ron-and-mee John Blackthorne Well, I'm too young to join a political party. However, both my parents are Independent. They tend to change their votes depending on the candidates. In the most recent election, my father voted for President Bush, and my mother voted for Senator Kerry. I voted for my neighbor, since my vote doesn't count anyways. During this past election I was too young to vote - that made me furious. What really gets me is how there are a whole bunch of people old enough to vote who don't exercise their right to. In January I turned 18 and when I went in to get my new liscense ( in Iowa you get one at 16 that only allows you to drive until 12:30, at 17 you get one that allows you to drive anytime, and then at 18 you get one that is a different color so it makes it easier for people to ID your age) they asked me if I was going to register to vote then and I said absolutely. I am a Democrat with some Libertarian views. I'm updating this as times have changed and views have changed....I am an extreme lieral with socialist and communist tendancies with a touch of anarchist thrown into the pot. I never vote straight party and refuse to not be involved with any election wether it be local to national.

I'm minarchist. Large societies just don't work. Politically though, i'm on the left. If communism worked i'd be all for it. But i think i'll stick to socialism razz Also, i'm very environmental so i also go for those values.
So i guess you could say that i'm somewhat of a hippie smile
EDIT: I don't support any political party though because, quite frankly, it doesn't really make much difference. Politics is politics (in this society).

For the most part I try to stay out of politics, but I guess I am moderate with a pension for liberalism.
