I am here to find my father......
Baraku looked at Shizuka and then watched her jump lightly as his father spoke. 'Why does he always appear out of thin air' he thought to himself. He then looked at his father and gave him a bow. "Father....I.....I..uh.....I've come to apologize for my outburst a while back, i know that it was un-called for." He said as he stood up straight again.
.....and prove that i am of his Clan!

Byakuya nodded to both Shizuka and Renji, acknowledging the two of them kindly with a gentle nod as he returned his gaze to Baraku. As Baraku thought, Byakuya could not help but recall the time he had rejected Baraku so quickly, as if he were only a passing memory, one that wouldn't require attention. The slight, rare sense of regret seemed to tickle at Byakuya's mind as his slate gray eyes stared at Baraku.
"Your apology is accepted. I believe I should apologize as well, I was rather abrupt with you and un-welcoming. Such actions on my part are rare, so I am sorry." He seemed to speak with the same deep voice, powerful and drilling, yet somewhat passionate, like giving the words he spoke life as they escaped to open air. While he spoke, he calmly walked up to his desk and placed the folder neatly on top of a small pile of paperwork. He turned to face Baraku and the others once again.
"... Anyone who disturbs Soul Society will be cut down."

Baraku looked at his father and gave him another bow as he was forgiven, he then heard his father apologize. he looked up and watched his father walk to his desk. "Thank you....And i accept your apology also father." He said as he stood straight again. "But excuse me, i have alot of work to carry out for Hisana-chan." He said as he turned to leave.

Byakuya stood there for several moments as he looked at his son. For a moment, it hadn't registered how much he had come to look like him. There was a sparkling resemblance in the two, and he could see why now Hisana had made such a large deal about his decision. It was decided then, Baraku was in fact a Kuchiki.
"Baraku." He said, shattering the silence of the room. "I believe I have something that belongs to you." He said as he reached up onto one of the shelves by his desk where he kept his personal files, documents, literature, and artwork. He grabbed an ornate jewelry box, embellished in white-gold leaf, beautiful carved swirls on the surface. He handed the box to Baraku.
"The box itself is not the gift, however you may keep that as well. When you have returned home, or to your squad chambers, open the box." He ordered as he returned to the desk, sitting neatly in the chair without making so much as a sound.
"... Anyone who disturbs Soul Society will be cut down."

By the way, does Baraku reside at the Kuchiki residence or no?))

How we react to duty defines all of us...  The elusive hint of a small smile graced Yukumi for a short moment, but it faded just about as quickly. Personal discipline over whatever she might be showing any happiness toward. She glanced back to Renji and then her Captain. It was business of her squadron that seemed to be on the table given the question. Knowing what to say if she was posed with a question as to the Captain’s absence was wise. A small nod was offered To Baraku as he seemed to be leaving and she seemed un-bothered by the notion of putting off whatever she’d planned to do in town that had left her dressed out of uniform. ...what best describes you?

Baraku turned and looked at his father as he took the box from the shelf. Baraku just looked at his father and then the box, he was confused he could admit it but he walked over to his father and took the box, he looked it over before looking to his father. "Thank you" He said with another bow. he looked at the box with a puzzled look on his face. he then turned and walked out. staring at the box. 'Wonder what it is.' he thought as he left, nodding back to Shizuka.

((Um, currently no, he lives in the Squad Barrack's at the moment.))

How we react to duty defines all of us... Yukumi should have predicted she wouldn’t be able to take a moment to go visit her family, silently regretting the fact that she’d changed out of her uniform at all. That she’d stopped to ask if she could help Baraku if only because she likely wouldn’t get much of a break for a while and she often received sad stares from her family when she went too long between visits. Still, even if they would make her feel guilty she had to honor her responsibilities before she could deal with her personal wants. Settled near the window waiting to hear what Captain Kuchiki had to say about his disappearance before her assignment to the third seat.
Watching out the opening from the office it was easy to see not just one, but two figures slipping in to see Hikaru in the Prisoner tower. Emotions were running high, that was obvious to anyone that even heard about the event and she’d witnessed more than enough to know it was best to prepare for a rescue attempt. She made a mental note to add more members to the guards at the entrance when the action stopped in the office. Knowing better than to hope that they would relax at least until a date had been picked for the execution. It was easy to see Captain Hisana Kurosaki coming across the bridge toward the office after having only been inside a short few minutes.
Yukumi had quickly learned to pick out the spiritual signature of those around her and even if she couldn’t have seen the uniform and figure to pick out Hisana the feeling of her personal Reaitsu was something that was clear. All strong soul reaper’s had such a unique resonance to the energy they put off that it never took any shinigami much time to be able to recognize it. If nothing else, the approaching exchange promised to be anything but dull.
Clear eyes turning back to the higher level members of her squadron, not certain if the Captain would choose to explain himself at all. ...what best describes you?

