Itov allowed himself to sit down a lean back shocked. “There are many foxes that would bold as soon as they realized that who they are speaking with is the nephew by blood and grandson by adoption of a murder. I wouldn’t have blamed you if you had left.” Sill I’m glad she didn’t it is nice to speak with someone who does not simply see me as the product of a messy family. Rarer still someone who doesn’t frown at my family entirely. “I don’t think you’re weird, though I doubt I’m the ideal version of ‘normal’. As for undatable. It’s not my place to say, however I believe there is a fox out there for everyone. My two fathers are poof enough of that. Favorite food.. ” Itov had to think about this for a moment. He actually started to blush and he looked down to the ground. “I ah… enjoy sweet things like human candy.” He looked back up quickly trying to change the subject. “What is your favorite hobby?”

"pfft thats utterly stupid. I mean okay so you're related to a mass murder, that doesnt mean that you are him or have any of his tendencies. Foxes some times can just be so" Samhain stated with a frown on her face as she violently shook her hair. "so what if you have a huge family its not like it's such a scary thing. Bah the cowards, there are plenty of scary and more acceptable things to flee from" she finished her rant and then broke into a smile before slowly moving the bookcase aside and reaching behind the space for something. Seconds later she pulled out a small little chocolate ball. "here then for you" Samhain said with a smile. "ah favorite hobby? Well I have lots of them. Tricking people in good nature is sort of fun. Scaring my self is also fun. Um I also like looking at storms. I guess I like all sorts of stuff" Samhain smiled. "hmm okay my turn again. Whats your favorite phase of the moon then?" she asked skeptically.

Itov took the small chocolate ball still slightly embarrassed. He took a few moments fumbling with it to unwrap it. It was smooth milk chocolate that made Itov hum slightly in pleasure. It was so tasty. He listened to her hobbies as he ate. “Scaring yourself seems like it would be hard to do.” Itov nodded. “Storms are very beautiful to watch. My favorite phase of the moon is what’s called a ‘slipper moon’ it’s the two days before and after a new moon. Supposedly it’s a time that one can make a wish on the moon and have it come true. The full moon and new moon are nice too but my favorite is definitely a slipper moon. Mm.. what kind of plants do you like?”

"ah well its more like going into places you find slightly scary. Trying things like going into tree's if you are afraid of heights... well that doesn't exactly fit in my case" Samhain pointed out. She tilted her head to the side and thought what type of plant she liked the most. "ah well I dont tend to do too well with plants but I would have to say my favorite one would be the hydrangeas" she told him watching as he ate the candy she had given to him. "hmm whats your favorite animal...?" she finally decided.

Itov finished mowing on the chocolate savoring the taste. “Thank you for the chocolate. It was delicious. I know about hydrangeas. My sister Yavie calls them ‘snowball’ plants because of the way the flowers grow on the plants. I like them fairly well although my favorite plant would have to be morning glories.” Itov took a breath. “I like cats. I know that must sound strange since I’m a fox, but I like the way that cats can be shy yet still cuddly. ” Itov though for a moment how Yavie laughed at him for such a comparison but still… this was Samhain. She didn’t laugh at my family so maybe she won’t tease me for this. “mmm What is your … ah.. what is the chance of you taking me on a tour of this house?”

Samhain got a slightly worried look on her face before pausing for dramatic effect was finally ruined by her giggling. "I would say there might be a pretty good chance" she pointed out smiling. "Its not strange. Foxes like different things. Cats are cut, especially kittens when they want to play with you. Of course any sort of child is cute" Samhain pointed out. "oh before I forget you are welcome. Hmm I guess there aren't too many questions left. ah I have one. How do you feel about music"

Itov smiled. “Yes most anything that’s young is cute. I suppose that’s why even at his worst my grandfather Sin wasn’t so bad. He never once hurt a kit. He even adopted my father Ixen who was a lost kit that was scared and hungry.” Itov had a hard time imagining his father as a wide eyed terrified little kit but according to Ixen at one time he was. “I happen to very much enjoy music. I do not have any specific types of music that I prefer. I guess that’s because there is music for every kind of occasion. There are times when sad slow songs are called for and times when happy upbeat tunes are more appropriate. What about yourself? Any type of music captivate your soul?”

