Among all the chaos Sammy continued to jump from table to table. Sliding across the floor scrambling for cover as a hail of SOMETHING thundered it's way out the gun the robot now had. She cringed every time a round went off images of her friends being hurt popping into her head. She didn't have time to check if they got hit, thankfully she would realize they all made it through another attack un-scathed. "Why the frak does that Jacking robot have a gun!?"

Turning slowly she peeked over her newest barricade of junk. The robot was turning he wasn't looking! Leaping from cover Sammy took charge grabbing a busted pole from the floor as she ran. Was it a suicide charge?

No, suicide only counted if you were alive, she was already dead as a zombie.

Once she was in range she pulled back the shaft of metal before throwing it as hard as she could at he barrel of the gun hopping to jam the deadly device while causing damage.

Julian flew 'round in a silent arch, doing his absolute best to maneuver out of the way of whatever the robot was now shooting at them. Projectiles, now was that really fair?

Well, of course it was. Come to think of it, were were only a couple of them that were better of not throwing stuff, and despite his first impression, he had to give it to Sammy that she had a good aim. And she'd been sort of friendly to him when he'd first rolled up. She even smoothed some of his feathers back and yelled at one of the other animal-trapped students not to hit him with the snowball launcher.
And that was pretty nice of her. Even if he was a demon. Or rather, perhaps especially because he was a demon.

So , if the robot was going to shoot at them, he was going to do the next best thing.
He reeled around, diving down to the floor to pick up the largest hunk of debris he could find and carry and snatched it into his talons, not even pausing a wing-beat. He flew back up and simply dropped the object as he flew over the machine.

Oh, he could have grinned when he heard the metallic clang.

The moment they stepped through the yellow door, Petro found himself on edge. There was something in the air that made every muscle into his body tense, ready to spring into action. Was it the tension? The odd JOY-filled smell in the air? Well, it could have been all that but most likely it was the sight of the robot attacking the students.

The monster horse immediately positioned himself in front of Amrita, using his larger frame as a shield while he dropped his backpack to the ground. Now was a good time as any to use the weapon, wasn't it? He took aim, planted his feet on the ground, and fired. Despite the first time using the weapon, he managed to get in a decent amount of hits. And while he was expecting some recoil, he didn't expect to suddenly shift back into his human form at that exact moment. The backlash sent him back, nearly right into Amrita, he had not dug his heels deeper into the ground.

"Anak ng tipaklong... You okay?" he asked the undead as he snuck a peek over his shoulder.

Amrita stepped right into a battle, apparently.

Before she could react or do anything of use however, Petro's much larger form was in front of her. Wait, what? Gray eye wide in surprise, she tried to process what was happening; there was a battle, Petro put himself in front of her, he had used the launcher, and...wait! Did he just nearly crush her?! He did! Luckily he caught himself, that would have been terrible. Anak what? Wow, her ears must have been going.

"I...I'm fine!" She assured the Monster, looking around and grabbing a piece of pointy looking debris to chuck at the machine. As nice as it was for Petro to protect her, she had to try to help, too!

Julian soared around the robot just in time to see two new students walk in. He might have missed it, but for a brief second he saw Amrita behind the large boil that stepped in front of her to protect her.

But then he started firing snowballs and the owl flew to cover with a screech. Thankfully he wasn't in the air this time when he changed back into his human form, otherwise, he might have hurt himself or at the least made himself vulnerable again, like when he had been fighting the elephant toy.

"Get cover, you two!" he called out from behind his table.

Hazel darted out of the way, but sadly fell over in her moment and lost her chance to attack.

"Good to hear," Petro nodded to Amrita. He never would have forgiven himself if he ended up hurting her (like he had almost at the train crash site). He would have given the undead ghoul an apologetic grin had he not heard the warning call from another boil to take cover. That was a good idea and the monster horse wasted no time in searching for a place to do just that while making sure the robot didn't have a clear shot at Amrita. Even in his human form, the tikbalang could still act as her shield.

