Atticus had thrown some pants on before they got there, not wanting to seem indecent... Not that anybody would've cared.
Except Riyo, who he had no idea was also there. "Welcome to my home." He said unenthusiastically, a little shocked to see Blade so trashed.
For a crummy apartment, it looked like Atticus had made the best out of the situation. The home was very cozy with a victorian-esque feel to it. And tidy.
That was about to change, since Blade was dripping blood everywhere. "Lay him on the couch. I've set all my stuff in the livingroom to take care of him." He worked fast, apparently.
While Riyo would've usually taken the opportunity to scream at Atticus, the thief's well-being was more important at the moment. "Can you fix him?" riyo asked the doctor, worry apparent in her eyes.
Atticus raised a brow at the question... It was a little unlike her to be worried about someone else. "I'll do what I can."

"..I'll try not to..." he muttered to Neko, not all too audible. The warmth inside of Atticus's place was welcoming, but he still felt very very cold. He tried to lift his head to get a better look around, but it didn't work all too well.
Blade's face contorted with pain as he was laid onto the couch; the movement shifting the dagger in his chest. At that point, his breathing had become a little ragged and weak. Staring up at the ceiling, he tried to stay conscious and attempted to get his eyes to come into focus. It finally did after a moment or so.
Turning his head a bit, he looked over towards where Riyo was. Though worried she seemed, he had a fairly morbid thought that he'd soon be forgotten should he bite the dust tonight. That may be better, he figured, as it'd mean she wouldn't be hurting from lost for long. Lost was a terrible feeling after all.

"Don't just try because if you die I will be pissed." Not the nicest of things to say but it was about as motivational as Neko got sometimes. His nicer side wasn't showing today. Laying Blade down on the couch, Neko took a step back watching Atticus go to work. It seemed like the man worked quickly to get everything put together. "Do you need help with anything?"
He placed a hand on Riyo's shoulder to pull her back out of the way as well, eyes turning to Blade to monitor his condition. The boy looked extremely pale from all the blood loss and he was obviously in pain still. Hopefully that wouldn't last much longer.

When Blade was finally taking up residence (and bleeding) on his couch, Atticus moved over to examine the boy, automatically seeing the biggest issue. "Alrighty." The doctor started, taking out a wooden stick out of his bag and placing it over Blade's mouth. "You just go ahead and bite down on this and think of something pleasant... Like uh. I dunno. Naked women I guess."
Glancing back at Neko, Atticus gave a nod. "Take one of those big gauze pads out of my bag and be ready to put pressure on the wound when I pull this knife out." He instructed, waiting for Neko to ready himself before he even touched the object.
As Riyo was pulled away from the situation, she didn't try to fight Neko. No need to fight the people who're trying to help...
Though Atticus's suggestion made her raise an eyebrow. Was he trying to call his sexuality into question or something?

Blade was a little too out of it to put much thought into Atticus's suggestion, but it did sound odd. He was having trouble focusing on anything that wasn't morbid or dark in some way at the moment. Biting down onto the stick weakly, he tensed a bit at what was to come. He knew it was going to hurt like no tomorrow. Especially with the slight curve the fang had.
His eyes lazily shifted from the doctor to the janitor to Riyo and back. If Atticus were to look carefully at the wound either now or once the dagger was out, he would notice the flesh at the edge was tinged black.
Nice thoughts, nice thoughts..
Not being alone would be nice. Or having something kind of like a family. Granted those people didn't decide they didn't want him around and ditch him... Would that happen with Riyo? Or the others who seemed to tolerate his existence?
So much for the nice thoughts.

Doing as instructed, Neko grabbed a few of the large gauze pads and readied himself to put pressure on the wound. Placing his free hand on Blade's shoulder he pushed him down a little not sure if the boy still had enough energy to thrash or not. Better safe than sorry.
"Alright I'm ready." He gave a nod turning to the wound and noticing the flesh looked a little odd. Guess that would be step two of their concern, step one was just removing the blade.

Atticus wasn't particularly concerned with the way the wound looked as much as he was with the knife. Instead of giving some kind of verbal warning, the doctor took the blade in his hands and pulled it out with the snap of a finger. Not the strongest of souls, but damn was he fast. Only half-way examining the object, he sat it down to the side so they could worry about what the hell had happened later. "One blade successfully extracted from... Blade. Hm. Ironic."
Riyo watched carefully as Atticus worked, almost missing the sight of him pulling the blade out. Wasn't the first time she'd forgotten how fast he worked.

Without much warning, Blade soon jerked and let out a muffled cry as the dagger was pulled from his chest. He nearly blacked out there from the immense pain that he felt, and it only faded away a little once it was over with. Despite the weapon being removed, and the fact that he wasn't really moving at all, it still felt like something was ripping away at him.
Relaxing a little once more, he wheezed a bit and looked towards the others. With the knife gone, he was bleeding a little more freely now, and the thief was already pale enough that he could probably pass off as a vampire.