"I would think its so that other people wouldnt find them in it to kill the children until they reached adulthood but there are so many cases in the animal world where young are attacked that I know this isnt the case. Hmm I like celtic music obviously as you can tell from earlier. I and another friend of mine come from the land of ireland so that could be why" she smiled. "What is your favorite season" she asked.

“It makes sense. After all the reason fish lay so many eggs is because many of them are eaten. The same is true with insects.. Seasons? Well I like both spring and fall. The colors of the flowers or leaves are very pleasant. Besides the temperature isn’t very extreme about those times. Staying outside isn’t hot or cold at the time.” Itov liked the colors but was also very practical about the weather. “What was Ireland like?”

Samhain looked over at the bookcase again. What was Ireland like. It had been such a long time since her and Aisling had been forced to leave their family. There where so many emotions and feelings behind her home. "Well Ireland is... ireland is special. There is an energy there that seems missing from this place that you find all over the place. Its almost always green with rolling hills and the mist will creep up over the land shrouding a sense of mystery behind it. Flowers litter the meadows and human ruins of buildings and castles can be found all over.. Its...its hard to describe really. Ireland is more of a place that needs to be shown" Smahain pointed out. "Second to last question I guess. What kind of food do you dislike" she said figuring since she had asked the opposite of the question earlier might as well go with this one this time.

Energy that isn’t found around here? Surely there are pockets here and there. And there are lots of flowers and mist? It sounds like a place that I would enjoy. I wonder how it feels in the mist there. Some mists are gentle kisses and others are dank and distant.. I can’t really ask her how it feels though since each fox sees and feels different areas differently. The place seems like it has a lot of meaning to Samhain. Maybe there is an area nearby that make her feel more at home. If anyone can grill people for information it would be my little sister Yavie. She might not be all that subtle but if I ask her to keep her ear to the ground she’ll find out about Ireland from other foxes for me. I’ll have to get something for Samhain as something nice both for listening without judging and simply for being so amazing….. “I dislike sour things. I always end up making a face and being laughed at.” Several short memories buzzed in the back of Itov’s mind and he unintentionally made a face that mimicked his face after eating tart berries.

Samhain drew her self out of her thoughts on ireland and shook her head knowing that for a while she couldnt go home as the human population there seemed at war with the southern part of her green island. She looked back up to listen to Itov since he was answering her question and Samhain laughed a bit but not at the fact he was making a face or he didnt do so well with sour food. "its not funny at all its rather cute." Samhain stated nodding. "of course it could be girls laughing but it my case I dont mean it in a harmful way." she pointed out.

Blushing Itov pulled his head back a bit. She is even cuter when she laughs. “Well you don’t seem like you mean any harm so you’re laughter doesn’t bother me so much. In fact it’s very cute.” Suddenly the memory of meeting Samhain before and playing the small staring game with her came into his mind. He even remembered going up and licking her and Itov blushed harder. “oh um… what kind of food do you like Samhain.” Itov tried to change the subject.

a slightly knowing glance passed over her visage as she guessed what he was thinking... or at least remembering. Normally she would be turning rather shy at the fact he was complementing her but that could always be remembered later. "hmmm my favorite food. I would say it would have to be the same as you I love human candy as well. However I could say anything sweet I would probably like" she answered. "and at least my last question If your were to get an opportunity to live anywhere in the world, which part of the world would you choose?" she stated

“Great minds must think alike.” Itov smiled warmly. He completely remembered Samhain and was happy about it. His tail swayed back and forth and threatened to start wagging on him. “I would like to live in Ireland from the sounds of things; or if not Ireland itself than at least a place like it. It sounds like a place that I would enjoy a lot even though I’ve never been there.” Itov sat down and carefully looked at Samhain trying to gauge the weight of his last question. I like Samhain and I did even as a kit. We have quite a bit in common and I feel like we could definitely get along quite well. I know she said that many other foxes wouldn’t find her datable and weird, but she isn’t like that to me and I’m sure a number of other foxes. Thinking about her winding up with a mate bothers me somewhat… I am sure to be rejected but I can’t help but ask. I really hope she at least considers saying yes. “Would you ever date me?” Itov almost asked if Samhain would be his mate but he thought better of it since she might not even like him enough to date him much less mate him.
