Chao rolled in his sleep mumbling about cold. he flicked his hand and curled in a ball the fire roaring up again. his ride was fast asleep alittle ways away from him.
(i should be off to bed soon it is almost midnight lol)

Max quickly ate her breakfast, excited to go stand guard. She quickly ran outside, with others that beat her out there, and stood strong.

since the sun was comming out now Chao was waking up. he yawned and rolled onto his back sighing. he finally got up and got food starting to cook before relaxing in the blankets again poking at the fire the smoke continuing through the air to her camp that wsasnt that far from him.

Max stood like a regular soldier, until she saw a spider in the grass. She screamed silently and jumped back. She earth bended under the spider, and sent it flying away. She didnt like killing them.

maybe she smells the smoke and they come now? because he is in their territory (i am going to have him arrested but not for firebending yet))
Chao was poking at it with a stick waiting not really realizing how close he was to a military base. he was humming a firenation song that was stuck in his head.

Max smelt the air. She smelt fire. Why was there fire over here? No one can camp over here, so she knows. She looked behind her, and then to Julie, who was right next to her. "Do you Smell that?" She asked, and Julie just shook her head.

One of the other soldiers on the other side of her whisperes "what do you smell?" he looked around sniffing not finding any smell out.

Max whispered back, "I smell fire, could it be a fire bender? Or just a camper?" She looked around. Julie shrugged, "Why dont you find out?" Max gave her a WHAT face, "Whaat Why me?" "Just do it!" "Okay!" She said. She started to walk to the trees behind the group of earth bending soldiers.

they nod and she didnt have to go far to find him. he was sitting up about to eat when he heard something moving. he got up and grabs a sword from his ride and ready him self thinking it was some sort of animal.

Max looked beyond a tree, and saw a man with a sword. Isnt that the man she saw yesterday? "Uhh, what you doing over here?" She asked, him, still poking her head from behind a tree.

He saw her and sighed "are you following me?" he puts his sword away picking up his food and sitting down putting his feet near the fire.

"Well, acually no I am not. Why would I follow you if Im on duty? Our base is near, and we didnt know...people camp here." She said, reviling her whole body. She was the toughest girl in her base.

He tucked his blade beneath the blanket hiding the fire nation markings. "Well I had no idea there was a base near here I was just camping where it was most comfy.." he watched her as he ate his breakfast.

"Oh okay." She said, "I gotta get back to my base soon so next time be aware of whats around you." She suddenly heard trumpets, "What! Already!? Gotta go!" She said, and started to run off back to her base. The trumpets meant the fire nation started to come.
(When should fire nation pick him up or whatever?)

(I was thinking she would arrest him, her or someone tells her too bring him in. or maybe he rides into their army and they think that he was a spy or something so they catch him.)
He covers the fire packing his stuff up and riding off down the path as fast as he could, he did not want to be near the war or the firenation.
