'I'm sorry.' Neena replied softly. If it was her in this position she felt she would search them out, if only to find out exactly why they had felt it necessary to abandon her. But that was how she felt, and maybe Bedford didn't feel the same.
'Well anyway, let's keep going. We need to get to the base before nightfall.'

A few hours passed in relative silence, Bedford was...surprised with how things were going. He was going on this adventure, it wasn't just another talk. It wasn't another dream. It wasn't another useless what if, this was really happening.
She sun seemed to be setting, but the bottom of the mountain was within eyesight. "We're almost there."
