Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: Collapsed Tunnel at Ebon Fields (Tomb?) As the group would enter the tunnels, the Prospector walked back and forth, muttering under his breath and twiddling his thumbs and fingers nervously... Sefas looked back over, but figured it wasn't anything of consequence. However, immediately upon entering the collapsed tunnel, something was already strange... The Rocks around them were emitting a strange, soft, green glow, as was the dust beneath their feet... On top of the dust were scores of humanoid remains... Amidst the mess of parts were skulls, ribs, hips, femurs, bones of all sorts and an ever-hanging stench in the air of decay... Upon closer inspection, some of the bones were actually not completely decayed, some bits of rotting flesh clinging onto them for whatever shred of existence they had left. The worst part was yet to come... Footsteps in the dark, seeming to come not just from the ground, but from the walls and the ceiling... A mirthless cackle followed closely behind the steps, the creatures coming into plain view... Impish little things carrying swords, axes, maces, all sorts of weapons made of a shoddy material, little creatures with horns, claws, tails, and a rather dull, gray color to them complemented by an enormous, fiendish grin on each of their faces. They held out their weapons and lunged at Sefas first! "Demons in the Cavern!"

When you die, you are complete When you live you must compete Can the light outway the dark Can you go and leave your mark... Kiyoshi Jino Your Prayers are heard Ebon fields --------------------------- Demons in the cavern? Already? Kiyoshi was positive he hadn't been in the tunnel for even a minute before he heard those words. His eyes narrowed, as he looked at the impish creatures. It was confirmed. There were demons inside the cave, and that meant that Kiyoshi would have to defend himself. He raised his spear, and pointed it forward using his right hand. Then it hit him. He felt the the sharp stinging pain in his right shoulder, and the cruel reminder quickly got it's point across. Kiyoshi's right arm was useless until it was better, and being right handed, Kiyoshi's fighting ability was going to decrease by quite a bit. Transferring the spear to his left hand, Kiyoshi prepared for the next move.
The action taken by the demons forced movement out of Kiyoshi instantly. They lunged at Sefas. Though Kiyoshi had no doubt that Sefas could defend himself, Kiyoshi felt the need to jump in and help anyways. He ran over, and swung his spear so that it would block the attack of the first few demons. The problem was that the demons would not be stopped by just a spear being used by a man who had little experience with that particular handling of the weapon. He needed a more effective plan. Tossing the spear into the right hand again, Kiyoshi extended his left arm, and fired out a beam of light at the demons. he was holding a few of them off, but it would not last forever. ... If one day you reach you reach your goal Will you find that you are whole Go out now, complete your task An angel will do what you ask

So when I'm crying alone Yeah, when I'm cold as a dying stone
 Neysa
Neysa was surprised to learn about the contents in the vial. What a nasty little weapon..she thought as she studied it from a distance with her eyes. She couldn't help but wonder what else he has up his sleeve. She remembered seeing all of the vials under his robes. What did all of them do? If this vial could do that, did the rest of them have similar things? Sefas would really be a troublesome foe to go up against. Neysa quickly shook her head and focused on her surroundings.
She looked over at the man who was walking towards them. She listened closely to the conversation between the man. Neysa frowned when the man spoke about the demons in the tunnel. Eaten them alive? This isn't very good..She thought as she followed the group. The man who did come to them did seem a bit odd but she just shrugged it off. Everyone has their quirks and she didn't think that his really were harmful toward his. As she entered the tunnel chills went through her spine. She could smell the putrid smell of roting flesh. She peered through the darkness and shuddered at what she seen. The bones something..or some one. Where those the bones of the crew? What a horrible sight to come across. It really did make her feel sick to her stomach.
When Sefas called out her gaze shifted from the sight to the demons that were lunging at Sefas. Her eyes widened, she had never demons like them before. She placed her staff in front of her reading to attack or defend anything thing that came in her direction.

Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: Collapsed Tunnel at Ebon Fields (Tomb?) Sefas readied himself, but the attack Kiyoshi gave to the Demons seemed sufficient... In fact, it actually turned the Impish Creatures to dust. It was far too easy... Were these creatures really any match for any of them? What was the real danger in these caverns? "Heh... Well, looks like they weren't much to worry about!" Sefas chuckled lightly, interrupted suddenly by the sound of rattling beneath their feet. There was a sickening green glow on the ground as the bones began to clatter and assemble themselves together...
"...Oh crud." The bones started becoming a cobbled-together creature wielding a large axe ornately adorned with the skull of what looks like a horned Demon, not too different from the Shinobi's look. The jaws of all the skulls assembled onto the body rattled as the stench of death exuded from it, all of the bones giving off a sickly green glow.

