclectic and chaotic in terms of decor. It is also home to...
The Grand Market. Here one may purchase whatever one is searching for, whether legal or not. The one vice that the Chariklans will not allow is the purchase or selling of sentient slaves. That is simply begging for trouble to come and smack them with a stick. The more public parts of the market are full of brightly colored flags fluttering in the breeze, cheerful haggling and goods changing hands. The more questionable parts are located deep within the shops and tents of the merchants and oft-times require a specific invitation to get in.
The Gull's Nest. The Chariklan senshi's 'castle'. It is here that she hears cases and passes judgements. It is also here that scandalous parties are thrown and some very interesting trade negotiations take place...Culture InformationPeople. Known as Chariklans, natives of the planet are typically brash, cheerful and affectionate. Given that most operate as scavengers and smugglers, the technology of Chariklo is as eclectic and varied as its people.
Chariklans typically come in all the sizes and colors as the people of Earth. However, all Chariklans sport pointed ears and small, delicately feathered eartufts. They also tend towards duel-toned eyes.
Society. The senshi of the planet is seen as the ruler of the planet for the most part. However, she works with a council if any large policy changes are required. However, given that at any time, the council is made up of those suspected of being part of the criminal element... well.
The common people enjoy their planet's notoriety and gleefully take part in whatever enterprises they can. Really, it's a wonder anything useful gets done.
Economy. Barter and trade! Well, and stealing, smuggling, outright piracy... Primary Exports. Feather accessories, Koanla, Dafri wood, fruit and spirits, Willaweed Primary Imports. Livestock/Herdbeasts, Produce, Dairy, Fabric, Metals, Tools, Anything shiny or interesting
Politics. Oh, rofl. Recreation. 1. Visit Chariklo 2. Provide Money and/or Goods 3. PROFIT?!?! 4. Have Fun!

Overview The planet of Kepler is known as the Scholar Planet, often birthing great minds, and inquisitive children. The people are, generally, open to learning new things. They are willing to trade their exports for other worlds books, be they history or children's stories. At worst, they are nervous individuals who often can't find to save their life.
World Information Kepler has great oceans and four great continents. The Great Libraries of Kepler are located in the center of these lands, away from the harsh weather of the coast and the dry deserts that seem to be located to the West. Most of these lands are weeks long trips by boat away.
Kepler is also a great exporter of oil, bricks, raw materials for building. Those who aren't scholars or farmers are often miners; trekking out into the great deserts to find new sources of oil and fresh water.
Trees are hard to find on Kepler now. With the Great Flood the forests were drowned and destroyed. What little saplings that did survive have long sense been used, and try as they might to replant, the demand for wood is too high. Their second greatest import need is wood.
History A long time ago Most of Kepler was destroyed in a great flood. A small portion of the people were saved thanks to the Senshi of Kepler. Everything was lost.
Slowly the waters started receding and the Keplerites realized they had to start their history all over again. The elders, the ones who remembered the most, were the first of the new lines of scholars. These scholars wrote down what they remembered about the laws, the way they lived, their religion. These were the people who wrote the new laws, who drove it into the heart and heads of the other Keplerites who were saved that everything had to be written down from now on, in multiples, stashed away in various different places in case something happened.
Society. The senshi of this planet is considered the ultimate strategist and their greatest savior. She attends council meetings and makes the final decision when the vote is split. There is no higher power right now, no Queen, Princess, or King to make the decision. Senshi Kepler is the closest thing they have.
Economy Imports: Books, cattle, crops, cloth, leather, spice, any kind of food, basically, wood Exports: Oil, brick, concrete, certain metals, seafood, water
Politics Decisions are made with a council. A council of about 10 is normal, with the Senshi of Kepler present to make sure things get done and don't get out of hand.
If a tie occurs in voting, Kepler is the tie breaker. She can not veto anything. However, if the matter is serious enough, such as if the planet is to go to war, she acts as a president, if you will, or a General and commands the military.
