Ayo frowned and moved directly in front of Seifer so he couldn't look away. "Big bruver, you're sittin' inside, all 'lone, starin' at the fire. Of -course- somethin's wrong. Now, talk to me." he demanded.

To Ayo's complete surprise, Seifer started laughing. "You got courage, kid. Not many would start yelling at me like that..." Seifer paused to take a deep breath and calm down his laughter, although the smile remained. "...Where'd you learn words like that, anyway?"

"...Plushi-cha' says them sometimes..." Ayo said, suddenly bashful. He lay down on the carpet next to Seifer and cuddled up to his side. "You feelin' better now?"

"Yeah, well. If I ever hear -you- saying them again, you'll be in major trouble. Got it?" Seifer warned, completely serious. Yeah, he had a soft spot for the brave little Fancie now. So sue him. He didn't want Ayo to end up saying one of those bad words in front of the others and have him get in a lot more trouble.

"Eep!" Ayo hide underneath Seifer's trenchcoat at the look in his eyes. It was scary. Like Seifer really wouldn't hesitate to use his pretty sword-gun thing on him if he said anymore bad words. "I picked it up." he said, fearfully, peeking out from under the trench at Seifer's once-more amused look. What had he done now?

"..." Seifer raised an eyebrow. Ayo really needed to spend less time around The Insane One. Plushi had the lifelong habit of talking to both herself and the voices in her head and she used the weirdest words and phrases in the world. It's like she had her own personal language where any word at any given time could mean anything in the world. It was honestly a pain to try and make sense of her ramblings and now... Now Ayo was starting to use her nonsense-ical language...

"...Is another one of the Plushi-isms..." Ayo said softly, well aware of the blush staining his cheeks. He had been listening to Plushi since he was an egg, so he well understood her own little language and used it often, even if almost no one else understood. "...She says that sometimes. 'I'm pickin' up what you're puttin' down.' 'T means she understands..." he explained carefully. Plushi-language was fun. All the words were strange and colorful and lots of fun to say. And the phrases, like the one he had just used, were so unique and nifty that no one understood them.

"...You're picking up what I'm putting down..." Seifer chuckled. "I like that. Gonna hafta remember that one." Seifer turned and ruffled the fur on top of Ayo's head. "So, little one, why aren't you outside with the others playing loud, noisy, pointless games and disturbing the neighbors?" he wondered, idly flicking Ayo's little antenna to watch his ear twitch.

Ayo frowned, thinking. "...But we dun -have- any neighbors, big bruther. Plushi-cha' says tha's a good thing..." Ayo frowned again. Why was Seifer so interested in making his ear twitch? It was just a reflex, he couldn't help it. But it was annoying. "Stooop it." he whined, ducking back under Seifer's trenchcoat.

"Okay," Seifer surrendered, laughing lightly, "I'll stop. And the neighbors weren't the point, although you're right, we don't have any. The point was why aren't you outside with everyone else? You could be out there playing fun games and stuff... so why aren't you?"
