* * * Max blinked then listened rather intently to what the boy was saying. A confused look crossed his face. He had no idea what any of those were... as soon as he heard something about food his ears perked up for a moment before he shrugged at the man's apology," It's alright. It's all in the past and now I don't have any real links to the past anyway." He said but got extremely curious soon enough. His tail swished as he watched the man sit, that made him feel... a bit better. Tilting his head he spoke again," I don't know any of those... except light bulbs." He said and pointed up to the lights before his hand lowered.
Hearing the man's story he shut his eyes and grumbled," That's stupid... blaming someone for something that wasn't their fault... sounds unfair." he said, but a bit more to himself. The guards knew better to bother him while talking with a master. One guard, though, had the guts to come up. He stopped near the neko's cage and smirked," Hey there Maxwell. What are you doing laying down?" He asked and Max lowered his tail before the man could get any ideas," Buzz off. I don't want to talk to you." He growled. Glaring back at the man, who stumbled back. Max looked back to Kivuli as he crossed his arms and the man walked off, a bit surprised at the boy's reaction.
He heard the man's guess. A slight smile," Then you're right. I'm a panther." his smile faded again as he laid his head down and his mouth was covered by his arms, his voice barely heard," I don't care. Even after being kicked out of my pack and humans took me here... I won't let anyone control me at all. No matter what they say to me to get to to soften up. Unless they have my complete trust that they won't try to control me then I won't do anything." He said and the owner sighed. That neko was asking to stay here by saying that to a master. Max then blinked up at him," As long as the one who takes me out of here doesn't tell me to do this, and do that and they respect me... I might just give them some trust." He said, his voice now was rather cold and he meant it. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

My world is cold.....  Kivuli ShirotoshiXXXXXXBusiness OwnerKivuli found himself liking to talk to the feline. Not often had he found anyone whom could capture his attention for this long of time. It was interesting that the feline didn't know what these things were. He would have to show him, his mind caught on to that. Was he seriously thinking of getting this panther out of here? Yes, yes he was and he quickly turned cold again when another guard approached. What was it with these people, do they enjoy being disruptive and very rude? Kivuli was about to say something when the feline beat him to it. It seemed the feline didn't like the guards or the man whom ran this shop. He listened to the exchange in words and found himself wanting to chuckle when the guard stumbled back like a fool who'd just been slapped for his misfortune. When the guard left did he begin to talk again with a more relaxed posture.
"What is fair or unfair didn't matter to that man. He believed if he was miserable he had to make everyone else around him the same way. Some more then others," He sighed. When he heard the feline speak of being controlled Kivuli grimaced, "trying to control people is horrendous. Control is for those whom are to weak to seek a better solution. I won't and refuse to ever control a single soul. If they wish to leave then they can, if they wish to hate and loath me they can, if they wish what ever their soul desires I not and shall not stay the had that wishes to see or do more." Kivuli seemed vehement about such a subject, he abhorred controlling people whom did not want to be controlled. "The people I respect try to make it in a world were everything seems to be against them...." He trailed off he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "I hate people whom control for advantage. I lived a life of that kind of thing and I wish to never force it upon others." He didn't know what else to say and so fell silent, though he had to be honest, he wasn't expecting the feline to express he would rather stay there in this wretched place. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

* * * Shawn sighed softly," Those rules will not apply once you're in our house. In our house you are just as important as humans and will be treated as such." He said and then upon hearing how they "became defiant" he smiled but shook his head," Defending a sibling does not count as being defiant. It's being a loyal sibling." He told Vayne and Leon gave a soft nod but he glanced back to the managed, who had moved on to watch another half-breed. He looked back to the twins and bit his lip," If people come over they'll know to be nice to you..." He told them, his voice low though, as if he knew that no one would come over to visit him personally. Shawn looked at his brother," Oh hey, when is your friend coming over? You know, the red head?" He asked and Leon blinked, that's right... his friend was coming over to study for colleage with him," That's next monday." He said and Shawn nodded looking back to the boys in front of him. He took notice of Vayne's flinch before clapping his hands together once to get attention, or... as if. Leon smiled softly." Are you two ready to go...?" He asked then waited to see if the twin boys were ready to come. * * *

People are cruel.....  Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysVayne's flicked slightly at Shawn's words. Vayne knew he would have to learn to trust all over again. Duo on the other hand was accepting of anything that was given to him in the long run. Duo slipped passed Vayne and tugged on Shawn's sleeve slightly, a little nervous in doing so. He nodded slightly showing that he wanted to leave and now. He hated being in this place and some of the stares from the guards made him edgy. Vayne watched his brother and sighed softly. His brother deserved better then this place and he knew it would be a long road ahead for the both of them. He oddly wondered if the other two would eventually understand what Duo was trying to say at some points. Then another thought entered is mind. What if he eventually talked again? He knew that it was a long shot, but putting him into some better atmosphere might work.