The Kepler military isn't a great one. They do not have the numbers of a lot of the other planets, and would more often like to talk things over and try to work out a peaceful solution. However, they are prepared to go to battle.
Religion WILL GET TO THIS LATER??
More will be revealed as Kepler explores her home planet

ThemistoPlural/Possessive: Themistan Main Export: Jade and precious stones, tapestries and artwork, water Main Imports: People, non-native metals, paper Industries: Woodworking, metalcraft, homebuilding Castle: Horizon Surface: Here!World: Themisto is a world shrouded in near-constant fog and heavy twilight. Many ponds and rivers dot the surface, covered by a blanket of fog, beneath a thick canopy of forest trees. Bridges connect small mounds of land with larger structures with lotus-like flowers floating underneath. These bridges are very ornate and highly decorated with rich, intricate carvings and inlaid metalwork. Many patches of land are full of healthy lichens, thick trees and large stones. The overall air being as moist as it is, plants are generally thriving. The moon itself is a healthy size and supported a proportionate population in small cities dotting its surface. All cities, villages and dwellings are connected to one another via the complex network of bridges the moon is known for. Strange stag-like creatures were the largest herbivores on the surface. These were called fog-walker in the native language and had the tendency to “blink” from place to place. Generally gray in appearance, they blended easily with the fog. Each gender had antlers known for growing lichens and small flowering plants. These would be harvested for food and medicine if fog-walkers were hunted or died naturally. One very odd feature of the moon is that, every so often, it simply disappears. The moon does not seem to be “gone” for very long spans of time, but only those who live on the moon are allowed to stay just before the “disappearance”. All others are asked to leave a few days prior. It seems as those the natives of Themisto know when the next disappearance will occur. When the moon returns, Themisto’s people behave as if nothing had ever happened, even when questioned. Architecture: Structures throughout the moon resemble ancient Japanese temples and architecture on Earth with distinct differences. On Themisto, it is very common to find a home or dwelling held by Grecian-esque pillars, or a temple building using Catholic stained glass work. While Themisto is predominantly Asian in appearance, its architecture is a patchwork of other culture’s traditions. It is difficult to determine if many structures are painted due to the generally dark atmosphere of the moon. Lights seem to be few and far between, many encased in glass or paper lanterns. Candles generally do not survive long on Themisto without being protected in some way. Economy: Exports included fine metalcraft in the form of ceremonial weapons, armor, jewelry, sculpture and dinnerware. Woodworkers exported portions of structures like arches, doors, furniture and bridges. It seems as though the exportation of goods was more necessity than desire - to receive, one must give in the universal space economy. Life on the moon was fairly stable in terms of weather, so the importation of food, non-native metals and other goods were more for pleasure than need. Themisto, as an ecosystem, is relatively self-sustaining though some grow restless since the moon does not have seasons as other places might. Importation of people also meant new ideas about architecture, culture, craftsmanship and religion. More often than not, the importation of people was highly desired. Culture: Themisto is known as a destination for those who don’t fit in anywhere else. Their culture is structured such that most everyone on the moon is technically non-native in some capacity. Criminals and other undesirables who end up on the moon seeking asylum are welcomed just as anyone else would be as long as they mind themselves. The people of Themisto think of each other as brothers-and-sisters-in-arms, a large, unrelated extended family. Disruptions of these bonds, criminal activity or unnecessary violence lands dissenters in a particularly harrowing situation. It seems as though Themisto is the last stop for the most hardened of individuals and those who choose to break the rules are confined in a special structure on the moon until its next “disappearance”. When the moon returns, oddly, the structure is empty, and the people do not speak about what had happened to its occupants. The people are largely very secretive about all but the most superficial religious and cultural aspects of the moon, choosing to feign ignorance when questioned. Those who wish to live on Themisto permanently must go through a peculiar ritual to ensure their desire is genuine before they are accepted into the community. They are encouraged to share information about the culture they came from to enhance the conglomerate culture on the moon. Ideas are shared openly and freely with