Carter stretched out then slowly opened his eyes. He doesn't remember where he is, but what ever he was laying on was so comfortable that he didn't want to get up. He waited a minute after waking up and suddenly remembered where he was. He looked around wounder what trouble he had just got himself into. Cater tried to get up, but his lack of eating, from the past few days, finally caught up to him. He was to tired to move anymore and was not ready to face anything that was about to happen to him.

Runa glanced down at the sleeping boy seeing that he was now waking up. She tilted her head slightly and poked Mizuchi to get his attention. "Look, he's waking up" She smiled and turned herself to face the boy completely. "Hi, glad to see you are ok." She glanced over at Mizuchi before turning her attention back to the boy. "I got you a snack and some water if you want it.." She pointed at the table next to him and waited for a response.

"Thank you." he said smiling wearily. "I'm sorry i caused you so much trouble." he started to eat the food, the he took some of the water and drank it. After finishing the snack he turned back to the girl and said "that was the best food I've had in a long time." he smiled.

Runa watched him eat and smiled. "Oh, its no trouble at all really. I'm Runa and this is Mizu...chi.." She laughed softly introducing herself and Mizuchi almost calling him by his nickname. "Glad you liked it. Do you want more water.. or something?" She asked curiously wanting to be able to help in any way she could.

Mizuchi Matsunaga Shin Tsukino   He smiled a bit. "Yeah, it'll be like old-" He starts to say as the young man woke up. Seeing the young man eat he couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Hehe, well seems you've got a healthy appetite. As she said my name is Mizuchi." He says to the young man looking over at Runa for a moment. "You almost called me Mizu in front of him..." He whispers to her. He didn't mind the nickname, though he felt a little embarrassed when she called him that in front of others. He then turned his attention back to the young man. "Now then, what is your name? And why would someone such as yourself have the city guards chasing after him?" He asks him knowing that those guards were here for him. Shin looked at her for a moment. "I see. So even people here in Tsuchi know about that huh?" He asks her. "Well thank you for the medicine. But while I'm here please do me one favor. And don't mention that 'other guy'. Suffice to say its not really a fond memory." He says to her as he put the medicine into his pocket. "Now then, is there a place where I can wait? If I got three hours till the order is ready I may as well rest." He says to her feeling a little annoyed that he was reminded of that day he betrayed Hoshi, and Mizuchi. "no thanks, you don't have to go through the trouble." carter said to runa. "my name is carter, I've been traveling the countries trying to find work and a place to say...but as you can see, that's not going to well. The guards were after me because i ran out of food, plus had no money, so i stole an apple. I'm sorry that i troubled you, i'll work to pay off the food i ate and stole." carter said looking at the two. " Out of curiosity are you two a couple?" He randomly asked.

"O.. Of course.. Sorry I .. i didn't mean to upset.. you.. Um would you like lunch while you wait?" She asked motioning for him to follow her. It was a small room she took him too thought it was one of the few private ones she had. "Sorry I'd place you in a larger room but I'm treating a few people that live here who'd rather go unseen.. such as a pregnant lady and a child with a broken arm.. so please try not to wander in to any other rooms" She said smiling softly at him as she moved and got the table ready just incase he wanted lunch..

"Sorry..." Runa whispered back and blinking. She was caught off guard by the question that Carter asked. "Uh... a couple? Me and Mizuchi?" She repeated a smile breaking out on her face. She waved him off and shook her head. "No, no. We just live together..." She stopped and blinked realizing how it sounded. "I mean! We are just good friends is all! Just friends." She quickly tried to cover her mistake. She laughed a bit nervously, as she fidgeted in her spot slightly. "I think I might go ahead and make some tea. Would you two like some?" She asked brusquely trying to keep a relatively normal conversation going.

Mizuchi Matsunaga Shin Tsukino "Hehe, well nice to meet you Carter. Though, I can understand your situation." he says to him. He then heard his question asking if him and Runa were a couple. He chuckled a bit hearing Runa's reaction. "Hehe, yes tea does sound nice. And its as she says." He says to Carter as he walked over to his chair and sat down for a moment. "Hm...well you say you need work. How is you're skill with a sword?" He asks him. He had been scouting out talented individuals as candidates for his platoon, the Star Wings. He followed her into the small room. "Not to worry. It doesn't really matter what size the room is." He says to her. "And, lunch does sound good about now. Though I wouldn't want to trouble you." He says to her. "And don't worry. I won't be going anywhere. I'm not one for socializing anyway." He says to her as he sat down in one of the chairs in the room. "Honestly I am fair with a sword, I'm more of a distance man if i do say so myself. The bow is an amazing weapon and that is my weapon of choice. " carter said sitting back down. " How about your self, i see that sword over there so I'm guessing you are a great swordsman?" he looked at the big sword. I might get a job! he thought.

Runa watched the two converse for a little bit. "Mizuchi is an amazing swordsman!" She interrupted before Mizuchi had a chance at playing the modesty card. "You should see him practice. It reminds me of why they put him in charge of a platoon in the first place." She added now heading towards the kitchen. She hummed softly to herself, the same song as before. She went into the kitchen and started to boil the water.

Mizuchi Matsunaga Shin Tsukino He chuckled a bit feeling a little embarrassed at Runa's praise. "Oh, come on now. You speak too highly of me." He says to her blushing a little. He then turned his attention back to Carter. "An archer? Interesting..." He says thinking to himself a bit. He then had a bit of a smirk on his face. Runa came back from the kitchen with a tray with everything needed for tea on it. "Oh, that sounds like a great idea! Maybe he'll actually be able to make it on your platoon." She mused setting everything down and pouring the tea in the cups. "Maybe we could make a whole event of it. I could call up all of the guys in the platoon." Runa smiled and made the tea the way she knew that Mizuchi liked it and handed him the cup. "You know they'd be angry if I didn't tell them." She told Mizuchi and then looked back to Carter.

Carter pondered the idea for a moment. He didn't really like all eyes on him, but then again it would have been rude to say no. "sounds like a good idea to me." he finally said after thinking it over. He thought he might as well go with it because he really needs this job.