"Thank you.....I wish I could trust those words like my brother does, but I regret telling you my trust will be hard to earn. Having people like them," He jerked his head in the guards direction, "Around me most of my life has made me hard to trust others with their words." He looked away his features visibly tired and slightly pained as he nodded, "Yes I'm ready to leave this place......" He sighed softly his body swayed a bit, but he shook his head and steadied himself. Duo turned to Vayne wide eyed, placing his hands on his brother's arm in worry, Vayne only smiled to him, "I'm fine Duo.....just a bit more tired then I thought I was."
What he didn't know was that the meal they had all be given had some meds in it to make him sleepy. Since it had no scent Duo hadn't picked up on it when he was helping his brother eat earlier when he was chained up to the cage. Thus the reason why the guards were so edgy now that he was out of his cage. In their case having Vayne asleep would have been an excellent way to get to Duo when the boy was passed out, and who knew what would have happened to Vayne when he was knocked out from the meds. Vayne yawned widely and he rubbed at his visible eye. It had taken a while for it to kick in, but now it was taking all his strength to stay awake. His head nodded slightly as he felt Duo grab him. Had he almost fallen over? Vayne placed a hand on his forehead and he glared at the guards. His teeth clenched in anger as he realized what was going on and he felt stupid for not realizing it before the blatant attack on him that morning.
"You...are sick people," He growled at them, but he had to steady himself. "I need to sit down...." He trailed off feeling even more tired as time went by. Duo blinked over to Shawn then looked to his brother, trying to tell him something was wrong. Duo's tail flicked as he noted some of the guards coming to investigate, and since Duo's brother would be unable to say or do anything he found himself reeling and letting out a hiss. He could make wind like noises like a cat, but talking was out of his league right now. Though his hiss only made the men laugh at him for they thought it was cute and not a warning of harm. Duo wasn't a physical person and wasn't strong enough to fend people off, but he would try. He looked to Shawn and Leon and hoped they caught on that he wanted to leave and preferably now. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max swished his tail as he watched him. Hearing his statement about things being fair and unfair," No one who is like that cares. They're all... jerks." He muttered, restraining a curse word as he looked up and raised a eye brow. Would this man be someone that he could... no. Not just yet. He respected people like that? Not like usual masters who came in, interesting. Raising his legs up again he shut his eyes," I appreciate someone thinking like that. It's not everyday that someone shows up like that." He said simply, trying to keep all emotion out of his voice. It actually worked, he then rolled onto his side, his eyes still shut. " I don't like the thought of your father. I'm glad that... he's not around anymore." He said simply and didn't seem to notice that his statement might hurt someone's feelings. Opening one eye he looked at the master again and his ear flicked. Was he really warming up to him? He had to admit he was... if he really thought that controlling others was bad... he might give the man a chance. Mess it up though and he'd go back to normal. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Leon's eyes widened as he saw Vayne falling over. He looked quickly to his brother who took notice of the guards coming over. His eyes narrowed and he took a slight step, stopping the guards in their tracks," Don't worry. I can take care of them." He said rather coldly and turned to Vayne and Duo. He waved Duo to the side for a moment before he slid his arms under Vayne's legs, making sure he didn't hurt him, and picked him up," Leon. Watch Duo on the way home. Make sure none of these guards get a hand on him." He said, he was rather serious, which startled his brother but Leon nodded," Duo come here." He said and held a hand out to him. Shawn glanced back over his shoulder, ignoring any complaints Vayne had, if he was drugged this was better than anything. He narrowed his eyes at the guards," And if I find out any of you did anything to either of them you'll regret it. I don't care if you're a guard or anything here." He said, although it came out as a growl. Leon shivered a little then looked at Duo," We're leaving now Duo, big brother is mad and that means we need to get out." He said and tried to make sure the mute neko was away from all guards as his brother walked up to the front door as Leon shifted slightly and looked at Duo, waiting for him to take his hand or arm... or something. He didn't like the looks the guards were giving either set of siblings. He, too, glared coldly at them with his good eye and then looked at Duo with a softer glance. * * *

