Sai turned his head slowly to look at Sennyo, his eyes observing the boy's face for a long moment before sighing and nodding his head. Gingerly he pushed himself back up to stand and touched the back of his head softly, instantly cringing at the pressure. It wasn't so bad. He had probably only cut the skin of his skull, it would heal up within a few moments as good as new. "Right." The words came out in a soft whisper so not to alarm whoever had just entered the cave, but instead of moving foreword Sai stood there just observing Sennyo. It wasn't for another long couple of seconds before he continued on, "You're very short... You know that?" The boy said before holding back a chuckle and stalked his way back to the opening of the room.
Stopping just before the end of the tunnel that entered back into the opening of the cave, Sai held a hand out to signal Sennyo to stay still behind him. Carefully, Sai reached into the pouch that hung at the side of his belt and retrieved two small silver pelts that he held firmly between his index, middle and ring finger. With his other hand he strung about a fast set of hand seal, holding the final seal and took in a deep breath. Quickly Sai swung himself around the edge of the tunnel and into the cave, the hand holding the seal raised to his lips as he aimed his mouth in the direction of the intruder. But as Sorain came into view behind the familiar intruder, he quickly turned his head in a different direction and let out a gusty breath, flames expelling from his mouth in a weak wave as he did.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Sai questioned, his head still turned away as he pocketed the silver pelts and breathed heavily. Eyebrows furrowed in a mix of curiousity and anger, he turned his gaze to the short kid that stood between him and his brother. It was the same kid he had ran into out in the blizzard and it was now obvious Sai had made a horrible job of making sure he got back not followed. "Why did you follow me?" (123 since Prox Joined)

As Soul crouched for a while listening to the conversations that had been going he tried to plan a way to come into the picture. A way to introduce himself that didn't seem like 'Hey there I stalked you to this hidden cave and intruded on your privacy' As he was deep in thought it became painfully obvious that it got rather quiet. He looked around but found nothing. He listened carefully and could hear nothing other than the usual noises you would assume you'd find in a cave, dripping, echoes, and blistering silence.
Just when Soul was about to stand he turned and saw a guy who looked just like the man who had stopped him in the snow. Soul brought his right hand up to his hood and removed it, revealing his tall spiked hair hoping to get the 'Who the ******** are you' look off of the man's face. Oh come on he has to recognize me.. I mean I know that it has to be stressful n all with a sick brother and all bu- Just then the vision returned and he remembered the mirror image of the guy in his arms.. The Twin brother.. he must be standing in front of the twin right now and not him. As Soul realized this his hand automatically reached for his Kunai and brought it from his pack. He held it blade facing away from him while his other hand was prepared to throw out hand signs if it were needed. Soul widened his stance and prepared for a confrontation, then just as he was ready to pounce he felt a burst of heat from behind him. The room lit and chills ran down his spine. He instantly turned around and took a double take because standing before him was damn near the exact person that was behind him. s**t I gotta remember they are twins.. Now's not the time to think about that.. Soul looked the guy in the eye's, "I was alone and to be honest. I was curious about your story and why the hell someone would be wondering through this s**t. Your explanation seemed too unreal to be true, but too far fetched to be false, so I had to see for myself.. Now I am here because well.. Who the hell wants to be stranded in a blizzard. I was going to say something at the igloo, but I couldn't find a right way then that girl.. then you guys left.."

Sorains teeth clinched together as he listened to the words this new found spiky haired guy had made the mistake of speaking directly in front of him. Jumping directly off a cliff to the first conclusion that he could make Sorain reached forward and snatched his brothers shirt collar and pulled him close, "Tell me you did not just talk to a shinobi that we dont know? Better yet, tell me that you did not just openly lead this mother ******** to where we are sitting? Are you serious? This guy could go directly back and tell everyone that we are here, next thing you know we could be up to our asses in Shinobi all wanting us dead!" He yelled before throwing his brother away and returning his gaze to Soul, "I swear to god, if we are found here, im holding you responsible... ******** idiots." He said before sitting down and folding his hood back over his face and closing his eyes even tighter than he had before. He was seriously trying to make himself believe that this situation was not real. What the hell was going on? And now he finds out that there was some female whom had seen there little demon display. This situation was going even more sever than it was when he was on the verge of death. Now they had two loose strings to tie up if they were going to ensure that they were not found out. How in the hell could Sai think that this was a good idea. "Well. Since you two seem to know each other so well, why not try filling the rest of the party in huh?"

Sennyo followed Sai's instructions and stayed behind, but he seemed to know this shinobi, not that that was such a great comfort at this point. If Sennyo ran into any person from his old village, he certainly would not consider them a friend. Sennyo faced Sorain, as he walked in with his latest b***h fit. Good lord, this boy could whine. Sennyo was keeping his eyes on the shinobi, but he was not exactly worried, as it was three to one. This man could actually be useful. If they were in some kind of trouble, this kid could actually be a warning bell of more hell to come. If not, then Sennyo believed that they could safely assume that Sai was more in the right, and they were not actually in any real danger as of yet which meant they kill the kid and relax a bit. Then, they cover their tracks and resume Plan A. He was sure that everyone in the group was on his train of thought, so he figured he would just let things play out.

