Vasilisa Lynn Turn the lights down low and let the DJ go, until the speakers blow.
Staring at the water heal her skin, her ears picked up the sound of Yukimura's voice. Vasilisa looked up from her wounds and looked at her son. "You feel horrible?..." She paused to listened to what else he had to say. Her face went from curiosity to complete admiration and warming love. "Oh sweetie, don't feel that way. I'm happy with just you and me. Besides... your father and I aren't on speaking terms right now, so we can just let that rest for now." She paused again and pressed her lips. Her eyes fell somber and she looked down at her wounds again. "I should be the one feeling horrible. Your whole life you've lived without your father and all of a sudden you meet him in a battle... What kind of mother would let that happen." She sighed softly then looked up at Yukimura again when he offered to get wood and food. "Oh, okay hon. Be careful and hurry back." Vasilisa watched him run off then her attention returned to her wounds.
As the water healed her body, her mind drifted away. Her back pressed against the tree trunk and her golden hair fell beside her face in curtains. For her to receive wounds like this and retreat from the battle between her and Bankotsu, she must be weak herself. Even if she did have someone to look out for, Yukimura didn't slow her down in the least bit. Of course she'd worry about him at times, but he had both demon and demi-god in him, he was fine to tend to himself. Vasilisa thought about the promise she made to herself to kill Bankotsu for what he did. So much for that. Seems like she couldn't even keep promises to herself. Groaning softly, she pulled the healing water away from her wounds, deciding to let them get air to heal the rest of the way. She pulled her knees in to her chest and pressed her forehead to her knees. She closed her eyes and listened.
Vasilisa listened to her inner body work. Something about it sounded off... like something was missing. Then she heard it: a soft, slow, thud. It was her heart, why it was so slow, she didn't understand. She felt perfectly fine. Moving one of her hands over her chest and over her heart, she felt the slow thud again. Since she felt fine, she didn't think much of the fact that something may be wrong, instead she thought about what was causing it. Her being reincarnated? The jewel shard in her body? Her not being the Goddess of Wind like she was suppose to be? Rubbing her temples softly, Vasilisa shook it off and looked ahead. When she did so, she heard a loud rumble coming from the forest. Turning to look around the tree, she peered into the forest, curious again. It was silent now, and it took awhile before she heard another rumble. Tilting her weight she peered deeper into the forest. What was that?
After a short while, she looked up and heard Yukimura. "Oh wow... You've been busy." She smiled at all the wood and fish he brought back. "That's amazing." She watched him set up the fireplace and the fish to cook before she patted the ground next to her for him to sit. Vasilisa looked at her son with a puzzled expression, "How your father and I met?..." She thought about it then looked up at the sky. "Well..." She tried to recall the event way before her reincarnation which was fairly fuzzy. "Let's see.. We actually just kind of.. met. We were in Wonderland, in the maze and we both just found each other. We started talking.. then we started traveling together." She looked down at Yukimura then hesitated to continue. Debating with herself if she should tell him about all the people she's killed. When the base is low you work it nice and slow you let your body go.

Yukimura Yukimura watched as his mother had patted a seat beside her, which he took. He listened to his mother as she spoke about the time her and Bankotsu met. He was curious to what caused them to love one another as much as they did or even how they got together. The way Banktsu was, he seemed to be an uptight type of guy with nothing in his mind beside his brothers. Not even caring for them. "How did you fall for a guy like him ?.." He asked, a bit angered by his response and ye enchanted by his appearance. He seemed different then what he had expected and what he expected was an older man that seemed to be something of a player. His father wasn't that. He was young, short, and seemed very prideful. It was difficult to understand him at all. "Do you think we will see him again ?" He asked his mothers, feeling his mind fill up with millions of questions about his father.

Seeing that Yukimura wanted to know more, Vasilisa sucked up her pride as a mother and just finished the rest of the story. "Your father and I were young when we first met. We were naive and stupid, and I regret everything I did." She looked at Yukimura then her eyes fell to the dirt between her legs. "Your father and I killed many people... Innocent people... we were just blood lusting." She pressed her lips again, and her arms around her legs tightened. "The way your father is, is what caught my attention. He has a lot of pride, self-confidence, and belief. He's strong and even if you couldn't see it when you first met him. He cares for us deeply. I know it, and that's just what pulled me in... I just couldn't resist." Vasilisa's arms moved from around her legs and she rubbed her temples again. "After what I told him, I don't know if we'll see him again." She looked over at Yukimura and leaned against him. "Do you want to see your father again?" When the base is low you work it nice and slow you let your body go.

Yukimura Yukimura waced how difficult it was for her to tell him about her previous life before his up bringing. He felt like he was pushig her, but he really wanted answers and when he heard that his mother was a killer, he felt like everything he knew was a lie. "Your not a killer anymore, right ?" He asked her, knowing the answer, but wanting to hear her tell him. "I just want to see the father that you saw when you were together.." He told her as he stared at the ground, feeling a bit lonesome as well as incomplete.