My world is cold..... Kivuli ShirotoshiXXXXXXBusiness OwnerKivuli found his mind wandering a bit as he listened. A lot of people were glad that his old man had finally bit the dust. So he didn't think anything of the comment that was made. In some part of his mind he was extremely glad his father was no longer there to torment him, but to a sense he wished his father could have been more then what he had been. He wished that his father had cared or even tried to love him. Yet it never happened and to a point he did blame himself for all that had happened. His father having often yelled at his and called him harsh words, let alone often smacked him around a few times. He some how pulled through it. Having the notion in his head that he was destined for the life he lived. It was fated that he would be alone, and he had been for the longest time. Even when there was a room full of people he still felt so entirely alone. He took in the thoughts of what Max had said before he sighed slightly.
"Yes a lot believe as you do. They hated my father for all he was worth," He paused a bit on the other part, "Not many people say such things as I?" He was curious. He wondered if he was the only one whom thought the way he did. He made up his mind then, "Would you like to come with me? No rules and no strings attached." He spoke softly he liked Max and he had to admit he was the first to have a conversation with him like this. Not many people seemed to care enough to even try to listen or learn more, yet Max had done just that, whether he was aware of it though was another story. Kivuli found it interesting though and he wanted to get to know the neko a little bit better. He knew it would take time, but he could wait to see where this would them. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysVayne suddenly felt his feet disappear beneath him he flinched slightly but, he was startled to awareness for a brief moment, "What the.....hay put me down...." He shoved at Shawn's chest weakly. He gave up after a moment noting the other male was ignoring his voice of protests. He glanced over to Duo whom was blinking dumbfounded in surprise. "I....I can walk......ugh....My heads spinnin," He said after a moment of struggles again, but stopped do to his weakness. His ears went back and he found himself getting deeply sleepy again, the warmth of the other male not helping it none. Being a feline they tend to get sleepier when their warm. Considering Shawn was warm made that feeling of being tired come full force with the help of the meds. "So....sleepy," He finally zonked out and fell into a deep sleep.
Duo looked to Shawn then to the guards and then to Leon when he started to speak softly to him. He blinked down at the boys hand before he shyly took said hand that was offered to him. Duo hung close to Leon his ears going back as he watched the guards the two leaving the shop as fast as they could. His tail swayed slowly his silver eyes instantly looking around the further they got come the cage him and his brother had been in. Duo was happy they were leaving and he was releaved as well. Duo had noticed just how close they could have been to having had something terrible done to both of them. Duo wasn't stupid he knew how his brother got when people got close to him when they were awake. Having Vayne asleep was the easiest way to get to them and that scared Duo to think about it. He was happy that Shawn and Leon had come to them in time. Or whom knows what would have happened if they hadn't. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max ran his hand through his hair and pushed it onto the scar, which made him flinch a little bit but he recovered quickly, blinking he looked up at the man and his tail swished again," No rules... and no strings attached..." He said to himself, musing over the idea. Yes, he was curious about this man but... to be bought!? Oh how he still loathed that idea... although... it would be better than this cage... that's for sure. Biting his lip he played with the picture he drew before he ended up wiping it away. He might as well take him up on that offer. With a nod he looked up at Kivuli and spoke up again," Sure. But I'm holding you to the 'no rules and no strings attached' thing." He said and pulled himself up so he was sitting. He dusted his hand off and his ears lowered a bit," Right. Not many people say that controlling others is bad and they won't do it. Like with me... well especially with me." He said and leaned on the bars as he shut his eyes. Thinking of food again his stomach growled but he placed his hand on it and ignored it. He was used to starving, for his masters never fed him the right kind of food. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Shawn, as usual, had been ignoring Vayne's complaints but when he fell into a deep sleep he smiled, he was cute when he was asleep. Looking to his brother, who had Duo's hand, he nodded and he walked out to the car. Opening the back door with one hand and Vayne's head on his shoulder he sat the boy in the car, made sure he was safe, and shut the door. Looking back he noticed the guards watching the younger two leaving. They wouldn't lay another hand on them if he had anything to say about it. As he waited for his brother he got in the driver's seat and started the car. He leaned back and glanced over his shoulder to the sleeping Vayne, as long as he was with him he wouldn't have to worry about anything, he promised himself that.