Quote: Haven't in the mood to post lately. Sai rolled his eyes and let out a soft sigh as he walked easily towards the short kid with spiky hair and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder in the same fashion he did the first time. "Shut the ******** up, Sorain. You ******** twit. I wasn't expecting the little s**t to come running after me to see if I was serious." Sai said with a growl, his hand brushing past Soul's collar as he raised it up from his shoulder. Holding out the hand to Sorain with his palm faced up he revealed two small contraptions, his other hand moving to pull a hearing device that looked like flesh from his ear. "I'm not as ******** stupid as you're taking me for. We both went through all those trainings and studies together, ya know. You're not the only one that knows how to predict the enemy and prepare." He growled before placing the fleshy material in bag along with one of the metal contraptions, the other he tossed into the snow wall that blocked the entrance to the cave. With a sigh he strolled over to his twin and stood beside him with his eyes resting on the kid before them. "I saw he had no headband but was equipped with shinobi gear so I assumed he was a rouge nin or something of the sorts. Possibly even an academy student. Regardless, I was hoping he would take the story back to someone, this way I could listen on the status and find out if there were any news of us reaching out here." Sai said, patting the bag on his side to show that it was the contraption he had put in there that were able to do that. Jerking a thumb at the snow wall that he had just threw the other contraption into he continued, "Good news, bad news. We would know and then ahem, they wouldn't anymore. If you get my jist. But at least we know one thing. If this kid hasn't been alerted to beware of any, um, activity obviously the news hasn't left the boards just yet and the country is most likely trying to keep this affair a personal one.
So you might just be right. We probably have company looking for us right now... So I say, lets be good hosts and prepare a warm welcome for our guests." He said with a grin before glaring at Soul, "But... What to do with you."(193)

Soul watched Sai walk over and his nerves jumbled until he felt the pressure of his hand on his shoulder like before. The memory of how it calmed him in the past had returned and soothed his shaking once again, at least until he felt his hand slide farther up his collar. At that point he was nearly going into defensive and was prepared to counter when he saw a device in Sai's hands. At first it pissed him off that he had been mistrusted, that he had been planted and used as bait, but the rational side began to flow back into him. After hearing everything they were just talking about.. how they were escaping from imprisonment and how they were most likely being hunted as we speak. It became clear that it was nothing against him and was more of a defensive precaution.
"You're right actually.. I left my village. I can't exactly go back. From the sound of it you guys can't return to your country either. I don't like to admit that I was listening in, but this is the only warm place around and the conversation was interesting.. If you'd let me.. I'd like to join you.. I just graduated not too long ago but I know I can be of use.. I'm a fast learner and I'm of the Nara clan. I was studying to become a tracking nin.. and I don't mind a fight." This is the most confidence Soul has ever shown since the day he had lost all control and killed the last person he had ever spoken to until this point. I have a bad feeling about this.. either they are going to accept me.. or they are going to kill me. It's 3 on 1 and I don't like the odds.. I've seen a small bit of their chakra and heard some of the stories of the demons that were within them. s**t this could be bad.
Soul felt bad at first for following.. he wondered what he had gotten himself into but stood strong and tried to look as composed and in control as possible. His posture was upright and his hair, adding a few inches to his height, made him look slightly more serious. All that was left now is to wait for their response.. The silence that filled the wait was like splinters to his ears.. they pierced his nerves and shook him on the inside as this could either be the beginning of an adventure he couldn't turn away from.. or the end of his life.

Sennyo maintained his angelic smile when he listened to the conversation. Sai and Sorain were certainly not being very civil to each other anymore, and Sennyo was wondering how that would affect their team dynamic. It wasn't that he really cared. He simply decided that they were an alliance of convenience, and he needed them to remain convenient. He was able to completely mask his disdain for this simply because he was always smiling, and he always sounded really happy. That was something, even though it annoyed him when he wanted to sound serious, he was grateful for because of its uncanny ability to make others believe he was innocent, harmless, and always on their side. Sennyo moved a little bit foreward closer to Soul. He decided that Sai and Sorain were going to have to choose this one because anything he said would sound incredibly hypocritical. It was not like Sennyo could argue against picking up inexperienced ninja that they had barely met. It was not like Sennyo could argue lack of skill. Seriously, all he could say is let the boy aboard, he has the same credentials as me, but that was against Sennyo's better judgement. Sennyo just stood there eyeing the boy and smiling a very amiable smile.
"Well, all I have to say on the subject is we have evidence for both sides of what we should do because it would be downright foolish to just let him go. I think the options should be let him aboard or slit his throat and leave him here in the snow to be dsiposed of some cute little wolves. However, you two can argue amongst yourself which is the better option. I cannot argue agains picking up strays." Sennyo continued smiling and, despite what he said his tone remained rather chipper.

