I have found happiness in life. I've had a perfect life before, Monkey.
Maybe I like feelin' vindicated for keepin' my happiness safe and out of harm's way. Maybe I like havin' my heart ripped out just to see Mari smile, or play my favorite song, or get that call from you in the middle of the night.
Life is misery, you just have to find the s**t that makes it worth it and keep them away from the bad s**t.