Leon blinked then smiled shyly at Duo," Don't worry... I won't let them hurt you anymore." He said and walked out of the shop with the boy. He glanced back, the neko the other master was presently speaking to looked as if he was getting out too. Good, they didn't have anyone left to mess with... He looked back to Duo and smiled as he opened the front door of the shop and he blinked, it was bright. He helped Duo outside and went around the side of the car, very carefully, as he opened the back door for Duo. He let go of his hand and when the boy was in he made sure he, too, was buckled. He got in the passenger seat after shutting Duo's door and looked at his brother," We're ready." He said and Shawn nodded, closing his own door and getting ready to go.
The car pulled away from the curb as he drove off. He drove for a while before they came to a large gate, he drove by it but someone was watching out a window. Leon waved to the man, who waved back, and then looked at Duo," Is your brother still asleep?" He asked, looking at Vayne. The neko might be a bit aggrivated that Shawn picked him up but it was for the best. He smiled at Duo again, looking back to the front but still able to face the brothers as they pulled up to the house. Shawn stopped and parked the car before he yawned," Hey Leon. I'll get Vayne in... and you take care of Duo while his brother is asleep then they can stick together, we can't have Vayne hurting himself while on the drug." He said and Leon nodded as he unbuckled and got out of the car. Shawn got out as well and picked Vayne up again as he went inside to a spare room and laid him on the bed. Leon had opened Duo's door," Here...." He said to himself as he popped the belt off and let the neko get out himself before he shut the door. * * *

His piercing staying on the guard making him fidget with worry about what the man might say. He was relieved however when the man asked for the key to the cage. Kivuli never once saying the word buy. He hated to think that way so he was more agile in choosing his words as to make it more like he was freeing him. Which he was to a point and he always had his mind wandering back to the word buy, which made him grimace at the thought of it. Sighing he handed over a card to the manager and the transaction was made. With out another word to the manager or the guard he walked back to the cage as it was opened. He was unsure as to what to say or do now that Max was free to come with him or do as he pleased.
As a kind gesture he held out his hand to help the neko out of the cage he was in once the chains had been unclasped and he was free. "Shall we leave this wretched place, Max?" He asked softly to the neko. His features only soft to Max and Max alone. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

People are cruel..... Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysDuo looked out the door to the shop and noted the older boy putting Vayne into their 'car' as they had called it, if he remembered right. Duo knew the two were very polite people and cared for them more so than anyone they used to know before hand. His attention was drawn to the men laughing at what had just happened. Duo knew something was up, but he didn't know what it was. He shook his head and ignored it. The pill was just a sleeping pill wasn't it? What else could it have been? Duo thought to himself and pushed the thought aside for later. He glanced over to note that the panther named Max was finally getting out to, he was happy for him. When Leon spoke Duo smiled softly, he knew they wouldn't let harm come to them and he accepted the fact that he and his brother would be with these two brothers now. When they left the building he notice that Shawn had been watching to make sure nothing happened obviously hyper aware that the gaurds had been watching them.
Duo was ushered to the back seat of the car and sat down, before Leon had helpped buckle him in. His curiosity getting the better of him as he sniffed at the air in the car. Taking in all new scents he'd not smelled before. The only scents he had known were that shop and the dark and dank ally ways him and his brother used to roam in back when they were strays. They had never truly had a decent meal since the time of their births. So it had been nothing new to them when they barely ate even when they were turned into what they are now. He looked out the window when the two males spoke to each other and started to drive off from the shop. He was so curious that he hadn't been paying any attention to his sleeping brother until Leon had said something. Which had drawn his full attention back to Vayne. Vayne was breathing a bit unevenly, a slight flush had taken to his skin. Duo nodded to the fact his brother was asleep and was unaware of the man in a window that had waved. He cuddled close to his brother until the car stopped and the two brothers had gotten out.