Great Jack! That thing was packing heat!? Tahki was swift and quick to go hide before anything hit her though. Thank Jack for lightning fast feline reflexes. The gryphon found her self next to Sammy.

"Kweeh~" A chirp snuck out as Sammy did some damage. If Sammy understood bird it would have been something along the lines of 'Great job'. Tahki took something in her beak and tossed it at the robot. The random object toss ended up being more effective then both times Tahki had tried to toss her self at the damn thing. Strange. Maybe that was the way to go.

Shehk nearly jumped at the sound of the snowball blaster, ears drooping as she pressed herself to the floor, looking around to see the offender to her panic. It was a sadly two legged Nukpana that greet her.. though the look on his face said that something painful had happened, the Pricolici's ears drooping back before she again debated going to him.

Instead, however, she barked anxiously and ducked under her table again... Though her body wasn't inclined to take Nukpana's lead and shift back as well. Which was probably safer for the Pricolici.

She did question how safe she was where she was, however, looking between the blockades before running to another to duck behind, nearly skidding to a halt even past it.

It seemed among all the chaos two more students had joined the fray. From above Julian seemed to be doing another hit and run and it seemed like he was able to do quite a bit even as an owl. Turning she waved to Tahki giving her a thumbs up, it sounded like a happy chirp, and the Gryphon looked to be okay so all was well still.

Retreating again from the robots reach and weapons she dove for cover landing behind a table beside a now flightless Julian. "You know, for an Owl, you do good in a fight." She offered the demon a hand. "Thanks, if it wasn't for you or uhhh." She glanced towards Tahki soaring above, "I don't know her, his name, but if you two hadn't shown up we'd probably be in bad shape. Shehk hasn't shifted back and Nuk's going to kill himself with that cannon."

As Israfel let go of Lucien to find a weapon to fight with, Lucien used this chance to pick something up off the ground and throw it at the machine in a 'stay away' sort of manner. Unfortunately, what he had picked up off the floor was a wooden toy and much to Lucien's dismay, it broke into pieces as it hit the machine, not even making a scratch on the machine's surface.

He looked around. He noticed a few people he knew, and more specifically he seen Amrita who was a little distance away. He hoped she was all right, fighting with those backwards legs and reversed hands couldn't be very safe at all.

The metal pole Sammy threw hit hard and true, covering the gun and causing a minuature explosion that sent the robot reeling back.

CLANG! Clickity clickity clack!

The metal toolbox Julian picked up made a rather fun clicking sound as it burst open, showering the glass dome with small metal tools. The elf inside was screeching and clutching at its ears. Getting hit with a snowball from Tro's bazooka didn't help, nor did the following jumping jack that Amrita thew. As did the mechanical teddy bear that Tahki followed up with.

"ARRRRGH! You've just ignited by anger!" The Yellow Santa Scout yelled, flipping a couple switches. More metalic compartments slid apart to reveal an even bigger pair of guns. These began to fire at the students, again the missiles unknown. Either way, the elf completely missed again.

On the far side of the room, the unchecked fire had spread to consume the entire eastern wall. Oh my.

It was hard for that unchecked fire to not garner Shehk's attention now, the Pricolici starting to realize that it was eating up everything and starting to massively panic. There were very few things that would make Shehk panic more than fire... then again, her fire-phobia was very much high up her list and now that she'd actually noticed that fire going of, she was ready to flip her s**t.

The Pricolici started to bark and pace.. though mostly bark, creating one hell of a noisy mess as she attempted to back herself over to the west wall, as far away from the burning and heat and djfakl;sfhas;kdfjsdfk;lashf;alskfjaslf.

BARK BARK SHRIEEEEKKKK!!!!

If someone had never heard Shehk's bark border on panic, they likely never would have heard the sound of shrieking from her. It was like the sound of pure agony. Comparable to the noise a dog would make if it was being slowly beaten to death by a group of kids with a baseball bat, if a comparison was needed.

She was shrieking and barking and out in the open, not caring if the yellowbot attacked her as long as she was away from that other wall.

Any chance the party had in her being a useful party member had just left.