Sorain shook his head, there was simply no way that he was going to be able to press the issue further. He had no intention of letting Soul leave, but at the same time he did not want to make a reputation of laying to waste anyone who should happen to stumble upon them. They were already listed as terriost to their village, the last thing they needed was to be labeled as such to the rest of the world. Regardless of rather or not Soul was still alligned to a village, if they killed him here and he was found it would no doubt be called a direct act of terror between the Mist Villages missing nin and what ever country it was that Soul was from. This was a shinobi world, built on the strength of war, and to give such a controversial reason for conflict was simply not logical for there given situation, they already had to deal with mist, he did not want to have to fight off the shinobi from Soul's country as well. On that thought Sorain finally spoke up, "Fine. He can stay, but im not counting on him in anyway." Sorain turned to face Soul, "You may accompany us. But know that you will not be getting any 'friendly' treatment until you prove yourself. Dont expect anyone to go out on a limb until we see what you got... also" He said taking a very serious tone, "You might want to make it a point to never stray to far out of our sight. I cant speak for the rest of the group, but If I even get a slight feeling that you are planning to betray us. I will ******** murder you my damn self, freeze your filthy corpse in a block of ice, and post it out in the open for everyone to see what happens when we are ******** with." and with that Sorain discontinued his input and sat down before pulling out a single senbon needle and blowing on it, causing it to turn bright blue from sheer cold. He then twirled it in his hands for a moment before tossing it directly towards the opposite cave wall causing it to shatter into hundreds of small shards.

Sai sighed heavily, his eyes watching his brother quietly before shrugging and turning away from the group and walking back down to the tunnel. He was quickly loosing interest in the situation the more they talked about it. His plan had already failed, the kid had followed him back instead of going back to whatever higher up he had to report back to and giving them the information of Sai and Sorain. Had the child actually done what Sai had expected of him, the crew would know the latest positions on local squads and also what their status was in the country they were in. Instantly afterwords the boy and whoever was in the immediate area would have.. "I suggest we move on out of this area now. This tunnel has a breeze coming from it so it must lead out some where." Sai said with a shrug before continuing on down the tunnel with or without the rest of the group. If they wanted to stay, it was on them. "But just letting you know, there's a bomb in the entrance of the cave it will cause this part to collapse if triggered. Have fun?" He called out from within the tunnel, a chuckle echoing along with his words as he disappeared deeper into the darkness within.
It was an oddly short walk through the tunnel but Sai didn't question his fortune as he kept his eyes trained on the light of the end before him. He hadn't bothered looking back to make sure the rest had came along. The sound of an explosion never came so he was sure the group must have followed or found an alternative, in which he would be on his own. It was more likely then not that it'll be the prior. "Hn..." The boy muttered through gritted teeth as the light became brighter the closer he neared, his hand raised up to shade his eyes protectively until he finally existed the other end of the cave.
The air was brisk with the cold and the sun was hanging high in the sky, the blizzard obviously had passed during the time the group stayed in the cave. A bright smile played across Sai's lips as he looked around at the rest of his surroundings. It was just his luck, the exist led straight into an abandoned town. The buildings were broken down and frosted over, the lack of attention over the time obviously displayed on their broken exterior. The streets were covered with snow but fortunately it was manageable and only came up to their ankles. Some of the stores seemed to have been in use recently but that was more then likely only by roaming travelers.

Relief was rushing through his entire body as they seemed to accept him. Regardless on if he truly wanted to join them or not.. it was the best alternative. Soul didn't really understand what he had just gotten himself into.. or just how deep these two were in on an extreme terrorist act against an entire village of shinobi. It was going to come down to a war and Soul was just now beginning to realize that.. <********.. I need to do something.. I can't take on skilled shinobi being as weak as I am.. What the hell am I going to do?
Soul's insecurities began to race through his head.. the memories were returning and there was nearly nothing that could calm them in this instant.. The echo of the ice shard shattering replayed over and over again through his mind. He couldn't quiet his thoughts or calm his nerves.. He began to slowly shake. His eyes closed and he knelt down to his knees as he tried desperately to quiet the memories.. the voices.. the thoughts.. The tugging at the back of his heart to lash out and kill, harm, destroy all who stood in his way. The darkness that lay waste to his sanity began to creep into his well being.. it spoke to him and gave him the dosage of hate that he had been neglecting. Soul tried to blend.. tried to hide.. what he didn't know is that his running wasn't from everyone else. Soul was afraid of himself. He had always had a fear of letting go, of releasing his anger and losing control. As he listened to the whispered beating of his heart the cave began to darken.
[Background Story/Flash Back]
The room was quiet and too much time was passing. Children could be heard in the background laughing.. running.. playing. In the other room sizzling and popping noises could be faintly brought to your ears if you were to listen hard enough. The heat from the open window beside Soul was soothing, and made him feel slightly nostalgic. He watched as the leaves, so green and alive, blew in the trees as the wind moved them to and fro. As he watched a blue jay landed among the branches and sang a small tune for merely seconds. It spread its wings wide and took flight. Yeah.. I wouldn't want to stick around here either if I had a choice.. It's not like I'm noticed.. Even now my brothers are having fun and haven't stopped once to see if I were there.. or what I was doing. As if on que the boys ran right past the room where Soul had been sitting. They didn't even so much as glance in his direction. They were playing Shinobi and missing nin. One child would be the missing nin and run from the shinobi of the village. The funny thing is I'd probably make a good missing nin.. hell it's not like anyone would notice if I were gone.. that and I seem to be invisible to everyone..
"Seth, Jake, Jasper, Leon, Cody! It's time to eat get in here!"
