"You messin' with a Shiba?"   "Oba-sama is a very nice woman, if you're on her good side." Raine replied to Kilk. "And yes, most of my tricks are worthwhile, as I truly do love seeing the looks on other's faces when I successfully pull them."
A beat of sweat ran down the side of Raine's face as Ruka insisted she would pay the bill... (( sweatdrop )) "Alright, alright... the least I could do is help you carry some of those containers..." he offered Ruka as he followed the others outside, the sound of citizens going about their business and children playing suddenly flooded his ears...
The sunlight bathed him in its shining light, feeding energy to his zanpakuto... Raine's happiness returned almost instantly...
"I will definitely be coming along. There is much I desire to see, and more I wish to know... Who would make a better tour-guide than my own Captain?" Raine reasoned with a smile.
"You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...

 Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka grinned "It's settled then." to Raine's offer to help carry the containers she said "Thank you but no. You're too clumsy, you'll drop them." the amused light in her eyes showed she was only teasing him, but she still continued to carry the containers on her own as she started walking. "Let's see... Let's see... Ah!" The small square they arrived in was the same one where the children had been before. The little boy she had requested to remain was standing there with the ball in his hands, tossing it up and down lightly.
With a smile she approached and let her Rukongai accent show "Oi!"
The kid looked over and grinned "Ya came!
"Course! A promise is a promise yeah? Here ya go!" she handed off half of the containers to the boy.
"Wow Miss! Thanks!
"Nothin to it. Tell your ma that "Ruka says hi" alright?"
"Sure thing Miss Ruka! Bye!" he waved with a free hand and booked it out of the square.
Ruka smiled and put a hand on her hip "Ai. Same troublemaker his ma was." she started walking out of the square in another direction, glancing over at her companions "Keep up! You'll get lost here if you're not careful!" she grinned. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

"You messin' with a Shiba?" Raine shrugged at her mention of his clumsiness. "Heheh... What can I say?" He smiled. "I am pretty clumsy, remember when I accidentally released a Sereitei Monthly Issue with a typo on your name. For several hours, rumors spread that your name was Rukia, rather than Ruka."
He watched his Captain give the boy some food. Just like her... Rough on the outside, but her soft spot will always surface at one point or another... He watched as the boy rushed off to his 'Ma'.
"I'll keep up." Raine assured Ruka with a nod, looking around and taking in the scenery... "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...

 ◊Squad 13 Captain, Kilk Nagara◊ Kilk let out a small laugh as she told Raine he would drop them. He followed the two and when they reached the boy he remembered what she told the kid. Ah, so that is why she brought the food out. I can't believe I had forgotten. Oh well. He had stopped moving during that thought to himself and was really falling behind. He had been re-alerted by her call to him and Raine. He had just realized that he had been falling behind. "This girl walks too fast!" He said out loud as he let out a laugh. He then ran forward to catch up to her. When he reached her he stood close by and his expression turned to a calm one. His black bangs falling over his emerald hues once again. "So, I have been hearing rumors of more frequent Hollow attacks on the Human world. Particularly centered in Karakura town, do you know anything about it? I mean, its only a rumor but it has me a little curious." He rested his arms behind his head now as he waited for the response he was curious to hear. His emerald eyes directed to the sky above him as he was now deep in thought.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka glanced back at Kilk "Walk too fast? I guess I'm just excited." she grinned then glanced over at Raine "Yes I remember that. There were also the rumors that Rukia had joined 9th Division and become Captain in a day." Oh that had been fun to deal with. She'd nearly killed her lieutenant when that had happened.
As they continued on she tilted her head at Kilk's question. She shifted the containers in her arms "Yes our patrols have reported such events. So far though, we don't know the reason for the emergence." she frowned slightly "We're currently waiting for a report from the patrol we sent in. They should be back in an hour's time which is why I'm hurrying." she ended with a laugh to ease the tension as they turned a corner.
When she looked up she gave a cry of joy and her eyes lit up "It's still here! Yasushi! Yasushi!" She ran forward to the wooden building. It was old and the paint was peeling, but the rocking chair sitting just outside and the friendly glow from inside the house gave it a homey feel.
Ruka knocked on the door rapidly with her free hand as she balanced the containers precariously in the other. She resisted the urge to bounce in place as footsteps clicked from behind the door and it opened. "Yasushi!" the brunette threw her free arm around the man that had stepped out.
He was broad but not fat, more big-boned than anything. There was a warm twinkle in his dark eyes and he didn't seem very old but the gray in his black hair gave him away. "Well if it isn't little Ruka! How are you!" he released her from the hug and glanced at Raine and Kilk behind her "And who are your friends?" If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