other “natives”. Professions are not generally passed down from generation to generation within a single family unit - instead, oftentimes people will adopt other people’s surnames or familial designations. Family trees become very complex on Themisto, as members of one family may branch out and be assimilated by three or four other families. Surnames aren’t often used since they have a tendency to change. Natives often choose to clothe themselves in traditional wear from their previous environment, weather-permitting. They then accent their clothing with sashes, masks, ropes, flowers and other items that resemble Japanese culture on Earth. This unique style is what distinguishes people from Themisto from others in the Jovian system. Government: Themisto is very secretive about its government, usually opting to send a small delegation for political matters to Jupiter or the other moons of the Jovian system only when absolutely necessary. These delegations claim to have the blessing of the people of the moon, but it is questionable whether these delegations have any technical political power in the Themistan government (they may not be a government ruler or political worker in any capacity, for example). Senshi: Sailor Themisto is not a ruler on the moon, but a guardian. The senshi has their own series of special houses built all across the moon, and each house has an attendant who is in charge of maintenance and upkeep. As Sailor Themisto travels from city to city, he or she will stay in this house and be looked after by the resident attendant. All the houses are identical, which contrasts the eclectic traditions of other buildings. The senshi oversees large building projects, religious festivals and usually helps welcome new people onto the moon. Visitors don’t receive Sailor Themisto’s greeting most of the time, but if the person chooses to live on the moon, the senshi will make an appearance. Themisto and House Jupiter: Sailor Themisto does not tend to leave the moon unless absolutely necessary, considering it bad luck. When the need arises to travel to Jupiter, Sailor Themisto is usually in the company of one of the house attendants and only stays on the planet until they are no longer needed. The moon orbits all alone and isn’t one of the main Galilean moons, so Themisto’s political power and standing is negligible at best. Themisto and the Moon Kingdom: Themisto does not recognize the Moon Kingdom as its ruler. Jupiter is considered a “ruler” by necessity only.

Moon - Bestla OverviewThe moon of Bestla, though small, is filled with life. Home to a handful of people who live in a perpetual twilight gloom, the moon is treated as an odd, but pleasing, combination of woodland temple and nature preserve. And within the gloom, tiny lights dance and cavort.World InformationWorld in Twilight. Bestla is a small forest-covered moon. Due to the abundance of trees as well as it's placement in regards to the Sun, the moon lives in twilight haze. This, combined with the temperate climate, leaves the moon wreathed in a soft, perpetual fog broken only by the bio-luminescence developed by so many of the native species.
Notable Flora and Fauna The Lord of the Wild. As far as the Bestlans have been able to ascertain, there is only one living specimen of this great dragon living. Revered as their god, the Lord is a gentle beast. Standing at a height of about 14 feet, the Lord seems to be an amalgamation of creatures: head and antlers of a King Stag, thickly muscled humanoid torso with four equally muscled arms ending in clawed hands and the lower body of a great, smooth snake with the lions of a lion. Additionally, the Lord's hide was capable of growing or budding with thin, feather like branches tipped by tiny, glowing nodules. Legend holds that the Lord is fully capable of human like speech. But only ever in the presence of the moon's senshi.
Peeplings. A quick and easy moniker much like the Terran 'bird' or 'fish' to group together a wildly varying species. Peeplings are a lizard-like creature with two sets of gossamer wings and long tail with spade-shaped tips. The most common peeplings on Bestla resemble Terran geckos and have bodies about the length of a grown man's middle finger. The tail tip of every peepling is able to glow and flash, much like a firefly. They can come in a wild variety of colors and have the potential for parrot-like intelligence. Peeplings are also treated much like pets and made much of by their owners. In return, said owners gain adorable, loving pets. It is said that Bestla's own senshi is a wildly enthusiastic fan of the Peeplings as a species.
G'mork. Living deep within Bestla's forests, the G'mork are a feared, though respected predator. Resembling exceedingly large wolves, the G'mork all have a pelt of thick, shaggy fur, long, sharp fangs, claws and glowing, blue-green eyes. Unlike most of the creatures on Bestla, the G'mork don't display much color. Their fur, while highly prized, is always a deep black with only the tiniest hints of blue and purple deep within.