Their mother placed all 5 of their plates on the table in order from age.. the only thing she didn't even have a second thought to realize was that she had forgotten to place Soul's plate between Jasper and Leon's. In fact she had forgotten to make Soul a plate altogether. Soul's mother had done this many times and would tell him that she felt bad each and every time.. that it wasn't the fact that she forgot him, but that since he was the smallest he was the easiest to overlook. Some excuse that would play out to be when she forgot him without him even being in the room. Height would have nothing to do with that. Just last week Soul had begun to spike his hair.. it made him seem taller and hoped that it would gain the attention of his mother and brothers.. this way he wouldn't be so 'Short'. His plan hadn't worked, but it did gain the attention of the children at school. Ever since he began spiking his hair he was doing the exact opposite of what he had been trying to do. He was now sticking out in plane view.. he could be seen and noticed by all. The bigger kids in the academy called him the Failed Saiyan. They would point and laugh at him and some even took to physical violence.
Walking home from the academy one day Kit, not the biggest but among the larger bullies in the class, had followed him to his home. He stalked Soul down the roads and into back alleys. When Soul ran he was running as well.. When Soul took to a back road to get away Kit followed. Soul began to feel the fear building inside of him.. his heart began to race and his adrenaline was at its peak. Running into an area he didn't know well, he found himself at a dead end. He turned to find himself trapped, the large bully was standing before him with his fist clenched. Soul knew better than any what those bundled up fists were capable of. Blind rage building and clashing with fear created a tsunami of hatred.. it bleed through his pours and seeped over his eyes like a film until nothing was visible.
Soul came to while panting. He could hardly catch his breath and his head was dizzy. He felt as though he was going to faint. Kneeling down he began to regain his composure as well as his sight. At first it was all a blur. He only saw colors and could faintly make out a mass in front of him. His memory must have been failing him because he didn't know where he was.. what he was doing before the black out.. or why he felt sore and wet.. Wet? What is this?!.. why am I soaked?!
Soul held his hands before his eyes and began to tremble in fear.. Wha-.. WHY AM I BLEEDING?! WHAT HAPPENED!? Soul quickly inspected himself for wounds and then found out where the blood came from. 5 Feet in front of him was a body.. mangled and broken. The arms were broken and placed into ways that would make a mortician flinch. The legs were broken as well first at the knees then at the ankles. The boys head was nearly bitten clean off of his shoulders and his skull looked as though it were an egg, shattered into pieces while his brain being the yolk spilled out onto the ground. The eyes were gouged and his mouth, with missing teeth, was gaping wide open.
Soul ran a short distance trying to get the image of the destroyed body out of his head. He fell to his knees a couple blocks away and began violently vomiting all over himself and the ground. Tears were streaming, blinding him as they fell to the ground. His fists clutched at the ground as if it were taking all he had to keep him from lifting off and floating away from the planet.. Soul then passed out.
He awoke in his home, his clothes changed and his wounds tended as if they weren't there.. in fact Soul to this day believes it was nothing more than merely a dream..
[Background Story/Flashback End]
Soul felt his senses return to him. He looked up to catch Sai walking away into the tunnel. He had missed the whole conversation and only heard the last bit about following or staying. It only took him a few moments to figure out which he would rather do.. He didn't know the other two and while he didn't know Sai either.. he felt as if the moment they had before was more than he had with the others. He got up and walked through the tunnels. Soul pulled the hood over his face as he saw the tunnel opening. At first it looked like a light and only the cliche, 'stay away from the light' kept crossing his mind.. He couldn't help but chuckle a little as he walked. Coming through the opening he stood beside Sai and looked out onto the abandoned village. "I wonder who all knows this place exists anymore, and what would make all these people leave like this?"

Sorain followed his brother and Soul through the cave, figuring it was much better if they move to the back in case another stray managed to stroll by, at least they would not be noticed so easily. As he reached the other two, he stopped before gasping. Although he could not see, based on the feeling of the wind circulating it was obvious that this section of the cave was relitievly large compared to its front. Interesting to say the least. He listened as his hunch was confirmed by the words of his 'comrads'. "I guess this would be a good place to setup camp after all. Not much of that cold air is managing to get this far back, hell if we setup a few boulders that are large enough we could cut off the wind entirely. Leaving just enough space for us to enter and exit of course. This place is perfect" He said with optimism. Sorain was tired of fighting against his entire crew of pacifist, for now he would remain silent and put um his fist against his true enemies. When the time came, Sorain would show them that the world is not as nice as they would like it to be. The worst always happened, it was a fact of life that Sorain knew all too well. There pursuers would eventually find them, it was simply something that they would never be able to avoid. No, running was not the way, Kirigakrue would never stop searching for them. The time for evasion had passed, they needed to bide there time, gain more strength, and deal a blow to the Kirigakure forces that would get the army off their backs once and for all. Sorain sighed before pulling his arms behind his head to stretch. Instead of trying to prevent them from finding us, it is better to make them fear searching. He thought.