"Shinobi" XXX XXX XXX XXX静かな戦士"the Silent Warrior" Narinthe gave one last look at the Prospector. Something wasn't right here. He let the group step in front of him again, so that he would be the closest to the prospector, in case he did anything. His back unwillingly turned to the fishy being, he walked silently with the group. The sounds of chains would tickle the ear drums of the others as he produced one of the Kusarigama from the hidden pocket. The smell of death and decay was not foreign to him. As they traveled upon the tunnel' ground, his tabi boots' soles were thin like moccasins, he could feel every single thing he stepped upon. From such, he was gathering just what these were, the remans of humans. As he began to become more in tune, the footsteps of others in the tunnel came to him. Alarmed, the Shinobi stepped into action, only to be blocked by Kiyoshi. Not to be out done, the man phased through him, only to duck as the light shot from his palm. The rattling under his feet was something he'd honestly expected. Necromancers had done something here, he felt the magics in the air. As the bones glowed green, they assembled themselves into something. The skull on the axe seemed to catch his interest for a moment. His horns were not wholly rare here, but perhaps that was a skull of another exile. He stood up, twirling the chain for a moment, and launched int toward the axe. The chain would wrap around the axe, before the weight at the end of the length was completely attached under the rest of the wrapped chain. Immediately, in attempted to yank it away, at the same time he advanced with his speed, and attempted to yank the head off with the curbed blade of the Kusarigama behind the skull atop the risen bones

Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: Collapsed Tunnel at Ebon Fields (Tomb?) Sefas stood back, allowing the Shinobi to handle the creature... He figured he should save his alchemical weapon for later... Something was controlling the creature and was giving it life and power, that much was certain... He was going to wait for that thing in question before acting. Besides, setting off something flammable in a cave wasn't exactly smart unless the others were far away from the cloud... The bone-creature rattled as its axe was suddenly taken away from it. When the Kusarigama wrapped around the bone-axe and snatched it away, it suddenly collapsed back into human remains... It appeared that none of the bone constructs could retain their form if they weren't attached to the creature. The monster rattled louder, reaching one of its many "Hands" down to one of the bones. A sickly glow of green light shown, assimilating the bone into the fingers of the creature, extending them into deadly claws. It'd rush after the Shinobi, poised to attack! ((Pardon the long wait, thought someone else would post. xD))

When you die, you are complete When you live you must compete Can the light outway the dark Can you go and leave your mark... Kiyoshi Jino Your Prayers are heard Ebon fields --------------------------- "That thing's not actually alive, is it?" Kiyoshi asked, as the creature assembled the remains into a deadly clawed hand. Stepping out from behind the masked man, Kiyoshi too a spot beside the great fighter. How was it that he was able to fight along side a man that had killed his sister the night before. It didn't really matter at the moment, they were being attacked. Kiyoshi passed the spear back into his left hand and swung at the beast, repelling the clawed hand only slightly. He was very weak with his left hand, and it would probably have been best for him to just stay out of the fight. For some reason though, Kiyoshi kept up trying to help people, even if they would probably do a better job keeping themselves safe than him.
Kiyoshi held his spear so that it was extended slightly and pointed towards the beast. It was for defensive purposes. It was a bit of a struggle, but Kiyoshi tried his best to raise his right arm, and was succesful. He opened his and , and fired another beam of light at the creature. The beam was aimed at the left shoulder, to be exact. That way, the creature would be less able to fight. Atleast, that was Kiyoshi's plan. Whether it would actually work was another story. ... Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: Collapsed Tunnel at Ebon Fields (Tomb?) The Creature would take a swing with its claws. Noctus then replied to Kiyoshi's query about the creature as hastily as he possibly could.
"Not in any conventional way, no... Those other Demons probably weren't either." He looked around rather suspiciously, the creature slashing over and over again.
"I-If I'd wager a guess... There's only one real living thing around here..." The creature rattled as it approached the party.
Kiyoshi's light beam seemed to do a lot more damage than expected. The part of the creature it hit suddenly came to a standstill, then resumed being separate remains as they fell off the body of the monster. It shambled their way as it hit more of the light and the remains fell off... The Light seems to be doing some serious damage.
Sefas pulled out one of the noxious vials... Some of the green gas started seeping out slowly, but not covering the cavern chamber. He threw the vial up onto the surface, then lit one of the matches across the gas cloud. When the match struck, the gas lit aflame, streaming in the path of the vial, going out the cavern and close to where the Prospector was standing... From the outside, a flash of orange light burst while the flames roared loudly. That Prospector either ran away or... Well... They'd be sure what exactly the Prospector was.

Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: Collapsed Tunnel at Ebon Fields (Tomb?) Status of Characters:Sefas- Alive Bone Fiend- Sustaining Heavy Damage Imps- Dead, Jim. Prospector- We'll Find Out... The Bone Fiend rattled its mouth open, almost as if it were howling in agony... Sefas saw the flames shoot up the cavern walls... He expected to hear the sound of the Prospector diving or running away, but strangely enough, that is not what happened... The Prospector, or so he appeared to be, called out to the others down below, and during that time, the Bone Fiend looked up and then bowed its head... "You know... It's quite rude to torch someone you barely know." When the Prospector showed himself, something rather shocking came into light... As they looked up at him, his body appeared to be singed in places, but most curiously... It was cracked in certain regions, like a porcelain cup. His body didn't seem like it had any seams, not even in the clothes... The shell of a body he possessed became more apparent now... Those learned in the Demons of this region knew that this was the calling card of a Djinn, a most horrifying Demon of a caliber unseen for centuries... Or to be more accurate, unnoticed for centuries. "Really, you had to go and make this boring... This whole thing was going to be a battle of epic proportions, and you have to go and spoil it by torching me..." Sefas stood back, dumbfounded as the creature held up his finger to the Alchemist... From his finger came what looked like a strange, black film that covered Sefas' body. When that happened, Sefas disappeared, but it'd later be revealed that he was actually still there... The "Prospector" held out his fingers to the Bone Fiend, which was immediately disassembled, glowing in a violet light, each individual bone shooting into the obscurity where Sefas once stood... A disgusting, piercing and squirting sound burst from inside the darkness, the Alchemist's cries of agony following shortly after. "A lonely, painful death alone in the Darkness... That's what awaits all in the Tomb of the Exiled... And you shall be no exception." He held out his hand and prepared to strike against the others... "Fade with agony."

 ☀❛❛The Shadow Creature❜❜☀
◤』
『◢ The Shadow Creature prowled down the dark caverns of the Tomb of the Exiled, using its long fingers to find grubs or other bugs in the walls or in holes in the ground. It was a continuous look for food in here. There was never any big game. None big enough to sustain The Shadow Creature's immense appetite. It made a soft growl sound, that sounded much like the growl of a stomach, in delight as if found a fat grub. It Held the squirming bug to it's mouth and began to suck the blood out of it. In no time the Grub was dried out and The Shadow Creature moved on, looking for more. It blended perfectly with the darkness of The Tomb. Only The change it made when It moved from one spot to another could be seen. It detected sound coming form somewhere in the cave. Sound meant food, and This creature wasn't going to pass up a meal. It began to make its way swiftly to the noise, stopping periodically when it though it smelled food. The Shadow Creature's long limbs carried it fast down the seemingly endless caverns. On its way it found a few more Grubs and other strange bugs that lurk in the Tomb of The Exiled. So far it was a good days hunt. Or night. The creature could never tell, and even if it could it wouldn't care. It had no eyes, and therefore needed no light. It used the other senses, such as touch and smell, to make its way down through the caves. It wasn't long before it arrived at the noise.
The Shadow Creature didn't approach any further, and hid itself, stretching between the many cracks and crevasses in the walls. It could smell a strong scent that could never have been mistaken. Blood. It made a low growling sound similar to the other one. It was the usual sound of delight. The only thing this beast wanted out of this fight was the people. They would feed the creature for weeks. Never could The Shadow Creature pass up a chance as this. It could smell fresh blood in the air, though danger lurked beyond the hiding spots it had. It would move no further until the fight simmered down. The Creature would collect the casualties as it's prey. It could sense the power in this fight, and the sense of power that radiated from this fight gave The Shadow Creature one of its primary instincts to flight, or run away.
The Shadow Creature didn't have the mind capacity to think, but if it did it would have noticed how the things living in this Tomb seemingly never got attacked. At least The Creature didn't. It might have been the shadows and darkness protecting it, or it could be that it was not worth the time of the demons. The Shadow Creature possessed no known great power inside of it, so what use was it to waist energy. It wasn't hostile, and wouldn't fight, only to protect itself. And most of the time if it were ever attacked it would go berserk. First it screeched, a sound even worse than nails on glass, and if you lasted long enough in that screech and didn't run away, it would circle you. If you didn't get out quick it would become agitated and increasingly irate. The next move was to make you dinner. The Shadow Creature slowly poked its head out to sniff the air. The smell of the fresh blood was alluring. It mad a soft, high-pitched whining sound, wanting to devour the fresh blood.