Lieutenant Squad 6 He looks over to his captain bows and says " Welcome back" As he straightens up he looks over at Yukumi " Welcome to squad 6" He then looks back at his captain. He waits silently for an explanation of his disappearance. He was wondering why he had left.

Byakuya sstopped for a moment, allowing a moment of silence to slip past.
"I do not understand why you concern yourself with something that happened so long ago, however I was attempting to regain my zanpakuto. Unless, to you, it is a problem." He looked up to Renji, giving him somewhat of an interested stare, not too menacing, but enough to draw a good, honest answer from the man.
Byakuya's gaze turned for a moment, looking to Yukumi, immediately, based on reports he had received when she had just joined, he knew what she was hoping to do. "Shizuka-san. I see you are dressed rather casually. I assume it is not to attend to your duties. I do not believe you are required at the moment, so you may take this time off until the Execution. Be mindful that you are present on Sokyoku Hill during the time of the Execution, which I believe will be tomorrow, punctually mid-day."

Lieutenant Squad 6 He looks to the floor " I was just concerned is that wrong of me to be." He then looks back up at Byakuya. " Its just all of a sudden i come here and find that you have left without leaving an idea were you went." He was no trying not to get angry with his captain for he had a good reason to leave and not say anything.

How we react to duty defines all of us... A small nod of greeting was offered to Renji with a murmured. “Thank you, good evening.”
Glancing out the window. A bit dubious as to if she’d be needed or not but nonetheless offering a prompt bow, hair sliding over her shoulder as she held the position long enough to be respectful. “Thank you Captain, I will be back soon.”
She was curious but a dismissal was just that and she wasn’t going to question it, another slight bow to Renji and the girl was on her way. Looking back once at the office, but a moment to see her family wasn’t something she’d pass up. At the rate things were going it would be a while before she’d have that option again.
Stopping long enough to order some extra guards be added to the prison and then flickering from view with a flash step, she at least planned to make it as short an outing as possible. ...what best describes you?[/

Byakuya stacked a few more documents atop one another, ensuring everything had been completed and organized before he looked up and answered his Lieutenant.
"I thank you for your concern, then. Though I was merely on temporary leave." He said as he lightly nodded to Shizuka, acknowledging her leave.
"I do expect for you, too, to be present on Sokyoku Hill, which, as I said, should be tomorrow at mid-day." He said as he looked out the window where Shizuka once stood, looking off into the Sereitei, and ensuring the guards had been doubled.

Lieutenant Squad 6 He nodes to Shizuka. He looks back at Byakuya " Yes as you wish." With out any argument. " If the question maybe asked it is the execution of Hikaru Yamada right." He looks at the neat stack of papers then back to Byakuya. He sighs " Shall I go to the tower and stand guard of him." He then takes a seat in the chair in the corner.

After a few impatient hours of waiting on Orihime's doorstep, Hisana was finally deep in thought about the way she'd been acting...all the way up to the moment she became a shinigami. Moments later, she had her Hollow mask on, ripping a Garganta out of thin air as she stepped through it, leading herself back to the only home she probably had left...
The Garganta's exit opened in the midst of a blank wall outside a familiar body's office, allowing Hisana enough room to step out and observe the surroundings... A long hallway, a few pictures here and there, as well as a window or two... And then her eyes landed on the doorknob of the Squad six office door. She sighed, knowing this would happen eventually, as she made to approach the door, reaching with one free hand to knock.
You have to tell someone eventually, that disgusting voice spoke up in her head. Hisana's other free hand flew up to her face, fingers spread out in a motion that revealed all except for her mouth. A few moments of silence slipped by, before the voice's hideous laugh disappeared into the depths of her soul, releasing the momentary torment of the Alternate Squad Zero Captain. An afterwards, she pulled that hand away...knocking quietly on the door three times... Though the idea ran through her mind a few times that it was a bad time, seeing how a trio of silhouettes inside were probably discussing something about the execution tomorrow...
"I know I have to tell someone..." she whispered to herself. "I will after I apologize..." While she waited an answer, Hisana stepped out of the doorway, leaning against the wall next to its frame, propping one foot up against the surface, the other stuck out straight against the floor. A quick, nimble hand reached into the folds of her shihakusho, pulling out something that looked like a mere lump from the outside... That lump was a circular object wrapped up in a pure white, silky cloth, one made from the finest of materials by the Seireitei's finest sewer. Even though it had a few blood stains, it was still valuable. She carefully pulled back each corner of the rare clan-made scarf by a tiny fiber, releasing the restraint of the glowing circular object within. An unbelievably beautiful gem, with a white-to-violet core... "Just give it to him, apologize...and get out of here."

Lieutenant Squad 6 He hears the door knock three times.. He looks at the door then walked toward it. " Excuse me captain I will get the door and see who is there." He then opens the door. He look to the side and there is Hisana. " Come in my lady." Moves himself out of the way of the door so that she could enter.