In the back of his mind Sorain knew the truth however, he knew that even if they went back and laid waste to every single person who would think to come after them, their village would simply enlist the aid from another country, before long the entire world would be after them, making them targets no matter where they went. It was sad but true, the only way for them to live in peace would be to eventually abandon who they were entirely. They would need to change not only there clothing and residence, they would need to change their habits, there looks, there likes and dislikes, everything that was Sai and Sorain would have to become classified knowledge. They would need to become nothing more than a rumor, a scary story to tell children so that they know to beware the shadows. Sorain frowned to himself, they would disappear from this world. Sorian vowed to himself that as soon as he got the chance, he would throw away anything that could relate himself to 'Sorain Orasakai'. He would cease to exist to the rest of the world. Never again would he answer to that name.. Eventually, he would have to become a new person. He prayed that it would not last forever, but he knew better. Realizing that his thoughts were draining his mood, he forced them aside and allowed himself to enjoy the moment of discovery, this cave would be a temporary home for them.. At least it wasnt so cold.

Sennyo practically chuckled. He could not believe the odd fortune of having a new companion at this particular juncture. He thought for sure that Sai and Sorain would have killed the boy, booby trapped his body, sent up a flare for reinforcements, and watched the fun. However, as Sennyo had stated earlier, he really had no place to be commenting on their picking up of strange ninja. In fact, he was downright hypocritical if he objected to the boy joining their little parade. He shook his head, adn he noted what Sai had said about a large bomb being at the entrance to the cave. Hm, follow him or die were two very good options, and Sennyo had to admit that he was truly not in the mood to perish. He immediately grabbed their pack and his coat from the floor before he followed Sai not really wanting to chance causing an explosion and a subsequent cave-in. When they exited the tunnel and came into the town, Sennyo let loose with a peel of child-like laughter. The Fate's had to be kidding. They were right here the whole time. What kind of bologna was this? He stopped laughing and began to look around at where everyone was going. Sennyo did his own little bit of reconnaisance. There was no one that he sensed, so that meant that they were expert at hiding chakra, did not have enough to be noticed by Sennyo, or were just damn lucky that Sennyo was mistaking them for the other three. He walked over to the nearest building, and he put his hand on the door, turned the knob, and the knob broke off. He looked at it curiously before he simply pushed open the door with a slight squeak. How wierd. It seemed to be a residential home, but it had obviously been in use as other things like a shop. Paintings on the wall suggested it to be a clothing shop, but only a few scraps remained behind. He went over to what he thought was the till. As he thought, no ryo. The clothes were ratty and possibly out of fashion, not that Sennyo truly cared about style. However, such clothes would make excellent fire fodder, so he took up a few more and stuffed them haphazardly in the pack after making sure they were bug free. He walked out of the home, and he walked to the building next door, simply looking in the window. Nothing really of value, but he might check it a bit later. He walked over to where Sai was, and he looked up at him.
"So, Sai, anyone, what's the plan from here? Or, are we shacking for the night in which case, I might ransack some houses and see what was left behind. Doubt anything truly valuable, but hey. One man's trash and all that." Sennyo smiled and swayed slightly from front to back. He was waiting to be commanded, and it was an odd sort of feeling, but there was another odd sort of feeling. Maybe it was all the stress of teh day, but he could swear that he had something going on inside him. There was something itching to shake loose, and he had no idea what it was. However, he was sure that it was not dangerous. After all, he had felt this before in times of stress, and he was sure that it would pass, but this time, it felt stronger, more pronounced. Maybe there was something to it.

With an raised eyebrow, the boy looked over to the short child beside him and simply shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows. Could be as simple as the blizzard was that intense? Or that some ice user came through and laid waste to everything. It's a mystery to me that at the moment I'm not to pressed to learn about... Feel free to find out on your own though, I'm sure the way the buildings are damaged will show whether its natural or Shinobi caused to a tracker like yourself. Just don't wonder off to far." Sai yawned lightly, his arms stretched out to either side before curling up behind his head as he paced his way through the abandoned town. The town was interesting, it would provide great shelter and if they were lucky they could find some supplies and be able to stay there for a night or two before heading back out to find some where more stable. If more shinobi found their way to them, they would easily be able to use this type of area to their advantage. All the ice that was forming on the walls of the buildings made it a frozen playground for the twins.
Sighing with a sense of irritation as Sennyo broke his train of thought, Sai turned to look at the short pixie. His eyebrows furrowed tightly against each other and he forced himself not to shiver at the sight of his comrade. There was something about him that made him more and more uneasy, or rather very, very creeped out. The boy may have yet to say anything, but other the time being along with the short shinobi it had become very obvious he had a sick sense of humor of some sort. He had watched them prepare and attack the village, knowing that they had launched their attack on the residency area of the village and would cause a large number of innocent deaths.... Sennyo smiled. Every other word out of his mouth seemed to be a suggest towards some sort of violence... But he still smiled happily as ever. Sai and Sorain argued and went at their throats... He smiled. Soul had arrived, he had suggested killing him and feeding him to the wolves.... And smiled while doing it. The kid had no problem with the nitty gritty and smiled through it too, it was very creepy.
