(XD alright, and herbology does, I think, it depends on wether there in the greenhouses or not XD Guess im assuming they arent. After all, every class has paperwork, I think. And did you mean... oh, nevermind, assuming there in the greenhouses XD)
Max glanced at Belatrix as she sighed and came over, before looking back towards the teacher. He didnt really mind her after all, probably just because they werent around each other much normally anyway. "Morning." He said quietly as she came over while Proffessor thorn rearranged the class to her new arrangment and Belatrix got over.

(Herbology doesn't really. xD They usually have paper homework, but I don't think they have paperwork in it xD)
Bellatrix glared at him slightly, before noting the earmuffs on her desk. She picked them up, examining them.
"All right, now that everyone is seated, let's get to work." said Professor Thorn, clapping her hands together. "Now as you'll all notice, I've given you all a pair of earmuffs. I'm sure you're wondering why. Well, today we'll be learning about Mandrakes. Who can tell me about them? Miss Kaching?" she pointed at a curly-haired girl who had raised her hand.
"The cry of a Mandrake is fatal to anyone who hears it." she said.
Professor Thorn nodded. "Presicley. Now these Mandrakes are only babies, so their crys won't kill you. Although they will knock you out for several hours. I'd like you all to take your earmuffs and put them safely on your ears. Make apsolutely sure no sound can be let in."
(Although they learned about Mandrakes in the 2nd year in the books and movie, I'ma say Ravenclaw and Slytherin learn about them now xD)

Max picked up the earmuffs in front of him, looking over them as he idly listened to the professor. Most of this he already knew, since he had already glanced over the books on the way here. Then he put the earmuffs on, making sure they were in place firmly enough that sound, in theory, wouldn't get in,

(Bellatrix is just mean like that. xD)
Bellatrix did as she was told, the earmuffs pushing her curly hair down a bit. To test that no sound came in, she picked up a knife from the table infront of them, then 'accidently' jabbed a kid next to her with it. He gave out a yelp of pain that nobody could hear. Smiling innocently, Bella returned the knife to it's original state on the table.
"Everyone's earmuffs on good and tight?" Bellatrix read from the way Professor Thorn's lips were moving. She nodded, along with the rest of the class.

(ah, I got left behind!)
"Hey Ze, can I borrow this?" Scarlett asked for a moment, pointing towards her brother's cutting knife. At his nod, she took it and quickly cut up the ingredient in her hand and gave him back the knife before adding the cut up pieces. Her potion turned a dark shade of pink and she quickly set to adding the last ingredient. Once that was in, the potion turned it's light pink color and she smiled, glad that while Potions wasn't her favorite subject, she did pretty well in it.
Ze had seen what Tabitha had done to Jake and he snickered before turning his attention to his potion quickly. He took his knife back once Scarlett was done with it and cut up what he needed, adding it at the right times. He knew he had about a C average in potions and wanted to try and do this potion right so he wouldn't fall this class.

(ah, sorry for holding his up so much!)
Max made sure his earmuffs were on tight, but then blinked when he heard a shout of pain slightly through them, glancing sideways as Bella put the knife back on the table, and adjusted the earmuffs a bit to make sure they would block all the sound. Then he nodded, just a tad behind the rest of the class.

Professor Thorn put what looked like a potted plant on the table. She pulled on the plant, but instead of roots, there was an ugly baby-type creature.
Bella stuck her tounge out in disgust at the Mandrake. Kitty put some unicorn horn dust into her potion, which was needed. Tabby did the same, adding just the right amount. Jake, meanwhile, was trying to fix his potion at the same time continue making it. "Damn that Tabitha." he muttered irritably.

Scarlett reread through the directions in the book to make sure she had done everything right. Once she was sure she did everything she had to do to make this potion perfect, she poured a sample in to a vile, corked it and brought it up to Professor Snape. She put it in a special holder and went back to her seat, cleaning up some of the mess on her work bench.
Ze watched his sister bring up her sample and smiled to himself; she was always a fast worker. He went back to his own work, not wanting to get in trouble with Professor Snape if he was caught doing something other than his work.

Max, being the semi-nerd he was, mostly from skimming the text book's on the way here, he recognised the little creature as a Mandrake. He didnt even bother checking his earmuffs, since he knew if they werent secure he would already be on the ground. The thing was kinda ugly, but he didnt think it was all that bad. at least it wasnt slimy. He hated slimy things. a lot.

Professor Thorn placed the Mandrake in a different pot, and covered it in dirt until the sound and creature was completely gone. She did a thumbs up, indicating it was safe to remove the earmuffs. Bellatrix did so, as did the rest.
Tabitha stood, taking a sample of her potion to the desk and placing it down. Then she returned to her desk, waiting for class to finish. Jake gave up on saving his potion, and put it on her desk before returning to his own. It wasn't the light pink described as the finished appearance in the book, but it was around magenta color.
Kitty put hers down next, smiling slightly to herself. She never did good in potions, so she thought she did quite well this time. Then she returned to her desk, happy as could be.

Max took off his earmuffs along with everyone else, glancing into the sky. A odd talent he had picked up, he could tell the time to within five minutes just from the position of the sun if he knew where he was. It seemed close to the end, and he looked back down to look back at professor Thorn.

Ze was the last one to bring up his sample, but this potion was the light pink it was supposed to be. He put it with the others and returned to the desk. When both twins were done making the potion, they started helping each other clean up and it was kinda scary how in sync they were, even for twins.

(OF course, they just left breakfast. xD)
Professor Snape picked up and examined all the potions, giving them grades. "For homework, you will explain the proper Class dismissed." she said, and the students began gathering there things, cleaning up, and piling out.
Tabitha cleaned up her workspace, putting her ingredients and books back into her bag. Then she slung it over her shoulder and helped Kitty, and glanced over at Ze and Scarlet. "Creepy the way they're like robots, huh?" Kitty nodded. "It is." she agreed, "Thanks for helping me, Tabby." She put her stuff away. Tabitha and Laura left. "Each of you will be taking mandrakes from their pots, and putting them into new ones. Cover them in dirt, making sure not to leave any openings. Or else their sound will get out, and it won't be pretty." Thorn explained.
Bella listened, but boredly. She hated getting her hands dirty. Jake walked over to the cauldron of love potion, slipping some into a vial before leaving. Nobody saw it, not even Selena.

(oh boy, big trouble XD.)
Scarlett and Ze finished cleaning and left the classroom as well. They talked on their way to their next class, wondering what they were learning today in Care of Magical Creatures. Ze hoped it was dragons. Scarlett giggled, shaking her head, "I don't think the staff would be that crazy to let us train with dragons." She said, smiling.