Location: The Tomb of the Exiled
Status of Characters: Sefas- Sustaining Heavy Damage; Hidden Bone Fiend- Dead, Imps- Dead. Prospector Djinn-Alive.
The Djinn then noticed something lurking about in the caverns... Was it that blasted Shadow Creature? Measly pest... Always appears at the least opportune time. Just when it was about to finish off the meager opposition he had there! Although, this could prove to be to his advantage... The Creature could wipe out the little insects in little more than a heartbeat... It just needed something to get started.
"Feh. You aren't even worth the trouble..." The Djinn held up its hand and cast a spell on the blot of darkness where Sefas was standing. Though nothing seemed to happen to the blot, blood started splattering outward, coating everyone else in the room. The Djinn grinned widely, hoping that this would attract the Shadow Creature's attention and slaughter everyone else in the tomb... It stepped back, covering itself in a veil of darkness, then leaving the veil as what looked like a Succubus, a sultry, curvy woman with large, leathery bat-wings on her back. It blew a kiss at the party and smirked widely.
"So Long, little bugs... 'twas fun toying with you, but I think I'll leave the final blow to another of the Tomb's residents." It spread its wings and flew out the hole where the cavern collapsed... Some pieces of it fell off, like the ceramic fragments of a broken pot, but it seemed to maintain its form rather well, despite the cracks, though something told those in the cavern that it didn't want to stick around for the Shadow Creature... Either because it got bored or because it didn't want its corporeal form damaged any further... Either way, it'd be leaving the party soaked in blood and at the mercy of the Creature.
The blot of Darkness disappeared off Sefas after a few moments, revealing a bloodied, battered and wounded Alchemist, barely breathing out a moan of pain as blood oozed from his body... Thankfully though, all of his vials appeared intact, particularly some of the healing potions... Someone who knew how to heal would be able to use them with a degree of expertise.

"Shinobi" XXX XXX XXX XXX静かな戦士"the Silent Warrior" Narinthe watched the ground carefully as the construct fell to it. Soon enough, as he'd come to expect, certain bones from it began to glow with a green hue, before the assembled a limb: A hand, more like a clawed appendage. It rushed at him. The shinobi quickly put his chains out, as if to get the bones caught in the links and twist them into breaking apart, but Kioyshi stepped in. After he'd done so, Shinobi looked at him, ad bowed his head low, as a thank you. His head turned to look at Sefas and Neysa. He watched Sefas fiddle with the gas he spoke of earlier, his eye narrowing as if to ponder, as if to be upon his guard for any sort of accident, or enemy he'd missed. Suddenly, it hit him: The Prospector. He wasn't the only one who felt him to be off? With slight relief, he held back a sigh, only to feel his surge of relief fade upon seeing the flames in the distance engulf the Prospector. The fiend's mouth opened, as if to howl. Shinobi stepped next to the others, his sickle's chains rattling metallically in the echoing cavern. His eye narrowed as the form became clear to him: A Djinn?! He felt himself hold back a more demonic snarl, though his distaste was evident as his brow furrowed, his eye flared with an spite-driven flame. His head shot to look upon sefas the moment the creature held it's finger up. Sefas suddenly faded from his sight. Before he reached out to test whether it was a stealthing spell or a teleportation spell, the bone fiend was disassembled. His eye darted to it, his pupil growing with alarm. He jolted away, only to realize what he'd just done: He should have taken some of that for Sefas..! Guilt consumed the man as the screams echoed in the cavern, howling in his ears. The Djinn was moving. Shinobi was preparing everything, all he had to defeat the thing, before it seemed the Djinn itself noticed something.. else. Shinobi spent no time to get distracted, only a lightning fast shift of his eye: A shadowed figure. Another demon that was not under his wing. It was not a good situation. Blood splattered upon the man, he held his hand up and looked at it upon his black glove. The Djinn shifted again, a female form. As soon as he flew away, the Shinobi quickly averted, kneeling next to Sefas, facing the location of the Shadowed beast. It appeared to be what they called the Shadow of the Tome. It was said the beast was capable of good, or bad. His eye would dance between it and the vials, as if to wonder which was for what purpose. Frustration kicked in, before he took his own medicinal herbs from his pouch, and began to rub them into the wounds softly. His Kusarigama were upon the cave floor, the chain curling around him for quick combat access: That beast was going to attack, he had no time to waste were it to succumb to the scents of blood, the cries of mortals, and another demon.