"We'll be staying here for a night or two, so feel free to ransack and what not. We'll be staying..." Sai began, his eyes searching for a housing that seemed at least some what effective for the group to sleep in. However they all seemed the same to him, their condition was unanimously frozen, so Sai simply picked one through a mini game of inny mini minny mo. "In there. You heard everybody? That building over there, that's where we'll be staying today unless somebody finds some where better. But regardless, in three hours max come there just to keep things simple and what not. Soul, you on the other hand have no choice but to stick with me or Sorain. That's the biggest your choice can go." Sai said before walking off towards the said building he had chosen for residency. Sorain sucked his teeth at his brothers stupidity. "Oh you mean the house over there?" He said pointing directly up, "Oh oh no, you mean the one over here.." He said pointing in a random location. Sorain threw his hands out to suggest that he was not even going to bother protesting it further. He had enough on his mind as it was simply trying to fight his natural inclination to slaughter Soul and possibly Sennyo. He did not like the sitation they were in, and he made no point to try and hide it, but the least that he could do was not make it worse. Tucking the hood of his coat securely one more time Sorain marched passed Sai and the rest of the group to make his way through the abandoned village. He needed some time to think and to be alone, some place that was not freezing cold like the outside of the cave. As Sorain walked, he began to feel a bit uneasy. The erie silence of this place was foreboding to say the least. With each and every step he could hear the rock hard ground screaming out in protest against the weight that it had not felt in many years. The place was a ghost town, hell not even that. To be a ghost town there would at least have to be some signs that life was ever here, to the blind, there was none. Sorain continued pacing as he began to cycle through his memeries, he knew what had happened here, or at least he had a strong hunch. It was something that he had learned many years ago from his mother during one of there many story time sessions and although he was positive he was on to something, he could not for the life of him recall what it was. It was no blizzard, that was for damn sure, a blizzard could not possibly wipe out an entire village like this. It simply did not add up in his mind, for there to be a village here. As far as he could gather, the place was fairly large, however it did not seem so big that it would hold a massive population. With that in mind, in order for there to be houses here, it would have taken a considerable amount of time to contruct. The entrance was narrow, the weather would have been harsh, not to mention the fact that any agricultural life would have been nearly impossible. No, this village was inhabited by a spacific kind of people, the type of people who would have eventually, over the course of many years, learned to adapt to its harsh environment. Sorain stopped walking for just a moment to consider his thoughts more carefully. "The Wind Country" He said to himself, "Is a vast dessert with hardly any rain, hardly any plant life, and punishing suns. Yet the people there still manage to live even through the longest dry periods. A natural disaster indiginous to the Wind Country could never take them out, if such a thing was possible they would not have made it for so long.. Which means the same here." As he thought about it, the mysterious place seemed more and more appealing. He simply had to know. Sorain took a deep breath and listened out carefully to make sure that no one was in range to see him, he only hoped his estimate was right. Turning around and plotting himself on the ground Sorain folded his legs and placed his palms face up over his knees. He took a deep breath that encased his body in a cone of ice the moment he exhaled. He allowed his mind to wander, not forcing it in any direction, but mearly nudging it towards the information that he seeked.
< Flashback/Meditation State>
Sorain sat directly on the middle of his child hood bed. Although he was completely aware that he was in a meditative state, it was all so vivid that he could not help but to gasp at the sheer aw of it all. From the corner of his eye he spotted his mother, she was beautiful in every sense of the world. Though Sorain was blind in reality, in his dreams, and in his mind, he could see more clearly than anyone could ever hope to do so. She came in and sat down next to him and placed a light kiss on his forehead. Before he knew what he was doing his voice began to spill out, "Tell me a story mommy." The words seemed so childish, and yet, so innocent. The thought alone was enough to almost force Sorain into tears. It had been so long since he had heard his mothers voice, felt the warm motherly sensation of her touch as she stroked his hair lovingly. Here, in her presence, more so than anywhere else in the world, he felt protected. Here with her, he felt her motherly armor coating his body, ready to shield him from even the gods to keep him safe. If only Sai could join him in this blissful state. He opened his mouth to speak, "I miss you mom.. Everyday" but the words did not make a sound. He was in his own memories now, and there was no possible way for him to intereact with her other than to follow the dialog that had already passed between them, forever forced to watch his mother as a spectator to his own life. Never again would he experiance his mothers love, he was now doomed to a world without her. A freezing world that was more bitter than the coldest ice. "Lay back Ame' and I will tell you a story that will set your dreams ablaze with life and also make you never even think about ignoring me when I make you clean up." Sorain chuckled, not only because the memory dictated that he do so, but because he truely missed his mothers tragically inept ability to tell jokes. But it was a flaw that he loved about her, in fact, he loved everything about this women. The good, the bad, her ups and her downs, she was everything to him. She was literally the most important person in the world. He would sell his own soul just to be able to speak to her one last time. "This is the story of a proud village hidden in the deepest snow. It was a few years ago. Me and your father were instructed by the village higher ups to head to the Land of Frost to assist the Leaf Village in a great battle. You see, the leaders of our village wanted to be friends with the leaders of Leaf. So when the war started, they voluntarily sent us to help them win their battle. " Sorain remained silent as his