 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Andrew nodded, glad they agreed on the issue with his sister. He stood, telling Syous, "I appreciate you taking time to talk to me, and I'm sorry if I come across so nosey. And if I can ever do anything to help you, just ask." He gave a firm nod, serious in his offer, and completely happy to help the man who has made his sister smile.

 Amelia Caliu Witch. Mother.
A young women, not many months older than ninteen years, approached the simple white door marking the entrance to her brother's dorm. Amelia held a child in her left arm, and was forced to take several moments to properly retrieve the key from her right pocket. Roughly two minutes later, the red head was able to open the door and walk in, calmly choosing to lounge on the living room's sofa. She let out a small sigh as she layed out, her thoughts curious. Andy is never late... Placing the small child on her stomache, she took the extra time she had play to with the dark skinned infant, making faces and speaking gibberish for the entertainment of both.

This Is For Real,
Climbing quietly up the steps of the dorm building, Rina hesitates long enough for her companion to pass her. Moving quicker now to catch up. Coming out onto the appropriate floor, she stops now, seeing a teenage girl and a baby a ways down the hall. Reaching out to snag Andrew's sleeve, her expression turns oddly serious. "What if she doesn't like me?" she asks, her voice coming out hushed and quiet, so that hopefully the girl down the hall wouldn't hear. It seemed she was completely serious, and the source for her odd and hesitant behavior was finally revealed.

 Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.
Once realizing that he was ahead of Rina, Andrew felt a slight tug on his sleeve. Pausing his steps, the teenager turned to face the princess, curious as to what was wrong. Her expression was much more serious than he'd ever seen and her question caught him almost by surprise. Allowing a soft smile, he took the her right hand in his left as he responded with an equally hushed tone, "Unless my sister suddenly developed a disliking for sweet slyphs who love children, I think she will adore you." Knowing his sister since, literally, he was born, the necromancer found the answer for this topic easily. He was far more concerned with the alternate prospect; that perhaps the princess wouldn't like his elder sister. But he felt no need to voice aloud the idea, and instead hoped for the best, which would be a good impression all around.

This Is For Real,
Continuing to watch him a moment more, as if studying his face, she finally relaxes. Taking a deep breath, she smiles and nods as if ready. Andrew's concern was misguided, as Rina had hated so very few people in her life. So unless the other girl were to attack someone she held dear, or marry her father, there shouldn't be a problem. Maybe, if she were to flirt with one of her older brothers, there would be a problem, but she had only heard word of one coming and he wasn't the one she worried about flirting back. "If she hates me, I'm blaming you." she whispers quickly, though her grin reveals her attempt at a joke. With their hands now joined, she feels far more confident about meeting the boy's sister, and continues her way down the hall. Stopping before the door that she had seen the other girl standing before just a few moments ago, she glances swiftly to Andrew for him to open the door and lead the way.

Glad to see that Rina at least seemed to be a bit more willing and ready, Andrew continued walking along the hallway. "Okay, you may do that." He responded to her words, a smile crossing his face before he gently pushed in the already unlocked door.
Looking up from her perhaps too comfortable position, Amelia allowed a bright grin to light up her face as she jumped up. Carefully holding the child in her arms, she wasted no time in kissing her brother's cheek and issuing a welcome. "Hello~ and thank you again." Turning just slightly, the woman seems to have just noticed another being, and possibly only because that person was so near to Andrew. "And who are you?" she questioned, her eyes glancing curiously over the girl. "Well anyways, hello!"

This Is For Real,
Watching the other girl curiously, Rina comes to the conclusion that she seems friendly enough. She smiles again, the expression far less forced this time, as she extends a hand in greeting. "Hi! I'm Rina." she pauses a moment, considering exactly how to explain her presence. "I'm a... friend of Andrew's." she explained, hesitating long enough to find an appropriate title for herself. They were friends, right? She hoped so, or she'd look foolish claiming they were. "He kept bragging about his adorable niece, so I just had to see for myself." she pauses again, taking a moment to grin down at the child in the other girl's arms. "And he was right. She's beautiful."