"You messin' with a Shiba?" Raine nodded in agreement to Ruka's statement, "Yep. I wonder if they got any leads. If so, then we can report it to the Higher-Up..." he said in reference to the Captain-Commander. They reached the front door to another person's home... Raine was entirely oblivious as to what Ruka planned on doing, let alone why they were here, but he followed anyways.
At the sound of her squealing the name "Yasushi" continuously, Raine figured they were visiting an old friend of hers. His stomach churned with dread as they approached the house. He did not particularly mind her friends, per say, it was more or less the last time Raine had met one of Ruka's friends, a man named Konton, he had nearly ended up killing them... Thankfully, Ruka defeated him, much to her dismay.
As the man opened the door and the two reunited, Raine sighed a breath of relief. At his question of asking who Ruka's friends were, Raine smiled and lightly bowed. "I am Raine Shiba, a friend, and subordinate to Ruka-san here. It is nice to meet you." He held out his hand to shake the man's hand. "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...

◊Squad 13 Captain, Kilk Nagara◊ "It would be best to get the leads as early as possible. But if anyone can do it, I am sure you guys can. Once that occurs, everyone will start being deployed. On the brightside we can leave the Seireitei more an have an excuse on why we are out on lunch breaks. But on the bad side, we will need to fight more." When they approached the house he watched curiously as she sprung the man. Must be an old friend. He seems like a nice man. In regards to the man's question to Ruka. Kilk let Raine introduce himself first. Once the two shook hands he stepped up ad shook the man's hand as well. "I am Kilk Nagara, nice to meet you. I am one of Ruka's co-workers." He said in a cheery tone. Though in the back of his mind he was still lost in thought about the recent events.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 The man shook hands with the two, bowing slightly as he did so "A pleasure to meet you both. I am Yasushi. It is good to see that little Ruka has made some friends since her departure."
"I'm not that little!" Ruka protested with a groan even though her eyes were laughing. She smiled and held up the containers "Anyone hungry?"
"You're still the sweet little girl I knew." he laughed "Come in all of you! Mitsushi and Haruka are in the back." he added the last part with a wink to Ruka and she grinned.
"I'm coming guys!"
She booked it into the house, set the containers down on the small table and was promptly tackled by the children there. There was a collected cry of "Ruka!" as she was glomped by the children and a few of the older ones. In particular a girl with blond hair and a boy with blue hair extricated her from the pile to give her a warm hug. The trio dissolved into hurried chatter as Yasushi laughed. "Well now don't stand there boys. Come on in!" the big man walked out and behind Raine and Kilk before gently shoving them into the house. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

Head of the Shiba Clan A large boar about the size of Zangetsu came rampaging through the streets of the Rukongai, many people hollering and screaming as they were almost trampled by the massive beast. On top of it rode a burly woman with messy black hair all bandaged up, wearing a long ivory cape banded with a gold tasseled chain which hung over her low-cut red tank shirt. "This should be where he's at," she mumbled annoyed as the boar came to a stop outside of a wooden building, peeled paint slipping off the exterior walls and a rocking chair sitting outside. She saw the Captain of Squad 9 waltzed right on into the facility, then her nephew and some other guy being invited in by a big-boned man. Before Raine could even manage to have taken a step forward, Kūkaku Shiba stomped right up and grabbed him by the top of his head, not at all happy with his tardiness from the Shiba house. "Where've ya been DUMBASS?!" she yelled at him with a furious, hoarse voice. "Everyone back at our place has been starvin' cuz ya missed kitchen duty this week! If we die from Shiroganehiko's cooking it's on YOUR ÅSS!!!"Boy ya got some nerve asking for an åss-kickin'! (( THIS IS FUN ALREADY!!! XD))

◊Squad 13 Captain, Kilk Nagara◊ Befre he was able to step in, he was interrupted by what sounded like a stampede running through the city. He caught eye of a gigantic boar and on top of it some woman who looked more fierce then the beast she was riding. He took a step behind Raine as if using him as a shield of meat in case she rushed the two. Kilk took a step back as he watched the explosive voice resmbling what could be called a fire works display take place. He let out a thin smile as he whispered something in Raine's ear. "Is this that Kukaku girl you were speaking of? Something tells me it is~" He then took notice of her right arm. "A prosthetic, I wonder how that happened. Did Raine one day blow her arm off?" He thought to himself. He chuckled lightly at the thought as he awaited to see Raine's reaction.