Duo watched as the two got out and did what they discussed before slipping out of their seats to get to them. Duo looked to Leon when he came to the door and opened it up before reaching over and unbuckling him from the seat. He knew he would eventually have to learn to do that on his own without help, but for now he would just bare with Leon doing that for the time being. He blinked up at the boy before he got out of the car. His silver neko eyes looking at anything and everything in sight. An almost awe like look to his searchings, as his tail swayed back and forth with his ears twitching to the sounds around him. The sun slightly peeking through the clouds shimmered slightly of his silvery-white hair. Duo and Vayne didn't look like twins, but to the human race they were considered to be mirror twins. Opposite to each other in a lot more ways the one. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max waited and his legs were crossed as he played with his tail. The same guard came up and pulled his ear before walking off with a smirk. The boy ignored it. He looked up at Kivuli as he came back. He blinked and crawled up to the cage door, which was now open, and scowled slightly. The guards were watching him. His charms jingled and he stared at the hand offered. His tail flicked, no, no help. He tried to stand on his own, but he felt his knee pop. Damn it! He groaned slightly then took the man's hand and stood. He leaned on the cage then, his hand back, and felt his knee. It was either broken or... it was broken. He could feel it. How in the hell did that happen? He rolled his eyes then looked at the man," My knee's broken." He said simply as he looked at the man who just got him out of the cage and then waited for his reaction. He frowned. Damn guards must have done something while he was asleep, biting his lip he held back a cry. It hurt like all hell broke loose but he was strong and wouldn't cry. As long as he didn't put pressure on it he'd be fine. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Shawn had gone back down to the kitchen after he put Vayne in the bed leaving leon and Duo outside. Leon blinked and smiled as the neko looked around and explored with his eyes. After making sure the door was locked he shut it and smiled at Duo," Are you ready to go inside or do you want to explore out here?" He asked, knowing the other boy couldn't talk back but he'd do his best to understand him. Leon shifted slightly as he messed with his eye cover and he pulled it up as he shut his eyes and ran a finger over his eye. A long scar ran down his eye as if it grew that way, or someone ran a piece of glass down his eye very hard. He shivered at the thought and pulled it back down, pretending nothing happened but he was shaken a little.
Shawn was making something for the neko twins to eat for he knew the guards there did not feed them. He finally came up with something to make and procceded to make the pancakes. He ended up finishing and kept them heating before he went out and turned on the TV to wait for Vayne to wake up. Here they were safe and if they wanted to share a room so be it, as long as those guards didn't come back they should be okay. Even if that did happen he could fight them, maybe not Leon or Duo but he could watch Leon and Vayne could protect Duo, it would work out. And of course, that's only a if plan. * * *

Kivuli ShirotoshiXXXXXXBusiness OwnerKivuli watched the feline and was going to pull his hand back, due to the fact it looked as though the neko didn't want help, but it surprised him when the neko did take his hand. What surprised him even more was when the neko came out of the cage, stood and the poked slash prodded at his own knee. It was then that Kivuli caught on that the neko was injured and possibly had a broken bone in his knee. He listened to the neko's words before his cold eye landed on the guard. His features were hard as stone and the man flinched back at the cold look, but Kivuli never raised his voice. It was that same strong yet venom filled soft voice he used.
"Your shop makes me sick as we as you loathsome beings whom believe it's right to harm anyone not like you. No wonder our kind is the lowest of the low. Because you people do things that sully the name of being human," He turned to Max before speaking again. "Max will you be able to walk? Or would you rather I carry you out?" He asked seriously. He glanced at the manager before speaking to said manager, "You best pray little man that you aren't a felon because having those boys and me reporting you would be bad for you and your men." He would even go as far as buying the shop and turning it into an adoption facility if the government would allow it. That way no one was feeling bought, but a chance to have a new home. He had heard what that neko named Vayne had said, but because of whom he was he would be able to make sure the man never saw the light of day outside of prison. ......It must be destiny to be alone.