Dasha Pear. The most prominent and well known tree on Bestla. Dasha Pears can grow to mammoth sizes and have branches and leaves that faintly resemble a weeping willow. The wood itself is prized for its hardiness and is carved into furniture, decorations, used for the building of homes, etc. Even the leaves, when treated properly, have some value as decorations for the home or body. However, the tree is most valued for the pear like fruit that it bears. Juicy, sweet and beautiful to look at, the pear gives off a faint, pearly glow while still on the tree. The Dasha Pear's fruit can be harvested to use as food, juice, spirits and even medicine. Additionally, the seeds look like tiny crystals and will sometimes be traded if the offer is good enough.
Fairy Fungi. Much like the term Peepling, Fairy Fungi is used to describe a wide array of mushrooms on Bestla. The one thing each type of mushroom have in common is that each and every one glows. The Fairy Fungi are used for food, medicine and occasional mind altering experiences. Fairy Fungi can make a home on almost any surface and are carefully cultivated.
Key Locations. Sacred Grove. The Grove is considered to be Bestla's one truly sacred place. It is said that this is where the Lord of the Wild first appeared and blessed the moon's first senshi. As such, only Bestla's senshi may enter the grove. However, the edges of the Grove are tended to and treated as a place where anyone may come to sit quietly and meditate. The Grove's Edge is also where the senshi would preside over weddings, funerals and other spiritual rituals.Culture InformationPeople. Known as Bestlans, natives of the moon are typically quiet, hard-working and spiritual people. With an intentionally small population, Bestlan children are often placed into arranged relationships to make sure that the bloodlines are strengthened. However, if there is no love match or child produced, the arrangement ends after one year.
Bestlans typically come in all the sizes and colors as the people of Earth. However, due to the perpetual gloom, Bestlans are very pale. They also love nothing more than to paint themselves with the myriad of luminescent paint that they create from some of the fairy fungi.
Society. The senshi is seen as both ruler and spiritual guide for the people on Bestla. It is she who creates new laws and punishes anyone who breaks said laws. Society is, for the most part, very agrarian based. The people farm, they hunt and they do their absolute best to not disrupt the balance of nature. It's not the easiest life, but the Bestlans seem content.
Economy. Barter and trade! Primary Exports. Peeplings from a line known to interact well with people, G'mork pelts (occasionally), Dasha Pear wood, fruit, spirits, medicine, leaf jewelry, paints and medicines made from Fairy Fungi Primary Imports. Livestock/Herdbeasts, Produce, Dairy, Fabric, Metals, Tools, Gemstones
Politics. Due to such a small population, the senshi is seen as the only authority figure needed. As such, there is very little politicking. Recreation. While not a hub of entertainment, Bestla does offer a soothing experience for those who enjoy quiet nature study. Additionally, there are seasonal faires.