When you die, you are complete When you live you must compete Can the light outway the dark Can you go and leave your mark... Kiyoshi Jino Your Prayers are heard Ebon fields --------------------------- Everything was happening so fast. Sefas had attacked the creature with his flammable gas, and then ended up setting the prospector ablaze aswell. Things were seeming to grow in severity as the prospector proved to be the real threat. What was that thing. His body was cracked in places, leaving Kiyoshi confused. He had never seen something like that before in his life, or heard of anything like that either. Kiyoshi was worried, wondering what it was capable of.
Things started to go very wrong. The prospector, or whatever he truly was, had disassembled the bone creature, and used it as a weapon against Sefas, who had been hidden by some spell. Kiyoshi could do nothing as Sefas was attacked by the odd being. Then matters began to become even worse. Kiyoshi found himself comvered in blood, though it wasn't his. It belonged to the alchemist. All Kiyoshi could hear were the screams of the poor man, even after they had faded. Kiyoshi was scared of what would happen next.
The next thing noticed by Kiyoshi was the change in appearance by the prospector. He had changed into a woman of some sort, and left, revealing Sefas' injured body. Kiyoshi began to run over, but the masked man had it handled. The real thing to worry about was that other resident the prospector spoke of. What could it be? Kiyoshi wondered what to do. He ran over and stood by Sefas and the masked man. "I'll stand here, and try and act as cover." He said, ready to defend the others. ... Sefas Minos Alchemist Location: The Tomb of the Exiled Sefas gasped for breath after being let out of the Dark cloud. He couldn't move, the bones impaled in his body in his joints... He really couldn't move and was, essentially, a sitting duck until Kiyoshi stood over to defend him. Narinthe began to get some healing herbs to help him recover... Sefas smiled lightly and kept trying to breathe... He didn't hear anything about the resident in the cavern... Though he had bigger things to worry about.

So when I'm crying alone Yeah, when I'm cold as a dying stone
 Neysa
Neysa was confused by the motions of what was going on around her. She wasn't a fight, she never had been. She had never truly been in a battle like this before. It all swirled in her mind and for the first time in a long time she was too terrified to move as the others fought. She was taught the basics to defend herself if she needed to but that was only against other people not creatures like these. Instead of running forth and getting in the way of others she stayed back where she could watch helplessly. All the while she felt guilt for her uselessness. The guilt only grew as she watched Sefas getting injured by the bone creature pained her. She looked down at the ground and soon it was over.
Though the mass confusion in her mind it suddenly dawned on her that she could be some use. She shut her eyes tightly and for a moment. Stupid stupid stupid! she thought then opened them and ran over to the group. When she heard the whining of the Creature her body froze again. No no no. Don't let it get to you. She told herself.
As she approached the wounded Alchemist she could see all of the blood that he had loss. She knelt down next to him then managed to get out the words. "Let me help please." Her words were soft and shaking. If anything she could be useful in this matter. She silently cursing herself in her inexperience in the whole situation. She wasn't expecting anything like this. Not one bit and she dared hold some confidence in this. It angered her. She could help his wounds heal faster though they wouldn't leave the skin flawless. She knew her healing arts well but she didn't get the chance to complete her training in them.
She worked on the wounds that Shinobi had not reached yet. She set her staff down on the ground and whispered very softly in an odd language. Her hands started to produce a soft white glow that held a warmth to it and she ran her trembling hands gently over the wounds that she was working on. The left behind deep scars but with time they should grow lighter. At least she hoped they would.
As she worked she didn't speak a word nor did she look at either one of the members of the group. Her own shame sinking in to her heart took any words that she could form.
((alright I'll be better about this. If not please throw a few rocks at me. I deserve it. I really really do. ))