Vasilisa looked up at her son, her eyes showing pity for herself, "Oh baby, of course not." She watched his face, he looked hurt. Maybe she shouldn't have told him about her past. It wasn't something to be proud of or okay with. It was horrible and she was a killer. Even if she didn't kill now and she wouldn't do it again. She would always have that problem since she did kill people. Moving her head slowly from left to right, she moved back against the tree trunk and looked at the fire. "You aren't proud of me. I don't want you to be. I understand how you must feel. Neither of your parents are people you should be proud of." Vasilisa sighed softly. "But, I want to make you proud of me, Yukimura. I want to be a better mother." When the base is low you work it nice and slow you let your body go.

Yukimura Yukimura listened to her, seeing her ashamed expression. He stared at the fire, listening to her as she was telling him that he shouldn't be proud of either of his parents and the truth was, he lost some respect for his own mother, but he regained some when he was thinking about her raising him. She didn't do harm to anyone and that made him realize how much she was trying to change. "The fish are finished, we should eat." He said with a smile towards her before picking up two, one to hand to her mother and one to eat himself. He then tilted the rest of the sticks a bit to keep them warm instant of cooking. "I may not be proud of your past, but I am happy to have a wonderful mother, such as you." He said as he gave her a gentle hug. "Let's eat." He smiled as he took a bit out of his fish, trying to keep from biting anywhere he mind find bones.

Vasilisa looked at her son then nodded. She accepted the fish from him and looked at it while she listened to him. She smiled softly and looked up at him, "You're such a wonderful son, even if I am raising you alone, I'm glad to be doing it." She smiled and hugged him back before nodding and taking a bite. She ate carefully, looking over ate Yukimura every now and then. "Look, you can bite her. And when you bite the fish here, slide off the meat and don't bite it off." She demonstrated for him the looked at him. "So you will be full." When the base is low you work it nice and slow you let your body go.

Yukimura While eating, he listened to his mother explaining to him how to eat to become fuller and saw her example. He felt as if he wasbing treated as a child, though secretly he enjoyed being treated as a child, he wanted her to know he is growing up and could take care of himself. "Mother, i'll be fine eating this the way I can." He told her with a bit of a stubborn will, though he fed off th fish as she had instructed him to, feeling happy to have a mother that cared for him. "Thank you, Mother." He muttered softly, suddenly feeling a bit tired which was seen by a large yawn and a gentle rub against to his drowsy eyes.

Vasilisa looked at her son then giggled softly at what he said, "Of course you can, but don't whine if you swallow a piece of a bone." She teased then watched him eat for a second before she went back to finishing her fish. She threw the bone away then looked back at Yukimura. She smiled warmly, "You're welcome honey." She giggled softly when he yawned then rubbed his eyes. "Aw, is my big boy sleepy?" She teased more then held her arms around him and rocked him softly. Vasilisa listened to her son then giggled, "Of course you are." She watched him fall asleep, continuing to wash him even after he was completely asleep. She hummed softly, feeling sleepy as well. She rubbed his sides softly and slowly drifted to sleep herself. Though she stayed in a light sleep, keeping her mind on the crackle of the fire for safety. Yukimura [Time Skip til Morning]
As the sun rose, it touched his face, causing him to open his eyes and stared at his current surroundings. He realized he was in his mother's arms, but didn't over react. He knew that she knew he was in her arms, so he gently pulled away, trying to give her the confort of resting a bit morewhile he wondered off to collect breakfast. He didn't really feel like fish again sense it was the last thing they had eaten from last night, so in the, he decided a change. While roaming the forest, he found some fruits. Mainly apples and berries, but none-the-less fruits in general. He picked up and returned to his mother, hoping to either greet her with a "Good Morning" Or remain silent until she were to awake before he greeted her.

Vasilisa continued to sleep. She felt the warmth of the sun then eventually she woke up. Her arms felt light and empty. She looked down in her arms and realized Yukimura was gone. Looking around, she stretched and yawn, "Yuki?.." She mumbled then looked at her wounds. They were healed now, a light pink scar remained that would fade over time. Vasilisa stood up and looked around. When she looked towards the forest, she found him. "Oh, you went get breakfast?" She smiled and looked at her son. "See, all I need is you." Yukimura Listened to her as she had asked him a rhetorical question, he smirkedthen sat next to her, listening to how she told him that all she needed was him. "Well, isn't that a good way to tell your son that you love them ?" He jokingly told her as he handed her some berries as well as several apples. He smiled at her then took a bite of his apple, staring at the sky as he was thinking about what he was going to do if and when he saw his father again. Banryu wanted revenge and if not revenge to be claimed by his father again, but either way, Banryu wanted to see Bankotsu. This was confusing. "So what are we going to do today, mother ?" He asked her, curious to what she had planned.

Vasilisa listened to her son then giggled, "Well I can also say, 'I love you'." She smiled and took the berries and apples from him. "Thank you." She said to him then rubbed the apple off on her dress before she took a bite of it. It was crispy and juicy. "Mm.. these are good apples.." She smiled and looked at Yukimura before her eyes looked up at the sky. "Hm.. Well we can train together, that's the reason we came here... Unless you want to go somewhere else?" She took another bite of her apple then looked at her son. When the base is low you work it nice and slow you let your body go.
