Robert narrowed his eyes.
It didn't seem that way anymore.
Before long, 2 more raptors appeared, seeming to look quite hostile.
He may not have claws, but he could defined deliver a good punch when needed.
"Looks like you'll be needing some help."
He stepped up beside Leander, paws balled up into a fist, ready to fight

Hardly waiting for reinforcements, but enbolded by the familiar [and grumpy] screeches of his reluctant tribemembers, Bane hopped about briefly, excited.
"You don't scare me!"
Leaping forward, he slashed out at Leander.

By the time Baneberry lept forwards, Stonebeak was already diving.
Claws outstretched, she aimed strait for the large cat, with the obnoxiously twitching tail.
It was with a loud cry of rage that she noticed the grey, cloaked rabbit that stepped into her way, and she reached out for his head instead, clawing out at Robert in her dive path, angry that he'd intercepted her well-timed shoot for the feline.

Leandar was nicked by Baneberry's slash, but he had managed to sidestep the majority of the hit. In a decisive movement, he ducked low and then attempted to uppercut the ferret. Baneberry was gonna get it now.

Laird was going to kill the intruders, then skin and eat them when this was done. Not only were they not welcome here but they dared to touch one of his tribe's children. Baneberry was perhaps the last being in all the world Laird would call innocent but it didn't mean the falcon was going to let him be harmed. He went into a dive aiming right for leander, with his talons.

Seeing an outstretched talon making its way towards him, Robert tried to dive, but had done so too late as the claw managed to make a nick on his face, blood slowly trickling down his cheek.
Using the back of his paw to wipe the blood, he growled, and lunged towards Stonebeak, ready to make fist connect with face. He normally didn't hit girls, but this bird was asking for it.

Clearly, Robert had forgotten who was invading whose home, trying to steal and fight with children. This particular child was having none of it. A hiss as Leander struck at him, and Bane jumped back, catching the blow on a shoulder.
Revealing small, sharp teeth, the white ferret snapped his jaws, attempting to bite Leander before he could move away.

Rabbits, it turned out, had extremely good aim. That was Stonebeak's reasoning, at least, for the pain that seared through her head as her skull vibrated from the impact.
"It regrets that now!" Stonebeak's screech of rage would be easily heard as she srambled from where she'd landed, badly, on the ground a few feet away.
Her eyes were seeing double, and she was half blind with rage, but she was clawing and tearing with her beak anyway, at the first thing foreign that came into her path. Unfortunately for Leander, that happened to be him.

Leandar was struck twice in no time, once by Laird and again by Baneberry. He looked about, the situation seemed a little grim, and they were indeed not in Hallowmarl anymore. The likelihood of help arriving wasn't exactly hope-inspiring. The wildcat attacked Baneberry, using his claws to scratch the kit.

Laird was all kinds of pissed off now, foreigners in Fangroot, hitting children and punching girls in the face!. No sense of decency amongst people anymore, none at all and here he was not that old himself, when had everything changed? The bird of prey had no time to really ponder this as he circled back around and dove again on Leander. His talons would spill blood today or there was no justice at all in the world.

Etiquette had no place in battle when the main focus was survival. What were you supposed to do? Apologize after each punch? Hurt each other with nice words and hugs? The idea was absurd.
Maybe after all this they would laugh, cry, or hate each other, but for now, the only thing Robert had on his mind was survival. Of COURSE they would attack. Why wouldn't they? They were only so lucky in Sunhedge.
Shaking his head to leave all this thinking for later, he rushed at Laird, performing a mighty leap, ready to give the bird a swift kick. If he didn't do anything, Leander would be forced to retire early.

A harsh bark of nervous laughter burst from the kit's chest as Leander swiped at him, the ferret jumping back and out of the way just in time for Laird to strike him. While the wildcat was still stunned, Bane leapt into the fray once more, his claws going for his face, neck, anywhere he could reach.
