
This was... troubling, to say the least. To think that Aila had made a promise to kill someone... It was almost terrifying for Lilith to think about. She definitely hoped Aila knew what she was doing, but... you could never tell. Either way, it was her problem and hers alone. Lilith shouldn't do anything to interfere.
Lilith gave a small nod in response to Aila's thanks as she stood, gathering her belongings.
"You're welcome," she said as she turned to go. She gave a slight inclination of her head to signal to Nerezza that it was time for them to depart, and the Gastly began to follow after her human.
Before they left, though, the Ghost Pokemon paused and glanced back to the young human girl with a small, fleeting look of concern on her face. She quickly hid her brief flash of sentimentality by turning away and hastily returning to Lilith's side. Lilith herself smiled a bit.
"...Be careful, Aila." With that, she and Nerezza left Aila's company, both feeling the gravity of what the young woman had told them on their shoulders as they walked away.