memories began to weave the tale. "Me ad your father, like I said, headed to the Land of Frost. It was a very cold place, it snowed every single day. But for me, it was almost like a paradise. All that snow, all that ice, I felt right at home. " she said with a smile. "Anyways. Me and your father" She repeated for the third time, "Went there and searched out the Frost Village. When we got there we were faced with a great foe. The battle was epic and lasted for over four months. We eventually fought our way down to the last of the villages Shinobi, but they were the strongest of them all. I told your father that we should have attacked them first, but hes a big softy you know? Anyways. As the battle raged on we found the heart of their village, which was hidden inside a dark cave on the side of a large mountain. It was like there escape place, I guess they figured that because it was harder to find it was a good place to hide. But little did they know the Mist Villages Frozen Swallow and Burning Wolf were on the job." She held her hand to her face and blushed as she remembered how cool she thought their 'nicknames' were. "Anyways. We got in there and your father.. What a man. He unleashed so much chakra it was amazing. He covered the entire village in snow which I then used to freeze everything in sight. We fought them for days and it did not seem like they would ever give up. And so..." She paused. "We decided to deal a final blow. Me and your fathers more deadly attack. 'Castle of Frost'. It was a technique that we had developed by chance during a few training sessions, something that we never thought would ever be used in battle. You see son, there is a secrete about us that makes us so special. " Sorain interjected, speaking up through his amazement, "You mean the Demons!!" He said, exitedly. His mother paused as he held her hand to her chest. She had not known that her Son was aware of such things, at least not yet. "Yes, but.. Not exactly." The thought crossed her mind at what she was about to say, would this be a good time to tell him? No. He was far to young to know the truth. That the seal that was used to secure their demons was a weak one in many ways in that his father's seal broke the moment his seed was spilt, and hers the moment the egg was fertilized. Her greatest fear was that at some point the seal would show itself on her sons. She looked down at her bare palm where the seal had once been.. Returning to the subject she began speaking again, "The demons did help yes, but this skill was deadly for another reason. Im sure you know what Kekkei Genkai are by now. It is the blood line limit that one is born with. I am a descendant of the Yuki clan, often called Mizu. It gives me the ability to control two chakras in separate hands. Wind in one, Water in the other. When they are placed together it creates Ice. Your father, is one of the great descendants of the Uchiha clan. A clan known for its legendary Sharingan. A powerful eye jutsu that can copy any skill it sees, cast powerful Genjutsu, and even in your fathers case, create ever burning black flames." Sorains eyes opened in amazement, "and you Ame. You are very special. You and your brother posses not one, but both of our blood lines. A very rare occurance. The Mizu clan, was almost entirely wiped out long ago, as well as the Uchiha clan. To find two of them from the same generation is extreamly rare. But to have them bare children that can master them both. It is simply unheard of... Anyways" She said, once again getting back on subject, "Castle of Frost, was a skill that utilized both. I could use my ice, and create a huge castle of ice, that could encase an entire village, that could not be melted by even the hottest fire. Your father, created his black flames and set the castle ablaze. An ever lasting fire, and an impossible to melt Ice. The Village was raze for over a year. Even after the Leaf Village had entirely pulled out. Still the frozen blaze raged on. " She chuckled, "To be honest, im not even sure if its gone yet. I guess it would be though, we have not felt the pull of its sustain in many years. But wouldnt it be a hoot if it was still there? It was a beautiful sight Ame.. Deadly Beautiful."
Sorains eyes remained shut as a single tear escaped his eye lids. Seeing his mother again, hearing her voice, it was a blissful peace that he desperately needed at that moment. He had always known his parents were strong, but to lay waste to an entire village. It was down right ruthless, it was unmerciful, and it was truly beautiful. Such a display of raw power was something to gawk at. That was the power he wanted. That was the power he needed. To encase this world in Ice. He would need to learn the secrates to the Castle of Frost. That was the key to his conquest. It was the key to his freedom. Sorain got to his feet and sprinted back to his brother, in his haste, he nearly tripped on something sticking up from the ground. He stopped for a moment to investiage it. He crouched down and snatched it from the ground. It was encased in ice, but none like he had ever felt in his life. It was obviously ice due to its sheer cold, but what was strange about it was how dry it was. It seemed as though it held no moisture, and even to touch it was literally damaging his skin. Sorain dropped the Ice rock and used his sleeve to pick it back up. Inside, through the massive amounts of cold, he could feel something, some strangely warm, as if it were alive. Sorain lifted the rock over his head before smashing it down to the ground, but nothing happened. It simply bounced off the rock as if it were rejecting the attempt to break it. Sorain was puzzled, he reached down and grabbed it again, deciding to try another approach. Sucking his breath in, he breathed out heavily, encasing the icy rock with another layer of frost, that seemed to cause a reaction instantly. Following up on his idea, Sorain tried again, this time, instead of frost, it was simply water that expelled from his gullet. The water laid over the rock, causing it to melt instantly. Sorain reached down into the puddle that he had created and pulled out a pendant. A strange circular pendant that Sorain wished desperately that he could see. The pendant was warm, like it had been sitting next to a toasty fire for years. He held it in his hand, feeling it all around in an attempt to 'see' it. The outlines gave him a mental depection of what seemed like a Ying Yang symble. However, as he traced it further, it was engraved with an upwards facing wolf, and a downwards facing bird of some kind. Sorain frowned before placing gripping it tightly to feel for how dense it was. The moment his hand covered it his body went numb, he fell back, motionless against the hard ground.