Let me make myself perfectly clear... Ruka Kusabana Captain of Squad 9 Ruka stopped in her greetings with her old friends as she heard a familiar voice. "Ah! That's Kukaku! I better go help." she grinned at Mitsushi and Haruka and gave them a warm hug before heading outside. "Kukaku! I haven't seen you in some time, we should get together for tea again." she smiled warmly at the older woman. She had a tendency to stop by and say hello to her every once in a while and they'd forged a small friendship of sorts.
At the sight of Raine in her grip she tried her best not to laugh as she tried to ease the woman's temper "Now please don't scold him, we were holed up with paperwork all of this week. Quite literally actually." the stacks had reached up to the roof and taken up every inch of space on the floor, nuff' said.. If you ever try to harm my friends then I will rip you apart!

"You messin' with a Shiba?" Raine's eyes widened as he heard his aunt stampeding through the District... Oh no... What'd I do now!? Raine asked himself hurriedly as he whirled around to face his aunt, who grabbed him by the hair. "O-O-O-Oba..." He stuttered at first, smiling nervously as he began to develop an excuse for whatever it was he had done this time... "Oh? Kitchen duty? I thought it was Oji's job today. But I've been getting better in my training Oba!" He said with a weak smile as he pried himself free from her grasp.
He hurriedly gave Ruka a 'Help me out here!' look that Kukaku wouldn't see. "I see you brought Bonnie." Raine said with a smile as he pet the boar, which grumbled and snorted. Raine turned to Ruka's kind friend... "I'll be in there in a moment thank you." ` "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...

Head of the Shiba Clan Kūkaku turned to Ruka and let a wide, goofy grin spread across her face, happy to see her old friend. "Sounds good! I'm more in the mood for sake, but whatever."Bonnie snorted in Raine's face as she was petted. "Excuses, excuses!" Kūkaku growled. "My nephew may be getting better at fighting, but it ain't gettin' close to Ganju's stupidity with handling my bombs!" She sighed and dropped him onto the ground. "Anyways, who's the Kurosaki girl you met earlier today? I heard she almost blasted you with a Bakudo." The news was already spreading around all of Soul Society that Ichigo Kurosaki and his daughter Hisana had arrived for the first time in sixteen years. "Have to admit, she's got guts messin' with a Shiba, even if she's askin' for a shitload of trouble! Unlike you, always using your gigai pill to excuse yourself from the fights!"Boy ya got some nerve asking for an åss-kickin'!

"You messin' with a Shiba?" Raine grinned. "Almost, is the keyword here, I would have never been hit with such a spell that easily. As I said Oba, I've been getting better. But yes she is here." He placed his hand on the hilt of his zanpakuto as he smiled a wider grin. He and his sword were now companions, and would never face another battle without one another. "My bankai has improved too! I've been working hard to live up to Dad's reputation..." He knew if he mentioned his father, it would soften his Aunt's heart a little, as she did have some compassion for the loss of his father. "I don't have time for fights though..." Raine frowned at the mention of his usage of the gigai pills. "Plus they're fun to use! But no worries, Kurosaki is a nice person, from waht I understand and I don't think she did it on purpose." Raine's kind disposition was one of the key traits that seperated himself from his Aunt and Uncle. "You're asking for a sh*tload a' trouble!" Overpowering darkness...

Kūkaku ruffled a hand through his air before hopping back on the boar. She gave a slight laugh at the mention of not doing it on purpose. "Is that so? Well then, maybe I'll go pay her a visit! Anybody who came come close to takin' down my boy is a friend of mine! I wonder..."She looked into the direction of the Kuchiki manor, sniffing out the girl's reiatsu. "Damn, her spiritual pressure wreaks. Just like her old man." The Shiba took two fingers in her mouth and whistled, taking off to the manor of her friend's old training rival. Oh Yoruichi. Was it necessary for you to leave at a time like this?Boy ya got some nerve asking for an åss-kickin'! ((Off to the Kuchiki Manor! Raine prepare for a giant boar to destroy a cherry blossom tree or two. Or better yet, the koi pond. xd ))