Taking the offered hand, Amelia nodded as the girl spoke. It was always exciting for her to meet new people, and she was immediatly happy to hear compliments for her daughter. "Thank you! She is, huh?" she responded, a bright smile replacing any wariness on her face. "And so well mannered for an infant.".
Choosing to lean against the wall as the meeting occured, Andrew was immensly pleased that both girls present held no anger toward the other. Instead, it seemed that his sister was willing to continue speaking for as long as she could, which judging by her expression and next sentence, was not much time. "Normally I would love to keep chatting, but, I really should be going."

This Is For Real,
Glad that they seemed to be getting along alright, she nods in agreement at the girl's question. The baby was most certainly a lovely one, no one could deny that, and it was nice to hear that she was well mannered. Quite frankly, she wasn't too surprised at the news; both the baby's mother and Andrew were certainly pleasant people, and she doubted any child related to them could be too difficult. Hearing the other girl's statement, she nearly gasps. "Oh! I'm so sorry." she smiles again, looking almost sheepish as she apologizes. "I didn't mean to hold you up. We can talk some other time." she smiles again, the expression both sweet and apologetic.

Flashing another smile, Amelia shook her head as she responded quickly, "It isn't a problem. I enjoyed meeting you!" Raising her hand for a small wave, she transfered the small child from her left arm to Andrews hold. The witch snatched up her purse from the sofa with a nod to her brother in thanks before she left the room, already focused on her new task for the evening.
Once the infant was safely in his grasp, Andrew stood from the wall, moving the sofa as he spoke to Rina. "Would you like to hold her?" he offered, sure that the princess would be careful.

This Is For Real,
Watching the other girl transfer her child before leaving, Rina moves to sit on the couch. Glancing at Andrew in shock, she quickly looks from the child and back to Andrew. "Really? Are you sure?" she asks, hesitant. As much as she really did wish to hold the child, she seemed concerned; was he sure it was alright? She really didn't want to overstep herself, even though her last gamble had paid off. She was quite good with children, and she most certainly knew how to properly hold the infant being offered, and yet she hesitated. "I mean, of course I would... do you think your sister would be okay with it?"

Looking from the child to Rina witha smile, he nodded happily. "Of course." he responded, knowing full well that no harm would behold Lyndis while in the arms of such a caring person. He extended his arms, allowing the slyph to take the infant.

This Is For Real,
Reaching out after a moment of hesitation, she takes the child carefully in her arms. When she has the infant settled carefully in her arms, she grins broadly, truly excited about holding the baby. Grinning down at the infant, she rocks the creature gently. When she speaks, her voice is soft and friendly. "She's so small... Nothing at all like a Sylphid baby." she'd held the occasional half human baby, but never a full blooded one. Sylph babies were larger, and born far more developed than human babies, and so she had to adjust her hold accordingly.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer. While studying Rina's actions, he couldn't help but admire how well she handled the child. With any possible worry gone, as she was still proving how gently she held Lyndis, Andrew listened to the comments made. He glanced to the baby for a moment before responding, his voice equally warm. "Honestly, I'm actually surprised that she is so tiny." It was interesting to think of any race's children, as he'd never come across many through his life. Still, the child was half lycan, and he was expecting her growth to be much more rapid. However, it seemed that her rate, thus far, was the same as a full human's.

This Is For Real,
Glancing up from the child's face, the princess flashes her companion a grin of pure joy. "I think she's perfect." she retorts, her expression calming slightly. The child's dark skin had been a bit of a surprise at first, but after all, he did have two parents. It didn't bother her, of course, and she was already more than used to it. "I do hope you realize you're probably never getting this child back. I might have fallen in love." she tells him, her tone obviously teasing.