The room was dark, only lit by four torches. Once again, Sorain found himself in a dream state, one in which his vision had not yet left him. He looked around, in pure shock at what was happening, the only conclusion that he could come up with was that the pendant had been sealed with a Genjutsu, triggered by his touch. He found out shortly, that he was wrong. In front of him, he saw a large wooden box that was covered in chains attached to the floor. Inside the box was a large slit, from which Sorain could see a pair of bright yellow eyes. The sight alone was horrifying. Sorain stumbled back at the sheer evil that seemed to pour outwards from those deadly eyes.
"You! You are Sorain yes? Huhahaha. I was wondering how long it would take you to discover me you stupid child. But then again, I guess you were never properly trained by your pathetic village. ******** humans, always thinking that they can control fate. Hah!" the beast screamed at him. Its voice was raspy and horse and did not sound human at all. "Do you know who I am?" His voice was condencending as if Sorain was being mocked for his ignorance. Sorain shook his head no, still too dumbfounded to speak, "I am Houkou!! Your race sometimes refers to me as Gobi aka the Five Tailed Dog!" Sorain gasped in shock at the words that he was hearing. He had always known that his parents demons were passed on to them, but he had never actually seen it with his own eyes until now. "To think that they would list me as a ******** Dog. Pathetic humans know nothing of our origins. We are constantly mistranslated. Im no ******** dog. I am a wolf and you! You are the unlucky mother ******** that is going to have to live with me for the rest of your life. I can make your life a living hell! I can force you to kill everything you have ever loved!" Sorain spoke up at that moment, "Too late! They are already gone! try another threat you piece of s**t." Sorain was not sure what he was saying, but the Wolves comment had hit a very touchy subject, one that filled him with rage. "Ahhh, so the pup bares its fangs. At least your not a p***y like your father!. He was always so scared of letting me out. His powers could have been godly, he would have had enough strength to conqure this world several times over. But he got all cushy with that b***h and lost his resolve for death." Sorain finnaly lost it, snapping in a way that he had never in his life. "******** you!! You stupid ******** mutt. You dont know s**t about my family! Ill ******** murder you if you ever insult her ag....aga......agaaaai....' His voice lumped in his throught as pure rage filled his veins. Sorain doubled over onto the ground feeling the demons chakra pouring into him. "Yess! That is the way!! Unleash my power with hatrid! Feed me your anger you filthy mutt! How your father ever had the gaul to taint my spirit with that b*****d Isonade!" Sorain could not take it, his eyes glazed red as his blood boiled over. His rage was only fueling the fire that the demon was so eager to start. His teeth began to grown inside his gums, causing him to cry out in pain, almost at the same time his muscles and finger nails doubled in size making him look more beast than man. "Thats it! Give in to your hatred. But do not hate me just yet. For some reason I will never know you still hold resentment to your village for what happened to your sham of a mother, and your b***h of a father. Do you know the truth yet boy! Do you know why you even exist!!! Ill ******** tell you!. Your parents were getting old and the village did not want to loose their precious weapons and so, they were given a mission to birth them two new Jinchuriki. The seal that was placed on them was designed to pass my power onto you! You were nothing but an assignment. You were nothing! Nothing! You were ******** nothing at all! Then, as soon as you were old enough to be conformed as the new host. They killed them, slaughtered them in your own home! How could you blame them? They ran their course. They were useless trash without us. That is why your family was taken from you, that is why you were held captive, that is why you have nothing!! Dont you want your revenge!!?" Sorain spoke, his voice was not his own, overlayed with the demonic chakra that was changing every part of him. "YES!!" The demon snarled, "You want them dead!? You want to ******** murder them and everything they stand for!!?" Sorain spoke again, "Yes!!!!" The demon howled in anticipation. "Break the seal pup, and I will give you my fangs. I will give you the power to see them suffer. Through there pain, you will be whole. It is the only way. You must make them cry out in agony. You will never be at peace until they all ******** die by your hands. " Sorain lifted his head. His face was now entirly primal, fangs beard he roared, "Give me your strength so that I may cover this entire world with Ice! I would see there rotting ******** corpses sealed for all eternity in the frost! The snow will be red with their blood. There veins will shatter inside their bodies. I will ******** show them who I am. They will never forget my name! There children will fear my face! Their childrends children will fear my name!!! The entire world will know the suffering that I experianced. Their crimes shall not go unpunished! The evils of this world will be purged. I WANT THEM DEAD." Sorain paused for a long moment.. "!! ALL OF THEM!!! " The chains on the boxes collapsed, allowing the box to break open fully to show a gigantic five tailed wolf sitting proudly. A crooked smile across its face. Around its neck was a single collar that was still chained to the floor. "When you are ready. Summon me, and I will give you the power you need to see it finished. Give your brother the pendant. Break him free of his illusions of peace. Make he see that hatred is what fuels the flame inside you. " The beast was not yet free, but it had been released to roam withen moderation. As Sorains vision ended, he realized that he was still on the ground, however now, there was changes about him. His fangs were still there, though his claws and muscles had diminished. Sorain stood to his feet and sought out his brother. The time for his awakening was upon them.