Once the blade was free Neko did as he was told and put pressure on the wound. His hand pressed firmly on the spot hoping to slow if not stop the blood flow that seemed to be going on. "While I enjoy the irony myself..." Neko started unsure how to put what he wanted to say delicately. "He's fading pretty fast. If he gets any paler he's going to start sparkling."
Turning to look at Riyo, he nodded her over. "Can you talk to him? Keep his mind occupied." While it wasn't a head injury Neko still wasn't sure how much of a good idea it would be if Blade blacked out or fell to sleep.

"I think three undead creatures is enough for our school." Atticus mused as he retrieved the stick from Blade's mouth to set it aside, now fully focused on stabilizing the wound. "You said an ambulance was on it's way, right?" The doctor asked, dabbing the wound ever-so-lightly with alcohol. "I'll let them stitch it up. No need to put him through a makeshift procedure."
Riyo's eyes widened when Neko called her over, nervously looking down at the boy as she frantically thought of something to talk about.
"Um." Stepping forward, she knelt down next to Blade, still at a loss for what to say, she went through her options. She was Blade's friend, but didn't know a whole lot about the guy. But she did know he was a guy.
"Okay. So I watched this porno a couple of days ago..." What a great way to start a conversation. Riyo continued talking about this... Interesting venture between two men and a fat chick. It was by no means pleasant... But what a story.

Blade's attention shifted over towards Riyo as she knelt down by him. He simply stared at her for a moment or so as she brought up the topic of a porno. Well this was an interesting conversation. A threesome with a fat girl; that didn't sound very pleasant at all like she said. At times his eyes raised with a sort of 'really?' type expression to times where he more or less cringed... and not because of the pain in his chest.
As unpleasant as the story was, it did keep his mind occupied off of the pain and dying in general.
"D-damn... " he shuddered, not able to speak all too loud, "H-how'd you keep watching that...?"
Around now, the distant sound of a siren could be heard. Most likely the paramedics would be arriving to grab Blade within the next few minutes.

Neko raised a brow at the topic of discussion that Riyo had decided on. It wasn't really what he had in mind but he supposed it worked. Head perking up at the sound of the sirens in the distance, Neko turned slightly. "Sounds like they close now."
It didn't take much longer before the paramedics needed buzzed in, the trail of blood leading to Atticus' apartment a big clue on where they needed to head. Like Neko there was a short knock before they came in, immediately swarming Blade on the couch. A paramedic took Neko's place in putting pressure on Blade's wound, trying to get a feel for the situation while they waited for the gurney to be brought in.
"Are you injured anywhere else?" She asked in a fairly calm voice while checking vitals.
Stepping back once he was no longer of use, Neko just watched them take care of Blade. Hopefully they had everything under control.

If Atticus had a horrified face, he would've no doubt used it as Riyo went into small details of this... Video. "Are you ******** insane?" He asked as he finished what he was doing... Though it had appeared to work.
Shrugging at both of the comments she got, Riyo chose to respond to Blade's instead of Atticus's obviously rude one. "I've watched thousands of them. Most of it doesn't surprise me now." she said matter-of-factly, immediately moving back as the paramedics arrived.
Silently she looked up at Neko, wondering what they should do. Would they go back to what they had been doing or follow Blade? Could they follow Blade? She imagined not...
Atticus followed in suite as the woman arrived, not wanting to get in the way of her work. It looked like the boy would be alright. At least, he hoped so.

Thousands? Blade had to wonder if that was an exaggeration. He had seen a fair share but it was to be expected... being a teenage guy and all. He wasn't even aware that girls watched that sort of thing ever.
Flinching a little, even while the paramedics were trying to be as careful as possible with him, his eyes drifted towards the others briefly as he realized he was going to be taken away. Somehow the thought of being left alone again didn't sit all too well with him. Despite the bleeding being slowed thanks to their efforts, he was already very weak.
"Does he have any family members any of you could contact about this?" one of the medics asked the rest of the group.

"Uh..." Neko looked a little dumbfounded for a moment as he tried to think. "I...I don't think he does." He was the kid that was semi-permanently living at the school because his parents were both gone. Neko imagined if he had an option he would be with other family members but that didn't seem to be the case. "I'll call Hakim..." Looking to Riyo Neko wasn't sure what else to do. "Do you mind keeping him company for now?"
Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his own cell phone, looking up the number he needed to call the headmaster. It didn't seem to take him long to find it before he dialed out, the conversation brief since he really didn't have too many details to share. Hopefully Blade would be able to fill them in when he wasn't in such a dire situation.
The gurney was rolled in shortly after and with care they lifted Blade onto it, strapping him in for the ride back to the ambulance. Paramedics continued to hover about him trying to keep him as stable as possible but unfortunately not much would be able to be done until they reached the hospital.
"Come on, let's move," The woman paramedic said as she tried to hurry her team along. Time was of the essence.