MoiraPlural / Posessive Moiran Imports Metals, Gems, Fine Textiles, Timber Exports Crops and Livestock, Wool, Leather, Farming Equipment Geography Moira's geography spanned the whole gamut, ranging from arid desert to frigid tundra. Jotha TundraYO-thahEnjoys half of the year in pitch back night and half of the year in an unyielding day. This polar cap is situated at the bottom axis of the planet and is home to very few people. At night, the sky is lit up by a Borealis. Eowardumm PlainsEE-oh-wahr-dumThe temperate zone of Moira, and the most densely populated of the planet. this region actually describes several chains of island-line continents on either side of the equator. Umomand Desertsyou-MAHM-undArid desert land dotted with fertile oasis'. This land-mass' population is concentrated around these oasis', though farmland would often spiderweb out and irrigate when needed. ClimateJotha TundraYO-thahDuring the Long Night, temperatures can reach as low as 100 degrees Moiran (celcius). Things aren't much better during the Long Day, still sinking as low as 60 degrees Moiran below zero. During the Long Night, the weather tends to be very wet, including freezing rains, snowfall, and even sleet and hail in some cases. The weather is more temperate comparatively speaking during the Long Day. Eowardumm PlainsEE-oh-wahr-dumThe plains enjoyed four seasons a year, with snow in the winter, rain in the spring, heat in the summer, and chills in the fall. The growing season is longest here, so the agriculture is truly booming in this region of the planet. Umomand Desertsyou-MAHM-undNaturally unfarmable, but can be tamed. During the day the temperatures can reach 120 degrees Moiran and at night only cooling off to about 70. Sandstorms are a danger in this region, often times blacking out the sun. These storms can last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. However, these storms only happen once every few months. Fauna Jotha TundraYO-thahMost fauna in this region resides in the freezing oceans. Nihlan nee-LAHN. A fish with white flesh and lightly oceanic flavor. Caught in the wild by families to feed themselves and grown in responsible fisheries to ship across the planet. Delanduil del-AN-doo-eel. A crustacean prized for its sweet meat. These animals are impossible to breed in hatcheries, so they need to be caught. They are prized because only so many are caught in a year to maintain a healthy population. Eowardumm PlainsEE-oh-wahr-dumAlong with having the most people, the Eowardum Plains also has the most variety of fauna. Floror FLOR-or. A rather crazed and extremely stupid farmyard bird. They have to be kept separated from the other animals because they will fight anything and everything that the encounter that is not another Floror. They are also unable to self-regulate when they eat and so they will literally do so until their stomachs burst. Their meat, however, is cheap and their feathers make excellent insulation for blankets and coats. Tinaindil tin-AIN-dil. A large bovine creature raised for its meat and hide. Placid and slow moving, they graze on whatever flora they are near. The flavor of their meat is directly affected by what they eat, so the purer sweet grass a Tinaindil can graze on, the better and more expensive the meat. The hide is used to make clothing, textiles, and even tools in some cases. They can grow to be about the size of a fully grown Moiran and are often times used to pull carts and farming equipment. Delulas dee-LOO-las. Kept for it's warm and soft wool instead of it's meat, this animal often times doubles as a family pet. If shorn twice a year -- once at the beginning of spring and once at the end of summer -- a family can live from the resulting wool. A spring shearing produces wool that was used to keep the Delulas warm in the winter and can be used to create insulating garments and heat-resistant cloth. A summer shearing will yield a wool that was grown to wick heat away from the body and can be used to make summer garments. Ralith RAL-ith. A small wild canid. This creature is nocturn and hunts small livestock like Floror. It is not uncommon for a farmer to wake up and see three or four slaughtered birds in the morning because he didn't secure the coop up well enough. They are forever the bane of all livestock caregivers. Umomand Desertsyou-MAHM-undSirorion see-ROR-ee-on. A large lizard the roams the deserts. This beast can last for weeks without water due to an internal canteen like sac that they can draw hydration from. They are largely passive creatures, but have been known to lash out should an unsuspecting passerby wander into their territory. Sometimes they are hunted for their scaled skins, but other than that they are left alone. Their meat is dry and tasteless and only eaten in extreme circumstances. Fyriand FEAR-ee-end. A mid-sized canid creature. Scavenges but never kill its own prey. Omnivorous. Afraid of everything, and so they are easy to fend off. Large ears for detecting approaching predators. Largely nocturnal, though they may be spotted in the early morning and late evening. Instead of lashing out when cornered, this creature will just play dead. Many Moirans leave out scraps for the Fyriand that live nearby. Flora Jotha TundraYO-thahNone. The climate is too cold to support any flora Eowardumm PlainsEE-oh-wahr-dumMost of the flora in this region consisted of cultivated crops, though there were a great many different species of wildflowers and ferns. Ilpetta il-PET-uh. A grain cultivated for breads, poridgees, and fermented drinks. Often times the staple of poorer household pantries. Damal DAHM-ahl.
