Krista sat up alitle breathing hard, pulling her nad away from the bandage at her shoulder she frowns seeing the blood on her hand. Looking up she swallows alittle before looking at him trying to smile "I'm alright but I have a feeling the stitches in my shoulder have come undone..." she laughs alittle then winces. It was really all she could do not to cry. The pain in her shoulder was the worse one out of all of them.
Melantha smiles alittle then shakes her head "I know...Its just going to take sometime getting use to just being around you as a friend.." she looks over arching a brow at Lenore taking on a serious look that just didn't seem to fit her "Lenore as long as you have known Krista would she really do something like that? She might have said she give him over but do you think she really would have? This is my sister were talking about...."

Rinion grabs, gently, at Krista's shoulder, and looks down at the stitches. "No, Devlin and Darien are healing you, and now. I tried to do things your way, and it isn't working. You are going to sit there, and you are going to let them do their thing."
Rinion's voice is firmer, and a little harsher, than it ever has been. He means buisiness.
Just then, Devlin and Darien enter the manor, wiping their hooves on the rug considerately. "How may we help you, Rinion?" they say, in unison, and look down, as one, at Krista. "Oh, I see. With her permission, we will help her."
"That doesn't matter!" Lenore blows up, and stalks away from Melantha, pacing like a caged lion now. "She said it! She put my son in danger! I would never even offer Tinania, even to cover my a**! And she knows it! She went below the belt on that one, and she knows how I feel about that!" she wipes, hastily, at angry, blood tears.

Krista looks at her husband biting her bottom lip, she wasn't use to him having a harsh voice with her. Turning when she see the twin centaurs come into the home she looks down before nodding "Yes you may Devlin and Darien..." she doesn't look up, she didn't want to see the look in Rinion's eyes. She knew she was hurting him because of her being in pain.
Melantha rubs her temples shaking her head walkign over she wraps her arms around Lenore's shoulder holding her close "Shhh, I know Lenore. But trust me when I say she wouldn't have let anything happen to Damien..."

Devlin and Darien nod, and grab each other's hands. They starts to chant, in that odd language that they made up when they were younger.
Soon, a healing white light is enveloping them. Still holding hands, they take a few steps toward Krista, and kneel their front legs down, as one. They each place their free hand on Krista's shoulders, and start he healing process. . . .
Rinion watches Krista, worry in his eyes. He just hopes this works again. . . .
Lenore leans on Mel, knowing that she should be pulling away. Shaking with anger, she starts to deflate. Nodding, she says, in a soft voice, "Yes, I know. But, why did she have to be so stupid?" she says, gripping Mel's arms in her hands.

Krista winces alittle keeping her eyes close, that was the one thing she hated about her fathers attacks. That when healed with magic they hurt like hell.
Breathing hard she she dug her nails into her palm as she looks up at Rinion smiling alittle "Hey mela, I'm okay. Its just a small wound." she was trying so hard to be brave for him.
Mel runs her hands slowly over Lenore's back then using one finger she tilts her head up to loo into Lenore's eyes "Love, pride...these are both things that cause peopel to act foolish. Krista love for you as a sister blinds her sometimes to think and act foolish..."

Rinion grabs for one of Krista's hands, and covers it with both of his own. He smiles, still worried. "If you say so, my darling," he says, in a soft voice.
Darien and Devlin keep their eyes closed, rapidly getting weaker and weaker.
"These wounds were made with much hate," Darien says, in the language only her brother can understand.
"Yes, but we must not give up," Devlin replies.
"No," Darien says.
Lenore nods, biting her lower lip, as her amber, serpentine eyes meet Mel's green ones. "I know. . . . She and I have enough pride to both make us act stupid at times. And, I love her, even now that she is angry at me. Even as I was hurting her. . . ." her eyes water again, and she has to look away. "I am going to try to talk to her, soon. . . ."

Krista squeezes his hand closing her eyes as she bites her bottom lip. It was the pain she caused to her lip that kept her from blacking out at this point. Shaking her head she spoke out in a pained voice "Stop...you'll drain youselves, its not going to heal...."
Mel smiles kissing Lenore's cheek "Lenore, Krista don't hate you. Again anger clouds everything. But Krista can't hate you, just like you can't hate her." she pulls back smilng "You two should talk soon.."

Darien and Devlin lift their hands, but only after hearing the tone in her voice. "Krista," they start, in unison. "You are nearly healed. If you let us work a little longer, we can heal you fully. But, we cannot do it without scars. . . . At a later time, we can get rid of them for you."
Rinion kisses Krista's forehead, hiding his thoughts. This is Krista's decision. The twins are willing to finish it, and he wants them to. But, only if Krista thinks she can take it. . . .
Lenore nods. "I will. . . ." she says, ignoring the shiver down her spine at the kiss. She reaches up a scaled hand to touch the place where Mel's lips touched her cheek, and smiles slightly. "I am sorry to dump this on you. . . . Please, how are you, Melantha?"

Krista looks up at Rinion then moving alittle she winces a few times until she settles herself near his body. Closing her eyes she nods to the twin centaurs again "Okay go ahead, finish it...and don't stop even if I ask you too..." she looks up at Rinion as she took his hand back into hers again.
Mel shrugs alittle pushing her hand through her hair "Eh, I'm living...as I said earlier, been exploring a great deal. Seeeing what all is on this estate. Trying to find myself again mostly..." laughing alittle she steps away as she leans against a boulder.

Rinion takes both of Krista's hands firmly in his, hoping to lend her some strength.
The twins nod, and start to chant again, in perfect unison. They rest their hands on Krista once more after unifying again.
It doesn't take too much longer. They yank their hands away when they are finished, and lean heavily on each other. "We are finished," they say as one.
Rinion is worried about Darien and Devlin, but right now, he is just holding onto his wife. He does, however, say, "Thank you, Devlin and Darien. Please, can I get you anything? Something to drink, maybe some food. . . ."
They won't respond until they are sure that they have finished their work for now. They watch Krista entently.
Lenore nods, looking away from Melantha a moment. "I understand. . . . It's hard. . . ." she says, referring to the last of it. "How is that going for you?" she asks.

Krista opens her eyes breathing alittle better, she moves although she knew she should towards Rinion wrapping her arms around his waist. Looking at the twisn she smiles "Thank you, I'm okay now. Please can we get you anything?"
Melantha shrugs as she places her hand palm down on the bouldre "I'm not gonna lie. Its a pain in the a**. I had everything I wanted..." shaking her head she smiles even if it was a weak one "But yea, I'll find myself sooner or later.."

Darien and Devlin shake their heads, as one, again. "We are fine. We are happy that you are as well. We will leave the two of you alone, now. Krista, do not hesitate to call on us again, if you ever want to get rid of your scars," they say.
Then, slowly, the twins push themselves back up onto their legs, and laeve the home, leaning on one another.
Rinion watches them go, a little worried. Not for too long, though. He watches as a familiar, brown and blue, canine-like creature starts to follow them. Smiling, knowing that Lucius will take care of the centaurs should they need it, he looks back at his wife.
"Are you in much pain? Can I get you anything?" he asks.
Lenore blinks at what she hears, and tries to push it from her thoughts.
She doesn't ask about it, even though she desperately wants her to elaborate. It would just be bad, for both of them. . . .
"I do wish you the best of luck with that, Melantha. There is nothing worse than feeling that you have lost your way," she says, softly. She would know, because that was how she felt for a long time before meeting Melantha. And, when Eirnae came home, she felt set-off again. She is back on course, though.
She just can't tell Melantha that she is the one that helped her get back. So, she remains silent about it, and clasps her hands behind her back.
